Since opening our doors over 35 years ago, Smiles 4 Keepshas been at the forefront of providing special care to every patient we see include infants, toddlers, school-age children, teenagers and special needs individuals. We spend much of our time treating patients who have difficulty obtaining care anywhere else.
In 1973, Ross Wezmar, DDS began Affiliated Pediatric Dentists of NEPA with a singular vision: To create a welcoming pediatric dentistry practice known for its excellent care, compassionate staff, and patient advocacy
Since that time, Dr. Wezmars practice has grown to include more dentists and the talented staff members who support them. New technologies and treatment options were offered as they became available, and additional offices were opened to serve patients in Luzerne and Monroe Counties. Recently, the practice refreshed its name and its look when Affiliated Pediatric Dentists of NEPA became Smiles 4 Keeps. One thing that hasnt changed is the vision statement that guides us in everything we do.

Smiles 4 keeps really takes good care of both my children. They are very sweet and they have always helped with whatever my kids needed for their teeth. And I am so thankful that they have a orthodontist there now. My children are extremely comfortable at their office. Thank you for everything that smiles 4 keeps does for my children

If I could put 0 stars I would. My 2 year old son had an appointment at 8:30am. The office opens at 8:30am and we arrived at 8:30am. We were brought back into the exam room at 8:45am. The dental hygienist came to the room at 8:50am, brushed my sons teeth and applied fluoride. We then began to wait for the doctor to come into the office, long story short. It was 10am and still no doctor came into the office for the exam of my sons teeth. A 2 year old in the doctor office for an hour and a half when he is only there for routine! We walked out! We will never come here again.

I only came here with my two year old a few months back because he had not seen a dentist yet, and needed a cleaning and check to make sure everything was in order. I originally had him set up with a better dentist in another area, but felt too anxious to wait another few months so I brought him here till the meantime. When we got back to do his checkup and cleaning they stuck us in some old, unsanitary, random small room that could barely fit me, my son, his father and the dentist. She had me sit in an old chair and had me hold his bottom half while she sat in another chair and cleaned his teeth. I can't even make this up even if I tried. 10/10 do not recommend.

I can't complain about the staff in the back they always take gate of my kids but those receptionists and more so the billing lady are so rude. There was an issue with insurance and they were quick to ask me to pay and wanted to withhold service from my child due to their mistake. Someone at their office deleted his coverage. They never once apologized. Not to mention insurance covers preventative services 100%. They didn't even bill me or send me anything in the mail but wanted to make it very public at the office.

The service was very good here. From the secretary to the woman who brought my son out to me after his appointment. I just feel like it's not very clean. There were signs saying they are under construction, so maybe that's it. But I think updated seats/chairs would also be something to thing about. Overall, I will continue to go back.

Every person we came in contact with were fantastic and that's why the five star rating. It was our first visit and we waited an hour to be seen. Hopefully our next visit will be more timely.

Only about making money off our childern. They know my daughter is a Cystic Fibrosis Patient and needs approval from her Pulmonologists before a procedure can be done. They never got the approval and were ready to extract 3 teeth with sweet air that were only being removed for orthodontic reasons. Spoke to her Pulmonologists yesterday and he said absolutely not if she aspirated any blood into her lungs during the procedure it could cause a infection and would be a hospital stay. Never will she go to these people again. They do not care about their patients.

I am so happy I found Smiles4Keeps in Scranton. My son needed so much work, unfortunately. Smiles4keeps got us in for am emergency visit as brand new patients the same day I called. 3 hours later my child had antibiotics, was out of pain, and had an appointment booked for treatment. I knew it would be a wait, and the appointment was for a few months out. I expected that though, so it wasn't a problem. But they put us on their cancellation list, and within a week of the initial phone call, my child had the treatment he needed. I never expected that. Then, they were way ahead of me with making my son comfortable. They knew my worries and they already had a plan. I thought I would be upset that I could not go back with him for treatment, but when they came back to meet us and talk us through the procedure, their empathy and compassion made me confident in my son being in their care. They updated me, came to find me in the waiting room - I didn't have to ask a single time. They told my son how amazing he was, and how brave, and when we were leaving, they took the time to make sure I understood the aftercare instructions. The appointment took about 2 hours from start to finish. We were called almost immediately when we arrived - there was barely a wait. Most of the appointment time was them allowing the sedations to work, and making sure my son was comfortable physically and emotionally. None of it was rushed, they really took the time to let my son gain confidence and trust in them. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist for someone you love, bring them to Smiles4keeps. They are truly invested in helping children have a great experience and gain confidence when it comes to their dental health. Also, they employ the *nicest* people on Earth.

Horrible service, My child and I were there over 2 hours and 30 minutes for our appointment. They overbook then they tell me my kid has a cavity but cannot do the filling for more then 30 days. The lady was hostile! She also got upset because I called my insurance company. My child left without getting the work done.

So much better the dentist was so kind and my toddler is in need of a woman dentist so this time his experience was definitely a complete 360.. last time it was a male and he was so upset cried and cried was puking and couldn't calm down.. just something about a mother ... woman .. female always helps when a child needs work done on there mouth it's soothing comforting and more relax ..

The entire staff was friendly. They work very well with kids of all ages. They are thorough and very accommodating. I highly recommend them for anyone, but especially for children with any type of special needs.

We arrived a half hour early at 11am, we weren't scheduled to do paperwork until 1130 and my 3 year old daughter actually appointment was at 12. (we had 1.5 hr ride) we left the office at 11:36 completely done! The staff was absolutely amazing, so many creative toys/wall decor. My daughter enjoyed every minute of her first experience at the dentist.. We are very satisfied.
