After graduating dental school in 1999, Dr. Wright joined the US Army, where she served for a little over four years. During this time, she had the honor to serve as a combat dentist in many intriguing scenarios, which included Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After acquiring the practice in January of 2006, she is now proud to call Huntsville home. The city has openly welcomed her and has made the transition into the neighborhood seamless in every regard.
Dr. Wright is an experienced clinician who is dedicated to providing high quality, conservative, and comfortable dentistry. She exceeds her continued education requirements every year. Dr. Wright is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Eighth District Dental Society.
We follow a strict sterilization protocol. Smiles by Design, PC is conveniently located on Whitesburg Drive, next to the Sports Med building. Our friendly and competent staff is dedicated to patient comfort and quality of care. We provide gentle, family oriented dental care to the adults and children of this community.
Dr. Wright pays special attention to the safety and comfort of her patients. She uses only the highest quality, most bio-compatible materials, including mercury-free fillings. Only pure distilled water is used during dental procedures. Any accessory or instrument that cannot be discarded after use is thoroughly cleaned and sterilized. Modern advances in treatment, materials or equipment that promises to enhance patient comfort or safety are first evaluated thoroughly by Dr. Wright, and, only then, after meeting her high standards, incorporated into her patient care regimen. For example, our new Digital Radiography System offers several advantages over traditional X-rays: they are more comfortable, more accurate, and, best of all, have up to 80% less radiation. Gentle care and the safest equipment and techniques are hallmarks of Dr. Wrights practice.
