Dr. Neil graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 1987 and entered Stony Brook Dental School immediately thereafter. He graduated at the top of his class in 1991 and took a hospital-based General Practice Residency position at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, Long Island. He is now a teacher and faculty member on staff at the hospital.
It was at North Shore University Hospital that Dr. Neil was able to perfect and develop so many of the skills that allow him to feel comfortable treating all types of patients and dental conditions. As a result of his training, Dr. Neil works extensively with patients that require full mouth rehabilitation, utilizing various modalities such as laser, implants, computer analysis, and digital and cosmetic imaging. Dr. Neil also has additional training in implant surgery and restoration from a three year certificated program at NYU Dental School, and he is now faculty at that program.
Dr. Neil takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of care by attending continuing dental education courses throughout the year. Dr. Neil has completed a rigorous continuum at the L.D. Pankey Institute spanning many weeks of study over nine years, where full mouth rehabilitation and occlusion have been mastered. Attendance at these courses allows him to perfect his skills in oral rehabilitation and patient care. The Pankey Institute has taught Dr. Neil how to care for his patients on a one-to-one basis, developing relationships for a lifetime.
Dr. Neil enjoys lecturing to local study clubs as well as giving presentations to children at our local schools, especially during National Dental Health Month, which occurs in February. He can also be found lecturing to other dentists, local health-related groups, or at medical/dental fairs.

Dr. Steven Bienstock earned his doctorate from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class. Dr. Bienstock founded various dental study clubs and lecture series at the dental school and was the recipient of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Award.
Dr. Bienstock then went on to complete his residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Queens, New York where he received the Doctor Benjamin Recant Award for Clinical Excellence in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During his time in residency he became proficient in treating dental emergencies, oral pathology cases and pediatric care.
As a native to the Five Towns, Dr. Bienstock is passionate about building a trusting relationship with each one of his patients. His mission is to create a painless experience, alleviate all fears, and provide the highest quality of care that he would offer his own family. The dental field is an ever evolving one and Dr. Bienstock works to remain up to date on all the newest advancements so as to provide his patients with most cutting-edge treatment possible.
Dr. Bienstock enjoys talking shop with his wonderful wife Lauren, who also works in the dental field as a dental hygienist. They have three children and live locally in Woodmere. When Dr. Bienstock is not spending time with his family he enjoys exercising, playing chess, and playing piano.

Dr Neil has always been a caring painless dentist to me and my husband. His staff is wonderful- professional, patient, friendly. Beth is lovely and runs the office very well. Never any waiting and the highest standard of cleanliness and latest equipment. We've been going there for about 25 years!

Dr. Berman is fantastic. Takes his time, isn't trying to push cosmetic dentistry, although I'm sure he has lots of great stuff to offer, and seems to genuinely love taking care of patients. I'm VERY picky about my dentist and teeth and I'm so glad I found him!

Have been seeing Dr.Neil ever since he took over the practice from his father. I would guess about 20 years ago. Dr. Neil is very professional & quite caring. He has an excellent staff & the office runs extremely smoothly. DR. Neil & staff also rate high for punctuality

This place is without a doubt the best dentist in the five towns. I have never ever been so happy with results, customer service, devotion, and so much care the way they give it here. Dr. Beinstock is fabulous! Seriously! He has a unique way of giving you numbing shots without you feeling a thing. I would recommend absolutely EVERYONE to this dentist. Wow! No words. By far the best dentist I've ever had. This is coming from someone who experienced years of dental trauma as a child which caused me to fear dentist visits and feel so anxious. Dr Bienstock is a wonderful example of an all around awesome doctor. He is kind and caring and will go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. He is professional and his bedside manner is truly impressive. And as a dentist, he is highly educated, talented and conservative. You can really tell Dr Bienstock loves what he does. Leslie is a wonderful hygienist who always finds a way to put me at ease as well :) Since my first call to set up an appointment, the staff has been so kind and helpful. Beth has made sure to check with my insurance and help me understand any costs for procedures prior to treatment. The office is in a great location, very clean and inviting. The equipment is new and state of the art which is super cool. I have nothing but the best things to say and I'm so grateful to have found you!

I generally don't like going to the dentist but Dr. Bienstock really made me feel so comfortable. He takes the time to explain everything and has great bedside manner. As for the office staff they are super friendly and very accommodating. Wait time is less than five minutes. I highly recommend this place

Terrible dentistry avoid Dr Berman - I paid over $20,000 for a bridge and caps all of which fell apart in a very short time with no refund at all!
