Candace is among the most accomplished and regarded dental hygienist in Redding and California. She is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in providing the professions leading dental hygiene care while utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and supplies.
Candace has been a resident of Shasta County for over 20 years and has been practicing dental hygiene for more than 16 years. She graduated one of the top clinicians in her class from Shasta College with an Associates Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene. She then furthered her education at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and graduated as an RDHAP. After graduation Candace returned to Shasta County and developed Smiles By Candy.
Candace provides quality dental hygiene care for her patients, caring for adults and children in her practice. She is widely recognized throughout Shasta County for her thorough and gentle care of patients of all ages.

Candy is easily the best hygienist I've ever gone to. But it's not her a spa like office with it's heated chair and heated eye protection, calming music and welcoming vibes, it's her ability to solve chronic dental problems!!! Everyone else I went to told me to brush my teeth regularly, floss, and see the dentist more often. Those are things I was doing that weren't working. They didn't resolve my deep gum pockets and chronic gingivitis. It wasn't until I met Candy, that I learned about all kinds of other things I could be doing to resolve my dental issues. And after one year of treatment with Candy, my chronic issues are resolved! I can't recommend her highly enough!

Words can't express how amazing my visit with Candy was!! She's kind, informative, and does amazing work. My teeth have never felt so clean. I no long fear going to the dentist or getting my teeth cleaned. AMAZING

What a beautiful experience I had with Candy. The office is so inviting! My cleaning was the best I've ever had. The level of kindness and care Candy puts into her practice is evident. No pinching, no discomfort, and you can just feel the care she puts into her work. My mouth feels amazing!! She's very nice too! She gives the care and attention you deserve. Highly recommended!

Nice clean office, very relaxing and spa like. Candy is very friendly and great with kids. She is very informative and talks the kids through everything if they are nervous. My son loved her. Will continue seeing her and refer to others. Was a great experience.

Had a great experience getting my teeth cleaned here. Candy is professional and her workspace is very nice and tidy. We discussed my dental history and she gave me options for preventative and restorative care that made me feel more in charge of my dental heath.

This is such a great place , I went in for a cleaning and falling in I love of how peaceful and how beautiful the office was. Candy is so sweet (no pun intended) her self she was taking care of me really well I walked out of there with clean teeth and a great experience will be bringing my son in too. So glad I found this place.

Candy has been my hygienist for many years now and she is amazing at what she does! She is always so sweet and very informative. I love her new office, you feel like you're in a spa, not a dental office. It makes the experience so much more relaxing. Candy is the best! I had the best cleaning experience in 40+ years. She was friendly, down to earth, and let me know where she was going every step of the way. Nice, comfortable space (heated pad on the chair was a plus in December!). After my experience I booked my wife and kids. They all loved her too. Highly recommend!

Candy is absolutely THE best...she's very knowledgeable, professional and above all nice! She explains everything as she's doing it. She makes it like a spa experience; the chair is heated and the music is soothing. All in all a wonderful experience. I highly recommend her!

Candy has been my family's hygienist for 3 years now. She is hands down AMAZING!! completely changed my outlook on getting a cleaning! She is so gentle, caring, and knowledgeable. Her office is spa like from setting to the smell. My 3 kids LOVE her! They were shy the first time meeting her, but now they leave her office jumping up and down like they just left chuck-e-cheese. We are so grateful for her

I absolutely love candy. She is sweet and professional, and really good at her job. When I first started seeing her my gums were in very poor health but in 2 visits she had them looking so much better and has helped my mouth exponentially. Oh and her chair is so warm and cozy you could fall asleep. It really is a 5 star experience.

Let me just say that you can let go of any preconceived notions of the dentist when you go see Candy. She is kind, caring, patient, gentle and thorough. You need not be afraid of dental maintenance with her. She is fabulous! Candy has created a wonderfully relaxing environment, which truly does rival any spa I've been to. Most importantly, she does great work. But as a close second, she offers a safe, comfortable environment that will help anyone get over a fear of dentists. Give it a try...you'll be hooked!
