Dr. Reza Beheshti (who is known as Dr. Reza) earned his advanced dental training at the University of Southern Californiawith high honors. He completed his post-graduate specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry from theUniversity of Maryland. Throughout his years of practice, Dr. Reza has been focused on providing the best and most pleasant dental experience for children by implementing different methods of behavior management. His practice philosophy is prevention and conservative treatment for all of North Bethesda and Silver Spring, MD.
Dr. Reza is happily married to his wife, Sheila, and they have a son, Sina. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Reza enjoys biking, playing tennis and racquetball, reading books, doing puzzles and traveling the world.
Dr. Singh grew up in Orlando, FL. She earned her Bachelor of Science at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. Upon graduating from college she attended LECOM School of Dental Medicine where she received her doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) degree. Following dental school, Dr. Singh completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program through NYU Langone Hospitals: Tampa, Florida Site. Dr. Singh goal is to create a welcoming, trustworthy and positive environment for your child in order to promote positive dental experiences for now and the future.
Dr. Karim Elrafei, born in Boston, MA, attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Upon graduating from college he attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he received his DDS. Dr. Elrafei practiced general dentistry for a number of years, most recently in Hyattsville, MD and downtown Baltimore at Health Care for the Homeless.
His training in Pediatric Dentistry was completed at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he served as Chief Resident. Residency offered him the great opportunity of treating children in underserved communities and those with special health care needs, as well as exposure to treatment under various forms of sedation.
Dr. Elrafei lives in Ellicott City, MD and spends his time enjoying various forms of science fiction with his younger brother; who is twice his size. In addition, he embarks on quests to explore exotic food with the rest of his family.
Dr. Zhao is originally from Brooklyn, New York. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she graduated summa cum laude with clinical honors in the care for the medically complex and community health. She went on to complete her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia University- New York Presbyterian, ranked one of the best hospitals in the nation. Dr. Zhao believes it is an immense privilege to care for a child and takes pride in providing the highest quality care to children and adolescents in a fun and compassionate environment. With her free time Dr. Zhao enjoys community outreach, personal fitness, and trying new restaurants.
