Smiles by Design, PC is a Huntsville based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more.
After graduating dental school in 1999, Dr. Wright joined the US Army, where she served for a little over four years. During this time, she had the honor to serve as a combat dentist in many intriguing scenarios, which included Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After acquiring the practice in January of 2006, she is now proud to call Huntsville home. The city has openly welcomed her and has made the transition into the neighborhood seamless in every regard.
Dr. Wright is an experienced clinician who is dedicated to providing high quality, conservative, and comfortable dentistry. She exceeds her continued education requirements every year. Dr. Wright is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Eighth District Dental Society.
We follow a strict sterilization protocol. Smiles by Design, PC is conveniently located on Whitesburg Drive, next to the Sports Med building. Our friendly and competent staff is dedicated to patient comfort and quality of care. We provide gentle, family oriented dental care to the adults and children of this community.
Dr. Wright pays special attention to the safety and comfort of her patients. She uses only the highest quality, most bio-compatible materials, including mercury-free fillings. Only pure distilled water is used during dental procedures. Any accessory or instrument that cannot be discarded after use is thoroughly cleaned and sterilized. Modern advances in treatment, materials or equipment that promises to enhance patient comfort or safety are first evaluated thoroughly by Dr. Wright, and, only then, after meeting her high standards, incorporated into her patient care regimen. For example, our new Digital Radiography System offers several advantages over traditional X-rays: they are more comfortable, more accurate, and, best of all, have up to 80% less radiation. Gentle care and the safest equipment and techniques are hallmarks of Dr. Wrights practice.

Like a day at a Spa! I recently damaged one of my molars beyond repair and had to have a crown installed. In the past this type of service would have taken another two appointments, one to prep the tooth and order the crown, then a second appointment to install the delivered crown. This time it took only one appointment, because after prepping the tooth, they created the crown in a machine right there in the office while I waited a very short time (~ 30 minutes) watching tv in a comfortable massaging dental chair. The crown fit me perfectly and the whole experience was quick with little to no discomfort. Dr. Wright and her staff are professionals who provide a high quality dental service with the latest technology and a gentle touch.

It's always a nice experience to visit this place, I never enjoy going to the dentist before until I started visiting Smiles by design , the doctor Yaritza is very nice and helpful and care for her patients a lot, they offer services in both: Spanish and English languages, and also accept self-pay patients, also I have to mention how pretty and clean this place is, very nice, I very much recommend it

After five years in Germany, we are returning to Dr. Wright and her team for our dental care. We were not disappointed. We were reactivated in their system with little problem. The technicians performed their job in the best possible manner. State-of-the-art equipment was use for X-rays and digital imaging. Very pleased with the whole process.

Thank you to Smiles! :-) As someone who brushes and flosses religiously, it's still a good feeling to get regular professional cleanings. I have had some major work (replacement crown work) by Smiles, and it has held & performed very well. The hygienists and dentist have always been quite precise in their work, and courteous and friendly in their communication. Their care and feedback have helped me keep a good set of teeth, healthy gums, and a good smile. Special thanks to the front desk's professionalism and fast track computerized check-in system.
