Dr. Parks graduated from Loma Linda School of dentistry in 1990 with a degree in general dentistry. After graduating he moved to Modesto, CA and worked for seven years. In 1997 he moved to Aztec and purchased the practice from Dr. Hendrickson.
Jennifer is a local of the area who worked as an assistant for Dr. Parks before going to hygiene school at San Juan College. After working in other offices in the area she came back to work with Dr. Parks. She's glad to be a part of the dental team serving her patients.

I came to Aztec NM for a vacation with my wife and kids in our RV. 3 days into our trip the tooth pain in 2 teeth starts to take over. I battled it for 2 days in hopes of making it back home to take care of them... the pain was so bad that my wife called around and found that many offices would not do anything or were still closed due to COVID-19. Called Smilemakers and they came in on their day off and truly helped get me out of pain and fixed my problem. They were very compassionate with me as I am not a fan of going to the dentist as I have hypersensitive teeth. Thank you Mr. & Mrs Parks. You truly were a blessing to me in my time of need. 5 Stars is not enough!

Dr Parks and Kelly made my first visit the best it could have possibly been. I'm incredibly anxious over any medical appointments but it all melted away the moment I walked into the lobby. The wonderful woman at the reception area, I didnt get her name boo, was welcoming, and answered all of my questions with a genuine response and smile. Love this place, looking forward to my visit next week! To top of my experience they even got me in before my emergency appointment later today because they had an opening. 5/5 would totally tell anyone to come here fa sho.

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a dentist!! Extremely nice staff, in and out (even though I was a new patient and NO pain. Such a good experience.
