Enhancing the lives of North Texas patients for over 15 years, Dr. Christy Caffey-Earle believes in providing the highest quality dental care and uses her extensive skills to give each patient a beautiful, healthy smile. Dr. Caffey-Earle is native of Deer Park, Texas. She received degrees from Texas A & M University and the University of Texas Health Science Center, having graduated in 1999.

Since 2003, Dr. Caffey-Earle has been utilizing the most innovative technology, in a conveniently located, upscale facility to provide a warm and caring atmosphere where patients receive dental care that enables them to feel confident with their smiles for a lifetime.

Dr. Caffey-Earle prides herself on treating her patients like family. She utilizes her extensive experience and aesthetic skills to analyze and create a smile ideally suited to each patient. She carefully listens and understands a patients needs, desires and concerns. Following diagnosis, she educates her patients on their options, and then develops a specific treatment plan with the ultimate goal of optimum oral health.

Outside the office, Dr. Caffey-Earle and her husband enjoy spending time with their four young children. When not busy practicing dentistry and raising her children, Dr. Caffey-Earle enjoys running and staying active. She uses the same concern, drive and determination she exhibits in her personal life to make sure each patient achieves their dental goals!

After moving to Texas in 1976, Dr. Sieber considers herself a Texan. She moved to the Dallas area in 1984 after graduating from Texas Tech with a Bachelors of Science Degree. She then received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989 From Baylor College of Dentistry.

Since graduating, she has practiced dentistry for over 28 years in Irving, TX. She discovered her love of dentistry while undergoing orthodontics as a child. This love helped develop her philosophy of practicing dentistry today. She develops trust with her patients by listening and trying to understand their concerns then providing solutions to help them obtain their optimal dental health. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is making her patients smile, which is why she became a part of the Smiles By Design team.

When shes not practicing dentistry, she is watching movies or hanging out with her family. Married to her husband of 26 years she also has 2 boys in college and 2 Jack Russell terriers to care for. She uses the same love of family to give all her patients the same care and attention as she would a member of her family.

Dr. Bazan is a board certified Periodontist that has been practicing dentistry since 1998. She is originally from Houston, Texas and graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998 and completed her Periodontal residency from the University of Maryland in 2003. Dr. Bazan prides herself by staying up-to-date on procedures and having the latest equipment and instrumentation available to serve her patients. She is conservative in her treatment plans so that she is able to achieve predictable and successful outcomes for her patients. She takes the time to do a thorough clinical examination and discusses the treatment options with her patients. She aspires to have the patient completely understand the options available so that they are able to make the most appropriate decision for their situation.

Dr. Bazan practices dentistry because she loves it. She treats people as she wants to be treated, and her patients confirm that she is achieving that goal. On a more personal note, she is an avid marathon runner and loves sharing her passion for a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Scott Williams is from Commerce, Texas and did his undergraduate work at Texas A&M University. Dr Williams received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Dental Branch, Houston. He has practiced dentistry for 26 years, and is married to his high school sweetheart. They have 4 children.

Dr. Williams visits the Smiles by Design office monthly to perform in-house oral surgery services as a convenient service to our patients. He uses his unique abilities to treatment plan the most conservative treatment that will provide the best long-term solution to his patients dental needs. Due to the frightening nature of having oral surgery performed, Dr. Williams looks forward to the opportunity to change a patients mind and anxiety about oral surgery. He strives to provide that service in a gentle and caring atmosphere.

The team at Smiles By Design believe in the importance of preventative care. We focus on keeping patients in good oral health so that they can live a full, healthy, and enjoyable life that is free from oral pain. This starts by educating our patients on what they can do to stay healthy at home. In our family dentist office we recommend that patients eat a healthy diet that consists of green leafy vegetables, lean protein, nuts, dairy products, and crunchy fruits and veggies. Eating these foods along with drinking water can help to keep teeth healthy and make them stronger. By simultaneously reducing sugar intake, patients can also reduce their risk of cavities.

It is also important to brush and floss throughout the day. Instead of waiting for bedtime to brush teeth, carry a small toothbrush and use it after meals and snacks. This makes it possible to remove sugar and bacteria from the teeth and gums before it has the opportunity to turn into acid that can attack the teeth. This preventative step can greatly reduce a persons' risk of getting a cavity or gum disease. We understand the importance of taking these steps at home and will spend the time necessary to educate and inform patients so that they can stay healthy overall. Education, after all, is essential for living a long and healthy life.

A. Primary, or 'baby,' teeth are important for many reasons. Not only do they help children speak clearly and chew naturally, they also aid in forming a path that permanent teeth can follow when they are ready to come in.

A. First, rinse the irritated area with warm salt water and place a cold compress on the face if it is swollen. Give the child acetaminophen for any pain, rather than placing aspirin on the teeth or gums. Finally, see a dentist as soon as possible.

A. Sealants work by filling in the crevasses on the chewing surfaces of the teeth. This shuts out food particles that could get caught in the teeth, causing cavities. The application is fast and comfortable and can effectively protect teeth for many years.

A. Have your family dentist evaluate the fluoride level of your child's primary source of drinking water. If your child is not getting enough fluoride internally through water (especially if the fluoride level is deficient or if your child drinks bottled water without fluoride), then we may prescribe fluoride supplements.

A. There is very little risk in dental X-rays. Family dentists are especially careful to limit the amount of radiation to which you and your family are exposed. Lead aprons and high-speed film are used to ensure safety and minimize the amount of radiation. Digital x-rays provide an even greater level of protection by using up to 90 percent less radiation.
