Dr. Kali Nalamachu grew up immersed in dentistry. Her passion for it was instilled by both her grandfather (who was the first dentist in South India) and her father. Dr. Kali says, As I focus on preventive care, interacting with patients and seeing their smiles is the best part about being a dentist.
Prevention is better than a cure. For the past 20 years, Dr. Kali has made Overland Park her home and she is passionate about her mission to support her neighbors by providing high-quality dental care with individualized treatment plans, always with their comfort and satisfaction in mind. You may have met her outside of her work as she is an active volunteer dentist in the area schools.
Dr. Kali is married to Dr. Sri Nalamachu, a physician in our community and a globally prominent researcher in pain medicine. Their daughter Megan is a freshman at Dartmouth College, pursuing a career in global health care policy while hitting a mean drive on the golf course! Dr. Kali enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

I spent well over a grand to get cavities filled here, just to go to another dentist to get them all refilled less than a year later.

I was very impressed -- my first cleaning there was performed by the Doctor. I feel like she really got to know my mouth. The initial visit was affordable and included the X-rays and more importantly the camera wand allowed me to SEE my teeth for real. Later received a crown on a tooth that had been filled more than once in my lifetime. Also, it was chipped by my grinding and could not be filled again with good results...My experience was very good. COVID protocol is followed there of course.

Went to my first dentist appointment in 5 years, at Smiles 4 U today. It was a very positive experience for me! The receptionist is very kind and helpful, and the staff were thorough, direct, and the appointment went smoothly. Thank you to Dr. Kali, Shay, and Patty for making this experience much less intimidating and a lot more enjoyable!

I felt very safe while Dr. Kali worked! It was a very comfortable environment, and everyone was very welcoming. I really feel like Dr. Kali and everyone who works there has an understanding of dentistry a cut above the rest :) I very much recommend going to Smiles 4 U for any dentistry needs!

I came in for a routine cleaning and was told I had several cavities. I found this info to be strange because I take good care of my teeth. I decided to get a second opinion and was told I had perfect teeth by a different dentist. DO NOT TRUST KALI NALAMACHU!!! This lady runs scams on her customers!

Dr. Kali is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! I have a severe phobia of dentists due to a prior horrible experience with a dentist in another state so I was very apprehensive. From my initial visit with Dr. Kali, she made me feel extremely comfortable and took the time to explain everything that needed to be done. She even takes pictures of the problem areas to show where the corrections are needed. Dr. Kali and her staff (Patty, Jessica and her dental hygienist ) are very professional, super friendly and want to make sure you have the best experience possible.

On my very first visit, after cleaning, Dr. Kali came into the room and started listing all the things I needed to fix or have done. No hello, welcome, minor chit chat or even looking inside my mouth. She didn't explain what teeth went with each procedure, I had to ask. That was my first and last visit to Smiles 4 U.

I've been going here for almost 5 years now. Dr. Kali and her staff are patient and put time and care into what they do: right down to matching the color of your teeth for a crown and making sure your bite is correct. They take time to explain the procedures they perform and make sure you understand. The regular cleanings are gentle and thorough and my mouth feels amazing afterwards (not achy!) If you are looking for a dentist, I would recommend smiles 4 U.

I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Kali and her hygienist, Shay. I went first with a special offer for a cleaning (with X rays) for new patients and Shay worked with me. She was so patient and explained everything that she was doing. It was such a calm and reassuring experience. I think she would be so great for anyone with that pesky dentist-anxiety. They found a couple of small cavities and talked me through the process without shame or blame. I set up an appointment for the fillings for the following week. Shay called me personally to remind me of the appointment. Upon going in for the procedure, Dr. Kali was again very calming and reassuring. She talked me through everything - even when I had questions mid-procedure, she stopped and patiently explained while showing me images of my teeth. I feel so confident with their work and bed-side manner, and you should too!

I absolutely love Dr. Kali Nalamachu's practice. From the moment you walk in the door everything becomes so personable, like you are the only one that matters. My favorite part is how quick my visits are. My 2 kids and I were in and out within an hour, and to fill 3 cavities took her less than 15-20 mins. She is very cognizant of your comfort and makes adjustments to ensure that you are satisfied. She is upfront and will never perform work that isn't authorized by your insurance without letting you know the deal. I just love her calmness and knowledge. Her practice is exemplary of what people hope for and expect when visiting a new provider. Her ratings are legit and I approve. We will be sticking with her a long time.
