Dr. Rahaim believes in creating lasting friendships with his orthodontic patients. In working with his younger patients, he is not only changing their lives through orthodontic treatments, but also mentoring them as they grow up before his eyes. By treating each patient as an individual, Dr. Rahaim is able to create customized treatment plansto ensure thatthe patients desired goals are met efficiently and without discomfort.

He is always available to patients and parents toanswer questions about treatments and the progress being made. Dr. Rahaims warm and unassuming approach to his work sets even the more timid patients immediately at ease, and his gentle and careful nature provides further reassurance that they are safe and have nothing to worry about.

Knowing that he must stay at the forefront of changes in orthodontic treatments, options, and techniques in order to best serve his patients, Dr. Rahaim is passionate about pursuing continuing education coursework. He regularly participates in conferences, lectures, and symposiums.

A native of Hattiesburg, MS, Dr. Rahaimis proud to practice orthodontics on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. He has three precious children: two sons named Landon and Ledger and a daughter named Leighton. Dr. Rahaims favorite times are those spent laughing and playing with his children, but he also enjoys running, swimming, following the LSU Tiger football and baseball teams, and watching a good movie.

DotsieOffice ManagerDotsie has worked in all aspects of the dental field since 1989. She is a native of New Orleans but has been on the Gulf Coast since 1981 and has strong roots in this area. She strives daily to provide a positive atmosphere for Dr. Rahaim and his team that will result in the best care for the patients and the practice. Dotsie loves traveling and spending time with friends and family!

TarynFront desk/Schedule CoordinatorTaryn has been part of our team since December 2015 and is usually the first person you speak to or see when you begin your journey with our office. She is the best person for this job and always makes everyone feel like they are part of our family here at Smiles by Design. Taryn enjoys going to the gym, jet-skiing, and cooking. She makes all of delicious birthday cakes for our team on each of their birthdays!

MadisonInsurance CoordinatorMadison has been part of our team since May of 2016. She is from Pass Christian and is not only an experienced orthodontic assistant, but she also handles our insurance claims for the practice. Madison is a team player and is always ready to help our team and the patients any time or anywhere she is needed. She enjoys any activities that involve being on the water and camping with her fianc, and fur babies, Hank and Chino.

Lee AnnCertified Orthodontic AssistantLee Ann assists Dr. Rahaim with all aspects of our patients orthodontic treatment, including lab work and treatment coordination with more than 25 years of experience in this field. She is happy to be part of a group that embraces a teamwork concept. In her spare time, Lee Ann enjoys going to the beach, walks in the park, and traveling to north Mississippi to see her Mom and sister. Her favorite part of living on the Coast is being able to have quick access to the beach, and being close to the apple of her eye, her son.

JenniferOrthodontic AssistantJennifer has been part of our team since April 2015. Her favorite part of being an orthodontic assistant is working with patients and seeing the transformation from when she puts patients braces on and when they come off. Jen is always willing to help her team whenever help is needed! When not perfecting smiles, Jennifer enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with her family. Jennifers most prized possession is her gorgeous lab, Cash.

KristenCertified Orthodontic AssistantKristen, a Certified Orthodontic Assistant, has been in the dental field for 10 years. She joined our team in April 2017. Kristens favorite part of orthodontics is taking braces off and revealing patients beautiful new smiles! In her spare time, Kristen enjoys kayaking with her husband, visiting her home town of Mobile, and playing with her three dogs.

FeliciaOrthodontic AssistantFelicia joined our team in May of 2018. Felicia enjoys the bond she is forming with our patients and mastering new skills every day. Felicia enjoys spending time with her family, and her beloved dog, Clyde!

WhitneyOrthodontic AssistantWhitney has worked in the dental field since 2014, and joined our team in September 2018. Though Whitney enjoys every aspect of the dental field, she finds orthodontics most exciting. In her spare time, Whitney enjoys barrel racing, playing fetch with her cat, and spending time with her fianc and family. Fun fact: Before beginning a career in the dental field, Whitney worked on a farm!
