After graduating high school in Jerusalem, Dr. Louis moved to Chicago at the age of 17 to embark on his dream of becoming a dentist. After earning his undergraduate degree at Loyola University and meeting his future wife Brittany Lane there, they both continued on to earn Doctorate Degrees in Dentistry from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Despite the rigors of his education, and the challenges of adapting to a new home, Dr. Louis found his dreams realized.
Dr. Louis decided to bring his vision, of creating a dental practice centered on providing patients with a fun, engaging welcoming experience, to Indianapolis. He and his wife enjoy dining, shopping, immersing themselves in the citys cultural offerings, and engaging with the local community. They also enjoy travelling and spending time with family. Dr. Louis is a car enthusiast who is also passionate about soccer. One may even catch him passionately watching international matches especially ones including Barcelona, his favorite team. Dr. Louis and Brittany call Indianapolis home. They are very proud to serve the people of Indianapolis and cater to all of their dental needs.
Dr. Louis prides himself in always staying abreast of the latest clinical and technical evidence based advancements in dentistry. Dr. Louis regularly attends domestic and international continued dental educational courses to remain knowledgeable and to gain new and current resources to deliver the best treatment for his patients.

My teenagers and I are patients at Smilecentric and we are very pleased with the services provided. Their services range from routine cleanings, Invisalign consultation and placement, and I recently brought my son for wisdom teeth extractions. The staff is friendly and professional and the front desk ladies always find a way to accommodate appointments around my busy schedule.

Quick and easy visit for cleaning. Dental hygienist was super nice and friendly. Didn't see the dentist today but all past experiences with him have been great -- he's very social and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this place!

Came in for my an implant. All the staff were great. Was a little nervous going into it. Procedure was probably one of the smoothest I have ever had done. Felt no pain whatsoever. Dr. Abukhalaf was great. Highly recommend him for any dental work.

This is hands down the best dentist around, I came in as a walk-in moment's before their last surgery of the day and they went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was taken care of...From the wonderful ladies at the front desk to the staff in the back, they're all the best at what they do..Even when I had problems with my insurance they made sure the problem was corrected and both teeth came out nice and easy...If I could only give them(5 more) stars...lbvvs

During Covid, I lost my job and my husband was furloughed from his. After 30 years of working, we found ourselves applying for unemployment for the first time in our lives, and reliant on Medicaid. Our family dentist would not lower his prices as a one time courtesy for all the years of our being faithful customers, and he would not accept Anthem via Medicaid. We reluctantly had to make a change in providers. The first dentist we chose was incompetent: did a procedure on my husband incorrectly resulting in a lot of pain. Dr. Louis Abukhalaf accepted our insurance, fixed my husband's problem (root canal), and removed my son's 4 wisdom teeth (so expertly that his recovery was amazingly easy and fast). The SmileCentric team did our regular cleanings and were angels! The front office staff was more than accommodating; they were professional, understanding, knowledgeable, expedient, friendly and genuinely nice! We loved that all the equipment & processes in SmileCentric's office was (is)top of the line, state-of-the-art technology, and each staff member is warm and cordial and really caring towards all patients. Now that my husband and I are both back at work and on private insurance through our employers, we will not be going back to our former dentist. Dr. Louis and his team have made it impossible! We are so grateful to everyone at SmileCentric for the good care; and for accepting us when we were going through a tough time! With confidence, I highly recommend you give this dentist & his team a try!!!

Very clean office. Everyone is really nice and helpful. Dr. Louis Abukhalaf is great. He's great to talk to and explains things in detail. I've seen many dentists during the past 50 years and there's no one I trust more than him. You can tell he really cares about his patients and doing what's right for them.

Dr Louis is well trained and produces amazing results. I have trust issues with dentists but heard of him thru fellow coworkers that said he's good at what he does .... I came to his office with severe pain on the lower right side of my jaw, he took one look at it and recomended a root canal. I came back for the root canal-- after a couple of weeks of antibiotics thinking it was going to be painful and preparing myself for it... but I felt no pain during the procedure and was finished before I knew it. Wow!! Absolutely painless. Two and a half weeks later I went back for my crown. It dropped right into place & once again Dr. Louis made it quick, easy, and painless!!! If you're hesitating at all like I was, don't! Go see him today because his work is fantastic and you will feel much better. He genuinely enoys his work!

What an amazing place, doctor Lewis and his team go above and beyond to meet your needs. My teeth have been through a lot in my past and they straighten them with Invisalign and even help me with a gap I had afterward. 1 out of 10, I give smilecentric a 10 on amazing customer service and miracles they can create. They truly care! They worked well with my adult child who is "On The Spectrum", ensuring that she was comfortable every step of the way, pausing when she was uncomfortable, and waiting until she was ready. Also, received a 'goody bag' with floss, toothpaste, and a toothbrush. BEST experience with a dentist visit ever! Highly recommend!

Loved the Service. Everyone, is very nice, and kind. They are very thorough, about your procedure, and will educate you about what is going to happen moving forward. I highly recommend. Dr. Louis is Brilliant! His staff is Amazing. These folks treat people like they are supposed to be treated. They listen and your service will be exactly what you wanted. I highly recommend!!

Dr. Louis and his staff are the real deal. They understand the anxiety you may be feeling and do everything to make you feel comfortable. I had full upper and lower implants installed - on a pretty tight deadline. My wife wanted me to have teeth for a bucket list trip to Maui - imagine that. Dr. Louis pulled every string he could with the Lab to make it happen. My package arrived May 3 and installed May 4. I was leaving May 7. During the process I heard several times from Monica and Nicole and even Dr. Louis himself. I am forever grateful and I look forward to future visits with this group - they not only make me smile, but created my smile! Dr. Louis himself is not only a confident dentist/surgeon but is also an intelligent, witty guy who likes to joke around and have some fun. This put me at ease.
