Dr. Hasanain Alani graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, then from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S). Dr. Alani then completed a General Practice Residency program at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center (Detroit, MI) where he focused on delivering care to the veteran's community. The patient family Dr. Alani treated was medically complex and that put his knowledge in general and oral medicine into use and trained him to manage medical emergencies. During his training, Dr. Alani used the latest technologies to provide quality care in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Implant placement and restoration, prosthodontics, periodontics, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Alani served in the National Leadership of the Council of Students, Residents & Fellows at the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) as well as a member of the House of Delegates. His affiliation with ADEA included attending several national meetings and presenting his own research projects. During that time, Dr. Alani completed the Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program (ADCFP) through fulfilling research requirements and active mentoring for faculty.
Dr. Alani provides patient-centered care that is respectful of, and responsive to, individual patient preferences, needs and values, and ensuring that patient values guide all clinical decisions. Following his philosophy of care, Dr. Alani will present you with a treatment plan that will be thoroughly explained and discussed with providing alternatives if available.

I have had the best experience with the professional team at Smile Zone Monroe Michigan! I have had major dental work from tooth extractions and fillings with pain free results! Dr Ayoub is the best Dr and person! Be very respectful of your needs and wants and has a great bedside attitude! I had such a wonderful experience at smilezone dental. Dr ayoub is so gentle and could not even feel my extractions. His assistant Jackie is so friendly and made my appointment so comfortable. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone

This place was once owned by Dr. Petronas, and he accepted Medicare, which is what built the practice. But these new owners: immediately upon purchase discharged all of their Medicare patients, unless they are able to pay cash. Way to look out for the community.. this place is now not recommended by me to anyone, because the poor people that the practice was built upon have all been discharged, or have to go elsewhere because they don't accept the insurance.

Unfortunately I have experienced some bad customer service, dentist who were rough / aggressive on my teeth. At smile zone I definitely felt the hospitality here. Highly recommend. The Dental Assistant- Jackie did a wonderful job of telling me exactly what shes doing and why she's doing it. Very informative. Great overall experience

I have had the pleasure to be treated by both Dr. Ayoub and Dr. Dabaja. Both are super kind and professional, as well as all of the staff I have interacted with. I've jumped around to different dentists for many years, but have found my permanent dentists here!

I just left Dr. Ayoub and the very kind staff of Smile Zone Dental after an involved molar extraction. There are few things worse than a bad experience at the dentist's office, and yet, I must commend the personnel at the Monroe, Michigan location for exceptional patient care. All things considered, I knew I was in capable & kind hands. From Christy at the front desk to the good Doctor himself, my every question was answered and I was well taken care of. I'll go back in just over a week for my follow up visit ( the procedure I had was unexpectedly involved ) and will truly look forward to it.

Beware , Went there for a cleaning and they only took xrays and a periodontal count no cleaning and no complimentary toothbrush, toothpaste or floss. This is not a new building either. The technician was very snotty I will never come back. They only want to Bill your insurance and you for services that you didn't come in for.

Highly recommend. Dr.Ayoub was very professional and friendly. He answered all questions I had in regards to my treatments for cavities. Staff was very helpful in scheduling appointments for further visits. Clinic was also very clean and organized.

I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a dentist! The doctor is extremely gentle and made sure I was okay the entire time they were working on me. All of the dental staff were very friendly and so welcoming. I had such a wonderful experience and will be coming back!!!

The staff are very kind and considerate. I really like that they numb you a little before fully numbing you especially, it makes it hurt a lot less! The dentist is also very thorough, he takes a bit longer because of it but it's worth it in my opinion! Great service :)
