Dr. Jenny Cavanaugh & the smiLee team strive to create a fun and caring dental home for all children from birth, through the toddler years, childhood, and into their teenage years. Our goal is to educate children and inspire enthusiasm about the importance of dental health to create a solid foundation for a lifetime of healthy and beautiful smiles. Dr. Jenny prides herself in respecting each child as an individual and is dedicated to treating each child as her own.
Dr. Jenny is a dual-board certified pediatric dentist and orthodontist - one of only a handful in the country. After dental school, she completed 2 additional years of training specializing in pediatric dentistry and then 3 additional years of training specializing in orthodontics.
She has been practicing in private practice since 2013. With her extensive training and experience, we provide the highest level of specialty care for all of the dental and orthodontic needs for your child until they are fully grown.
Dr. Jenny completed dental school at the University of Pittsburgh, completed her pediatric dental residency at the University of Florida, and her orthodontic residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Jenny was born and raised in Pittsburgh and moved to SWFL in 2011. She lives in Ft. Myers with her husband Jim, and her children Jack and Lacey. Dr. Jenny and her family enjoy gardening, the beach, nature hikes, time with family and are avid foodies. We look forward to welcoming you and your family into the smiLee family.
Ana has been in the dental field since 2013. She started as dental receptionist followed by a sterilization technician and is currently a dental assistant. Ana is passionate in providing exceptional customer service in dentistry for children in a fun and inviting atmosphere, while ensuring both parent and child understand the importance of oral hygiene. When not at work, Ana loves to spend time with her kids doing engaging activities.
Cynthia was born and raised in our beautiful Sunshine State. She has several years of pediatric dental and orthodontic experience. She plans to grow in the field of dentistry and is currently studying pre-dentistry in college. She enjoys providing children with a rewarding experience in a positive environment. In her spare time, her favorite things to do are going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.
Shandi enjoys dedicating her time and energy to her passion - the field of dentistry. After her dental training, she began working as a sterilization technician and has now grown into the role of dental assistant. Shandi loves working with children and takes care of her many younger cousins. She enjoys sharing her patience and knowledge to provide professional and caring service to children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and doing exercise.
Veronica has been pursuing her career in dentistry since 2017. She has a great passion and enthusiasm for working with children and educating them on the importance of oral health. She excels at showing great patience. In Veronicas free time she likes being with family and friends, and traveling.
Victoria has a passion for working with children and enjoys brightening up their smiles and creating a fun and memorable dental experience. Victoria has two younger nephews, who she enjoys spending time with. Victoria has been in the dental field since 2017 and is dedicated to putting her dental skills to great use. In her free time, she enjoys going to Disney, spending time with family, and shopping!

They made both my kids feel so comfortable and explained everything they were going to do before they even did it. My kids seriously had a blast and can't wait to go back! I also love how they have their own dental plan that's affordable if you don't have dental insurance.

In the words of my 4 year old daughter, "momma I loved that place, they were so nice to us!" I would have so say I completely agree! Gaby went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations, making us feel SO welcome!! She answered my daughter's questions, and she really did an incredible job putting everyone at ease! My daughter is already looking forward to her next visit!

Gaby and Dr. Jenn are incredible! You can tell they love what they do, most kids fear the dentist but mine loved going to this office. I just moved out of Ft. Myers and this in one place it will be so hard to replace. Thank you for what you do!

What an amazing pediatric dentistry this is. I brought my grandson age11 for his very first visit to a dentist office and he was quite nervous. Staff was exceptional, especially Gaby. She was so patient with him taking x-rays, explaining everything to him, cleaning his teeth and letting him choose which flavor of toothpaste he wanted. I can't say more about the patience Gaby had with him. Thank you. Gaby Dr. Jenny came in and relaxed my grandson immediately she spoke in a soft voice a comforting voice and explained everything that needed to be done at his next visit. She was amazing with him. Thank you very much to everyone. We will see you in October for his next visit

Went to this dentist for my 3 year old to have work down I was a mess with him having to take out 2 teeth the lady that did my son's work was so sweet !!! I highly recommend this dentist to anyone and they are affordable !!!!

My daughter is almost 2. She had her first dental appointment here yesterday and I have to say that I am beyond impressed with the entire staff and the clean, beautiful office. So glad I took the time to do my research, read tons of reviews and chose this office for my little one. It's about 30 minutes from my home, but we'll worth the drive.
