I may be here to have my mouth messed with but I have never met such a heart-warming staff. Not only do they keep me updated, they know me on a personal basis and take extra time to make sure my procedure is going well and that I'm taken care of. Dr. Bolus is a rockstar and his front desk crew always have me leaving with a smile. 11/10 review

It has been several years since I've been to see a dentist-mainly due to fear. I cannot say enough about Ideal Dental in Cedar Hill that expresses how easy they made my entire process. From calling with questions until checking out after my appointment everyone was wonderful. They explained pricing and procedures, did a thorough exam and did so painlessly. The Dental Technician put me at ease and by the time I saw the dentist, I was no longer fearful. For anyone putting off a dental appointment, there's no reason to wait. This Ideal Dental location is the place to contact. And this comes from someone who has been frightened of the dentist my entire life. Give them a call- it's worth it.

On September/14/2022 I had a 7:20 am appointment for to have 2 wisdom teeth pulled. Dr.Selkin was very hostile and disrespectful to me. I really felt unsafe after he followed me from a exam room to the front desk telling Seteria the office manager to pretty much make me leave in disenroll me. The doctor behavior was inappropriate and he was acting erratic in front of patients and employees. I asked Dr. Selkin several times to leave me alone I was done talking to him and go treat his patients he continued to shout he gonna call the owner to have me not allowed at the dental anymore pretty much. This was really really a uncomfortable experience. I had Seteria call her supervisor Maria Garcia whom took my statement and got a verification from Seteria this incident did occur. I asked Seteria to documents the incident. I called corporate to get Derrick Chadwick notified. I was denied services for no reason. Dr. Selkin was acting as if he was under the influence. This behavior should not be tolerated and patients should not be tolerated I was antagonized, threatened,intimidated and denied treatment out of harassment and discrimination by Dr.Selkin

Yesterday I went to the dentist. He said he was still able to save my tooth. Pain and little swelling. I'ma prior gastric bypass patient and due to the surgery is not able to take ibuprofen or aspirin. The dentist advised he was needing to call in pain medicine and we discussed that I couldn't take ibuprofen. The doctor mentioned the prescription was getting called in as he was working out the numbers for the pain medication with the pharmacist on the phone. Called the pharmacy they said they never spoke with anyone. Called the dentist this morning the receptionist told me the Ibuprofen won't be available until later this afternoon. I told them I can't take the medication and explained the reason why. Just earlier this year I had surgery to my stomach and intestines for issues why should a patient be prescribed medications they aren't supposed to take to cause more issues. I asked the receptionist to speak with Dr Davis( I really like this dentist as he is very nice with patients). The receptionist said the dentist said I won't need any pain medication. I already have swelling on the left side and should've had antibiotics. After this I had to cancel my appointment. At this point I'm not feeling comfortable moving forward and have to proceed with a new dentist. How you are first say pain medication is needed which is true but not none is needed. All they have to do is look at the patent profile and see what they have prescribed in the pass and medication issues. Not happy with the services at all.

This company has went downhill. The constant changing of the policy and staffing has me at my wits end. They were so much better when it was smiles workshop! I wouldn't recommend the new company at all.

Really considering changing dentists for my kids. Came for routine checkup in January for my son and dentist recommended him have his wisdom teeth pulled. I was not in agreement but my son is 16 and said it would be fine. Came to the dentist for the procedure and they had me sign all paperwork saying everything was covered with Medicaid and turned out it wasn't. The sedation is Not covered! They did not even submit the claim to Medicaid until the day after so that left a bill on my son's account. Fast forward to today and went ahead and scheduled his routine cleaning, called first about the bill and was informed it had been written off. I explained my concerns again and was told they know with Medicaid the sedation is not covered so that makes me question how they are just throwing sercices out there knowing with Medicaid specifically, it's not covered. Deception. Here today for an appointment that was scheduled for 12 noon and they called and text 17 times to confirm we will be here and still haven't been called back and it's about to be 1:00, a whole hour to wait and they don't even have complimentary water to offer! MINT DENTISTRY WOULD NEVER! Time to make the switch !!

My experience has been good until today when my appointment was cancelled 15minutes to my appointment time. This is after i had taken time off from work, and picked my son up from school and was on my way to my appointment. Reason for cancellation is that the crown was not ready and my son has the same first and last name and appointment date as another patient who happened to have the same appointment date as my son. What a coincidence. I am disappointed because, the day before my appointment i was called to confirm the appointment. Why didn't the office confirm if the resources needed will be available before calling me and confirming my appointment? This was a waste of my time and PTO days. Next time please give me a checklist so i can read it out to you guys and confirm everything is in place before i confirm my availability for the appointment. Please do your due diligence before calling and confirming appointments. Thanks

The staff was friendly, courteous and very knowledgable. The office was clean and sanitary. I felt very comfortable and at ease. I would recommend "Ideal Dental" to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

Everyone is so sweet at Ideal Dentistry in Cedar Hill. They are quick, efficient and Kind. They always make me laugh with their cute comments. And their efficiency is fabulous. You Can trust them with your Teeth.

All my children have come here for years and I am never unhappy with the services. Love them. Everyone is friendly. My kids range from 1-15, 5 total...I'm very satisfied with their care.
