This place is where miracles come true. Looking at how my teeth looked when I started with them, and then looking at my teeth now, I can't believe the outcome. Pristine smile with all teeth where they should be. Absolutely amazing!

This is one of the best investments I made in myself. It's been 2 years since I started with SmileOn, only 1 appointment away from getting my braces off. If you're wondering about the results, trust me, you can already see your teeth starting to straighten out after a few weeks. Months in, you will start to realize how neat your bites will look and get to see your brightest smiles. You may be advised to extract some teeth in order to achieve the correct bite and the most beautiful smile. They will let you know at your consultation appointment, including how long you may need to keep your braces. Besides seeing great results, everyone at SmileOn is awesome!! Stephanie, their scheduling coordinator, always greets you with her brightest smile and brightens up your day with her energy. Doc Ak is professional, caring, and fun. He is definitely a perfectionist, so you don't need to worry if your teeth are good enough or not. All the chairside rockstars are great. They will make sure you feel the most comfortable and consistently check in to see if you are still doing okay. It's such an upbeat and fun environment that will make you excited to visit for your appointments. Their office is always clean and sanitized. They really put in the work to decorate and dress for holidays and celebrate patients getting their braces off. Spoiler alert: they give out candies when you get braces off!!! Hands down to the best orthodontist and staff on earth! I would give SmileOn 100 stars if it was even an option. I was referred to Doc Ak by Dr. Sura - my dentist at Reveal Dental next door. I needed to get my teeth straight since 2016 and went to another orthodontics office in Central Austin, but I didn't feel like I wanted to move forward with him. He wanted to pull my 4 wisdom teeth and my other 4 teeth out right in the beginning, which freaked me out. Growing up in a developing country and having terrible dental experience there has traumatized me until today. My life was completely changed when I visited Doc Ak. At my first consultation, everyone from Stephanie (scheduling coordinator) to Jennifer (treatment coordinator) was super nice. They gave me a warm and very welcoming feel at this office. After checking my awfully crooked teeth, Doc Ak immediately gave me a specific plan. One thing that sets Doc Ak so special compared to others is that he wants to keep as many natural teeth as possible. If it isn't necessary, he will not pull your teeth like others would decide to do right off the bat. I knew my jaw is small, so getting some teeth pulled might be a must. Doc Ak really put me at ease when he said he wanted to see how my mouth looked without getting anything pulled first. If it doesn't look good, we will talk about that possibility and get to it later. That gave me time to mentally prepared - who likes to get teeth pulled? Doc Ak explained everything thoroughly to me which was very easy to understand. It made my decision very easy. Doc Ak is also a perfectionist. He applies all possible methods to make sure you have the most beautiful and healthy smile, he will not allow you to get off your braces even if there's a hair away from being perfect. Trust his expertise and you will be super happy with your result. Office: Very nice and clean with simple yet pretty decor. Orange is his color which makes everything pop and look warm. Appointments: They're very on time, be respectful of their time and arrive a couple of minutes early. Staff: Every single chairside assistant is a rockstar. They're experts in what they do and they love their patients. Becca and Tina see me more often. MacKenzie made my anxiety go away before I got my teeth pulled. Jaylen is the most gentle and the sweetest girl. Stephanie always gives me a warm welcome every time I come in. The thing about Stephanie is she truly cares for the patients. She doesn't make small talks for the sake of making small talks. She remembers everything I share with her. I told her about my upcoming plans/travel and 2 months later she still remembered to ask me about it. She even remembers the little details about something I told her months ago. She's very accommodating and have our best interest at heart. I truly feel like home when I'm at this office. Activities: Doc Ak and his staff always come up with fun activities for their patients. There are monthly raffles if you wear their branded t-shirt to every visit and keep your teeth clean. When SmileOn celebrated 5 year anniversary, so Doc Ak invited all his patients to a party with great food, drinks, music, dancing, and lots of fun. Pricing: Doc Ak provides world-class treatment at an affordable cost. If you have good insurance that covers orthodontics treatment, it's a big help. Monthly payments are also good. SmileOn Orthodontics doesn't only provide you your treatment but also wonderful experience with amazing people. I highly recommend SmileOn Orthodontics for kids, teens, and adults for your orthodontics needs.

I can't rave enough about Smile On Orthodontics ! Every person there- Doc Ak, technicians, front desk- all provide a smooth and enjoyable experience. When we first started with Smile On, our daughter was terrified- screaming and crying before the process even began. So much so that they "provided" a safe room to provide her special attention and comfort. Here we are a few years later calmly getting her braces off. It has been a fun, enjoyable experience and Smile On has fully celebrated each step with her. We can't thank Doc Ak and staff enough for growing through this experience with us.

The receptionist that helped me was so friendly and helpful! Great first impression! Just made an appointment and will update after our visit. I never write reviews but she was so positive and helpful (not very common with receptionist now) that I had to!

I started treatment Dec 2020. Everytime I visited there I had great experience. My visit is about once every 2-3 weeks. The staff who take care of my teeth are nice , helpful , considerate , professional. They also help each other as I can tell. Sometimes my brackets were off likely due to some of my bad habits. It is not easy to put back the wire as it is challenging to place the new bracket in the exact place as the old one. The girls were patient and helped each other to make sure it is correct. Would like to thank Dr Ak and his staff Kristine, Delaney , Tiffany , Jaylan, Karlee . I might misspell the names or miss others who helped me sorry for that if that happens. The front desk staff Stephanie and Tracey are friendly , helpful , accommodating and know very well about their jobs. I quite often dropped by for elastic rings , floss or other stuff. They responded quickly and gave me what I needed. For those who I didn't interact that often, they could call my name when saw me. Given how many patients they have , that is impressive.

I had a really wonderful experience getting Invisalign at SmileOn. A couple of highlights: 1) I found Invisalign easy to use and I was amazed at the results. Follow Doc Ak's suggestions on when and how to use elastics and how frequently to change trays, and the process will be seamless. 2) I am amazed by this office's communication! You can text or call them anytime and you're never on hold. Everyone knew my name and everyone was super friendly and patient - it's as though everyone knew my specific case inside and out. 3) When I ran out of elastics, they mailed me two packs to my home. It's a little thing, but the convenience and thoughtfulness made a big difference to me. 4) It's clear that the staff wants you to be happy, and they'll do anything to ensure you're happy with the final results. They are happy people themselves and walking into the office was always a friendly, positive, happy experience. 5) I talked with many dentists, orthos, periodontists, and EVERYONE recommended Doc Ak as the top ortho in the Austin area. My experience is a testament to that. They were really, really wonderful. Now my whole family is getting treatment from them. Thank you for the terrific care and thoughtfulness!
