This business is just ok. Firstly, they canceled our appointment claming they needed a verbal confirmation on if we would show. Which I called them 1 hr after they left a message. Strange. Then they call the day of the appointment to change the time. Definitely a hit or miss with who you interact with. The front desk woman slammed the thermometer into my head and didn't acknowledge it. Her interactions with us were rude and uncomfortable. It was hilarious to see her perk up when a Caucasian family walked in but was the total opposite with us. During rescheduling nobody at the front desk acknowledged us; instead a dental assistant walked up to us to announce she was done rescheduling. She did so without input from my husband or I. Then she got upset when we had to reschedule because of her lack of communication. Also, I feel she could of slowed down when explaining a procedure to me. She seemed annoyed and in a hurry.

The staff is so friendly, and made my child feel very comfortable. Very easy scheduling, and the text reminders are great. After we left, my child said he was afraid at beforehand, but as soon as we went in, his nerves were eased.

I've been taking my child to this establishment for six years without any issues or concerns...until today. I will be finding a different dentist. My child and I were treated with disrespect, rudeness, impatience , condescending attitude from the assistant, Nicole. She was impatient and gave poor instructions to my child during an attempt to take full x rays..she accused my son of not listening , overthinking and snapped at him. My child was actually doing a great job, keeping a positive attitude and tolerance towards her demeaning attitude. How dare her speak to my child or any child in such a mean manner...I'm disgusted.

The people are nice. However, I was forced to drive all the way from Pagosa Springs to Durango due to my insurance (I know not their fault.) I was very annoyed with the whole process. The appointment was at 3 we got there around 240 or so to fill out paperwork. Good thing the weather was nice because we were forced to stay outside. Have you ever tried to keep a 2 year old cooped up in a car? Almost 50 minutes later at 325 or so I was finally told I was allowed inside. I know things get behind but there was no communication at all. It would have been nice for her to say we are running behind or something when I called to tell them we were there. To have to show up at a place and call and then be told you have to stay outside, wait for a text, then wait to go in that makes no sense. The protocols at this place and all medical facilities are absurd.

Easy to get an appointment when needed. Takes our insurance and the dentists, hygienists, technicians, and front office staff are all friendly and helpful. I feel like they really try to make dental visits and oral hygiene accessible to kids (to build those healthy habits).

As a grandmother I did not know where to go or who to turn to when my grandson was getting a toothache. My friend told me me about Smiles 4 Kids & the experience was amazing the way the professional staff works with children. Afterwards I talked to my grandson and he told me he would like to go back again to get all his teeth fixed & cleaned. Thank you so much.

My daughter had some work done today and was taken good care of by a dentist named Jeff. I'll find any reason to come back and see him! Liz
