She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in Lexington in 1996. In addition to her schooling, Dr. Brown has additional education and training from the prestigious Dawson Academy in Florida.
She is also a member of the American Dental Association, National Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Southern Crescent Study Club, with certifications in both Invisalign and Oral Sedation therapy.
A Kentucky native, Dr. Brown is now proud to call Fayetteville home where she and her husband are raising their two sons, while staying active in their Atlanta church. Balancing an accomplished career and a very active family life has given Dr. Brown the wonderful ability to truly relate to her patients with warmth, kindness, and candor.
Were so pleased to have Diane as part of the Smiles by Design team. Shes been working in dentistry since 1985 and is extremely knowledgeable about how to help patients afford a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Diane is a graduate of Ball State University and dental assisting school, with numerous hours of continuing education incorporating all aspects of dentistry. Working with patients on a regular basis allows Diane the ability to forge great relationships as she helps them enhance their oral health, and discusses possible financial options. The mouth is the doorway to your overall well being. The more we teach our patients about dental health, the healthier they will be. What does she love best? When a patient finally attains a new, confident smile thats truly priceless. Besides the great patients, Diane says her team makes coming to work each day truly enjoyable. She says the team is absolutely awesome and functions like a little extended family that works together to deliver optimal patient care. Outside the office this music lover is usually singing her heart out in the church choir or at home with family and friends.
Prior to attending hygiene school at Central Georgia Technical College, Charity was a dental assistant. As an integral part of the Smiles by Design squad, shes usually busy conducting oral cancer screenings, taking and developing x-rays, doing teeth cleanings, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, dental charting, and discussing the most effective dental hygiene strategies with our patients. My favorite thing about my job is helping my patients maintain a beautiful smile. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level and establishing relationships with them and their families. She enjoys working at Smiles by Design because of the level of camaraderie that can be hard to find at other practices. The atmosphere of appreciation and respect makes every day at work enjoyable. Charity has been married for 10 years and has two sons. She enjoys spending time with family, going to the lake, horses, cats, and shopping.
Melba has a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Medical College of Georgia and an Associates of Psychology from Atlanta Metropolitan College. She has been working in dentistry for 21 years.We are pleased to have this dental professional on our team. Like her fellow team members, she takes pride in getting to know each patient to better understand their individual needs. She delivers quality dental care with a gentle touch. Away from the office, Melba enjoys spendingtime with her family and friends.
