Dr. Andrea Manns love of working with kids and science led her on the path to the best career ever, that of a pediatric dentist! From a young age, she has always been an avid reader and enjoyed hands-on arts, particularly ceramics, and caring for children so becoming a pediatric dentist was a perfect way to combine all of those passions into one!
She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004, and completed her two year Pediatric Dentist Specialty training program at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York in 2006. Dedicated to pursuing excellence, she became a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist in 2008. In 2013, she opened Smile Works Pediatric Dentistry, her very own laser dentistry practice in Basking Ridge, New Jersey!
Dr. Mann serves as an Attending Doctor at Morristown Memorial Hospital, where she enjoys teaching pediatric dentistry to general dental residents. She hosts fun annual events for families, including a patient appreciation magic show, and has donated hundreds of pounds of candy through her Halloween Candy Buy Back Program. She also teaches children about keeping teeth healthy in school, daycare, and library settings.

Wonderful caring and qualified dental practice with an excellent staff. Dr. Mann has been treating my son, who has special needs, for over 5 years. I would not take him anywhere else. She and her staff are kind and compassionate and extremely qualified. Highly recommend.

We had a dental emergency with our 6 year old and Dr. Mann was terrific. Not only did she call us back immediately (on a Saturday night) she rushed in to the office and met us within 30 minutes of calling. She was kind and calm and made my son feel so safe and cared for. He is back smiling because of her! Thank you Dr. Mann you are the best !

Words can not express how pleased I am with our visit yesterday. We had appointments with Leah and then saw Dr. Mann. Leah was absolutely amazing with them, and of course Dr. Mann was a well! As a kid I hated the dentist, and I still do; to see my kids excited about going to the dentist and wanting to go back, fills my heart. Thank you for all you do to make going to the dentist fun and painless, this mama appreciates all of you!

Smileworks is an answer to our prayers. We first went to Dr. Mann when our son was three weeks old for a tongue tie procedure and have been going ever since. The loving care she showed my son at such a young age and the way she made herself available even after the procedure for followup was so helpful for a new first time mom! If Dr. Mann isn't amazing enough her staff is so pleasant and friendly making each visit one we look forward to. The fact that when I tell my son who is on the autism spectrum we are going to the dentist and he's excited says alot! He has come a long way and I thank Dr. Mann and her staff for making one part of our journey as parents a breeze. You won't regret choosing her!

Probably the best dental practice I've ever been to. The staff is very friendly, caring and professional. I'm normally very uneasy about going to the dentist but this location has made me feel comfortable. They take their time to explain everything and are more than happy to answer all of my questions.

Dr. Mann is the absolute best pediatric dentist. She is truly gifted. My daughter had two teeth extracted and I wasn't even sure anyone would be able to get it done because she is so petrified. Dr. Mann instantly put her at ease. My daughter was comfortable in her office and throughout the entire procedure. She even bragged to her sister afterward that it was a piece of cake!

5 huge stars for Smileworks Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Andrea Mann and her staff go above and beyond to make going to the dentist a comfortable, calm and enjoyable experience for kids and their parents. The office is inviting, fun for kids and has top of the line equipment. Dr. Mann is knowledgeable, honest and has the best "chair side" manner. My kids have always felt at ease with her working on them and as a parent, I know I can always trust her opinion and expertise. Going to the dentist is not something most would consider "fun," but the SmileWorks experience with Dr Mann and her staff is the closest you will ever come. Don't hesitate to take your children here for all of their dentistry needs. The high rating is not inflated. They really are just THAT good.

Dr. Mann and her staff are so kind and caring. No matter how busy she is, Dr. Mann always answers all of my questions and alleviates any doubts or concerns I have. I was nervous to take the kids for their regular check ups this year due to COVID, but the staff made it so easy and the extra steps taken for the screening and precautions to ensure the kids were safe was very reassuring. Most importantly, my kids ( 10 and 3) always feel at ease during checkups and treatments. Dr. Mann and her staff make sure of that!

Can't speak highly enough of Dr Mann and her team. My 5 y/o daughter needed some rather involved treatment including an extraction and spacer and a few other touch ups. The process went more smoothly than I could have ever hoped for, and my daughter is anxious to get back. Their use of rewards and distractions are just what was required to take fear out of the equation. Dr Mann's ability to explain everything clearly and concisely was much appreciated. Doctors often fall short on praise that is well deserved -- mostly because people take the time to complain, but seldom take the time and effort to give credit where it is due. Dr. Mann and her staff, however, are so utterly deserving! She is one of the most caring, professional and dedicated medical professionals i have ever had the pleasure of interacting with, both as a mom of two girls (who LOVE visiting her every time!) And as a fellow Healthcare provider, who just knows she does it all the "right" way. There is simply nothing bad to say. She is attentive, takes the time to make your kids and their parents completely comfortable, and clearly loves what she does, and does what she loves. What else can one ask for? Recommend without reservation.

Amazing bedside manner with both her patients (the children/babies) as well as their parents. She is incredibly skilled and very ethical. The staff are thorough and caring. What a great experience we had today at Smile Works! My daughter (11) had to have a permanent tooth pulled as well as a few other things. Dr. Mann and her staff were amazing. My daughter was completely at ease watching Netflix while getting her dental work done painlessly. Dr.Mann has a great way with children and is very informative to parents. The office is immaculately clean, bright and cheerful. I couldn't be happier with our decision to switch our children to Smile Works. Definitely 5 stars
