I enjoyed the bedside manner and professionalism of these guys. I had to have a tooth pulled a couple years ago which is so scary and the dentist's manner made it better. He got the procedure done thoroughly and quickly.

Very kind and caring office. They saw me on an emergency case basis while I was traveling for work. They took extra steps to correct my insurance and made sure I was taken care of.

The doctor and hygienist did a great job. I was very happy as they did all my work in one visit. The front office was welcoming and the assistants were super nice. The parking was a bit crowded, wish they could have assigned patient spots. Go to dr. A and lion.

They were, very friendly, And helpful.. The doctor explained, what was going on..And what they had to do.. Concerned they did, what they had to do..To save my health and teeth..Very thankful,to the whole team... Thanks Joey..Oh yeah Leon,I'll take you. This is the best dental office ever! The whole staff is wonderful, and nice. If you have any anxiety at all about dentists, just tell them. They will do all they can to put you at ease. 10 stars!

I would like to say that Smilecare in mission valley dental office has the best customer service. Starting with the dentist, dr khan askarzoi, is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and wants you to be happy when you leave. As for the staff, Leon, the hygienist is an intelligent man who you will know personally when you come into the office, because he doesn't forget names. The dental assistants, Sandra and Anna, are thoughtful with good customer service before and after the session with dentist. Lastly, Jannette, the office manager, she is magical with a payment plan or will handle it with your insurance without you not having to do a thing. Moreover, their ortho department is the best as well. Lydia Tirado, a happy client.

My family and I have been going to Smilecare for years, both for dental and orthodontics. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The oral hygienist is gentle and puts you at ease right away. I feel they are honest and trustworthy. Staff is very accomodating and goes out of there way to schedule an appointment you might need in a hurry.

Dr. A, Ana, Leon and the rest of the staff could not have been more friendly or thorough. I never felt rushed. They spent time to make sure all my needs were addressed and were flexible when I needed to change my follow up appointment. It's hard to find this kind of service these days. Thank you!

The staff knows how to make you feel at home .I'm a cross country truck driver, only in town about ever 30 days .thay set up my visits to meet my schedule. THE BEST!! THANK YOU SMILE CARE!!!!

My family have gone to Leon for years to get their teeth cleaned. It's not just that he's remarkably gentle and thorough, he also cares. He keeps an eye out for anything concerning and always answers questions knowledgeably. (My wife says Leon cares about her teeth almost as much as she does!) Actually, all the people who work at this Smilecare office have been unfailingly kind and friendly.

They do everything to get as much money from their patients as possible. When having my wisdom tooth removed they first took 20 pictures of my jaw even though I only was in need to remove one. I then was told I'd have to wait up to 3 months because of my insurance. Every time I called to see if they heard anything from my insurance they said no. After 3 months I just called my insurance which said that they approved it months ago, but they declined to pay for my other two wisdom teeth THAT I NEVER WANTED TO GET REMOVED. fast forward to date of surgery: receptionist tells me I need to get anestesia so I sleep through it since it's such a big procedure. Apparently I'm scheduled to have THREE TEETH removed even though I've said no to it multiple times. They call my insurance and yes indeed only one tooth is agreed upon. When I'm called up to pay they say I'm gonna need a bone replacement for 600 that's not covered by my insurance. NO NEED for a bone replacement since there's no special circumstances around it - it hasn't damaged another tooth or have roots to close to my jawbone. Just try ripping you off at every cost. I rejected the bone replacement, but I'm honestly very nervous about this procedure. Don't go here. One positive thing I will say is that several of their employees are super friendly.

I had a toothache, so I went for diagnosing, they told its issue with your wisdom tooth, so it needs to be extracted, I gave consent for that. The doctor told me, while you are here, let's remove some microcavity, which is covered by your co-payment and insurance, I said as long as I don't have to pay extra, they assured me it was covered, and they verified with insurance. So, later once all the procedure was done, after six months, I received notice from my credit monitoring service that I have the collection on my account. So when I reached out to the dental office, first they told me my insurance was downgraded, when I reached out to my insurance company, they told they never received any call for authorization for the cavity. So basically, Cost dental (Smile care) did fraud with me, did the procedure, was not needed, then trick me with the bill, by saying its covered by insurance and then reported to as collections to the credit agency. When I said where did you send the bill, they told me on my previous address, however, they have my email on file and every few days they send me the reminder that I need a cleaning, but never send me the reminder that there might be a bill pending, which they screw up. Collection agency never calls or send an email about any pending bills. These people are thieves and bandits, its clear case of medical malpractice Thank you Regards, Axay Sayania

I had a great experience at the office. The doctor and hygienist took care of me right away, the hygienist helped me get my teeth shiny and crystal cleaned. I highly recommend this dental office, everyone is GREAT.

Background; was there Fri6th for a second opinion on another dentist's diagnosis. The "beautiful" people at the front desk took the cake by being very social, nice and professional; they contacted the insuranceCo in reference to second opinions. The insCo started giving them and myself all sorts of requirements and loops to jump thru ....'til Dr. Askarzoi came into the picture. Dr. "awesome" just made the decision -right then and there- to see us immediately and without any insCo reqs. The DMD took the time to explain to us in detail what we wanted to know. I wish we were clients for that particular great dentist office -lucky the ones that attend this office.
