I had made an apt for a crown. I had to wait 3 weeks for it. In the mean time I made sure the office received my pre-authorisation from my insurance. I also called the office to ask about payment for my portion. The office told me that I can pay half of my portion for the first visit and the other for the last crown appointment. I came to my appointment 1 hr early. When I asked the staff about payment they told me I had to pay everything up front. I explained that I came prepared to pay half of my portion. They said they could not do the service unless I pay the full fee. I said I can stay if they honor what they told me on the phone but if not I will leave. I left. A few days later I receive a bill for $95. I should be charging the office for my travel and wasted time on my day off. Very disappointing.

As someone who suffers from pretty significant dental anxiety, I have had dentists in the past who had rushed and treated me as if I was just being difficult. I have nothing but nice things to say about Dr. Oops. Such a genuine, kind, patient dentist. He is honest, upfront and skillful and has such a wonderful bedside manner. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. If you have any issues, Heidi will make sure you are taken care of! My only complaint is the difficulty of speaking to the office on the phone as I understand they are very busy. They prefer to communicate via text message which I can imagine might not be ideal for certain people.

I had a great experience. Nikita was the DA she was kind, gentle and thorough, Dr. Fridella was friendly and attentive. The office staff is welcoming, helpful and well organized. Highly recommend Smiles at LWR!

I have only been to smiles twice (new to Florida). I couldn't be happier with this dental office. Everyone is Uber friendly and my hygienist (Olivia) was both very good at what she does and a nice person. I have avoided dentist appointments in the past ... not any more!!

After searching for a dentist who will accept my Insurance I came to Smiles at Lakewood Ranch. It's was a long distance from my house, but the trip was totally worth it. The staff were very polite and knowledgeable. It was an excellent visit and will recommend them very highly.

Unfortunately, my second visit was less than satisfactory today. I waited 1/2 hour before I went to the front desk to question whether they were that backed up. The receptionist (not the one who supposedly checked me in) checked her computer, said to hold on and went back to talk to a hygienist. Moments later she walked out and the hygienist came out and ushered me in. There was never any apology. I had a question about random greying of my teeth for about 10 days. I felt the hygienist was a bit unprofessional and disregarded by concern. I asked if I could speak with a dentist but was told they were too busy. Too busy to take care of their patients? At the end of the appointment I asked her why it was I had to wait for 30 minutes. She told me the front desk never told her I was there. At that point she apologized, an apology that should have occurred at the beginning of my appointment. The cashier asked how everything was and I told her about my wait. It was not actually the wait that bothered me. It was the fact that no one took ownership and no one openly apologized. She apologized, genuinely. At the end of my time I asked the hygienist to please book me for April, 6 months from today. I was told they were booking into June. I requested she check the April calendar and look for an open date or cancellation. There was an opening on April 26. This was not a good experience, and I can only hope that next April goes much better.

Smiles is a joke, the way they do business has a lot to be desired! I had an appointment for Sept. 27th. Hurricane Ian hit right then destroying our life's. My ouster and I share house, we're both disabled! I tried to reschedule and she told me May 17th 2023! Iam 66yrs , and never been treated like a joke.

Great place. The dental assistant and the dentist were both very competent. I am coming back. Back again for a cleaning and the hygienist did a great job. Everyone there is friendly and very professional .

I am a new patient of Dr. Opps and I wanted to leave a review to show my appreciation for him and the whole Smiles at Lakewood Ranch dental office. I was fitted for a retainer recently, but after feeling some discomfort, I returned to the office for a consultation. Dr. Opps was very helpful in explaining my options, and I was able to be fitted for a different type of retainer. I am very thankful for the genuine concern of Dr. Opps and the helpful staff at Smiles.

There are no words, just my smile, but I'll try to tell you what a great job Dr Fridella and Anja did for me. I needed a crown on my front tooth and veneers on the other 3 surrounding teeth so they would match. My teeth were very chipped, ground down, and discolored. I was very skeptical that my teeth could be restored to match what my smile had been and without some sort of damage to my gums. Dr Fridella took the time to show me other smiles she had restored and explained the process. She also explained how she and the staff would work with me until I was satisfied with my smile and how my teeth looked. What was important to me is that Dr Fridella and Anja gave me the opportunity to "try" my new teeth on and send pictures to my kids to see what they thought before they were placed permanently. Both of my adult children were amazed and happy with my smile. I couldn't be happier with my results either. I didn't realize how little I gave a full smile until now. Thank you both for your patience. Greatest thanks to everyone at Smiles at Lakewood Ranch. I'm a fan and I'll be back.

On time, friendly, very competent and understanding. Went in for cleaning and annual check up. Service was outstanding. On time, efficient, and helpful.
