Dr. Farukhi has been practicing dentistry since 2006. She has volunteered her time to be involved with the Meals-on-Wheels program for the elderly, Give Kids a Smile, and Humanitarian Day (feeding the homeless on holidays). Dr. Farukhi has published her first childrens book on orthodontics and likes to spend her free time writing.
As my patient, you can expect to be treated with the respect and familiarity befitting a doctor who truly cares about her patients. All of my patients are individuals with personalities and traits I look forward to working with. Orthodontics is more than just fixing teeth; it is about understanding each person and giving them a way to smile through whatever life may throw at them.

Efficient, caring and professional doctor and staff. My implant work was very complicated due to poor bone quality but Dr. Haider handled it with utmost expertise and patience. My final delivery is awesomely comfortable and useful. Now I can eat every food with confidence and comfort.

Went to get my wisdom teeth extracted today. Dr. Haider was amazing and did a wonderful job. I am extremely happy with all of the professional staff and the results. I plan to go here from now on for all of my dental and orthodontics needs going forward and I would recommend them very highly.

The entire staff at SmileWorks is incredible! They were personable, kind, and informative. They didn't push anything, just suggested what was necessary and best for my health. I highly recommend their office!

I reacently had 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and the the healing process afterwards was quick and painless without the need to take all of my medication. Dr. Haider also did an amazing job with my filling that it's unnoticable. Thank you all so much!

I took my dad to get his new dentures done at Smile Works Dentistry for the first time. Dr. Haider is nice, kind and very professional. He absolutely knows what he is doing. I'm so glad to have him helping my dad. We're very happy with him and his service. His assistant Bashar is also very helpful. I would recommend everyone to see him.

I was in Orange County for work and happen to stumble upon Smile Works Dentistry. I recently had some work done in San Francisco but was not really satisfied. My teeth were quite sensitive, I was overdue for a cleaning, and I have also been dealing with bad breath issues for quite some time (embarrassing but true). Since the practice is new, I figured maybe I can just get a quick appointment. To my luck, I was able to see Dr. Haider and I could not have made a better decision. Dr. Haider was extremely thorough with my teeth cleaning and explained in great detail everything he was doing. I have probably gone through dozens of teeth cleaning and this was hands down the best teeth cleaning I have had. I was actually able to see clear a difference in just an hour. Dr. Haider was also very gentle and the pain was negligible. Dr. Haider also explained that the deep plaque and build up in my gums was actually contributing to the bad breath and told me about some strange sounding bacteria. The cleaning, along with some new mouthwash and tooth brush has greatly improved my breath :) I also wanted a teeth whitening but after examining my condition and due to some sensitive teeth, Dr. Haider advised against it as it may make some teeth more sensitive. I am so glad I walked into this practice. I will probably come to schedule my next work/family trip so that both my wife and I can become patients with Dr. Haider. It is very difficult to find doctors who truly care for their patients, spend the necessary time, and are honest.

I went there for an ortho consultation. Dr Faruki and his assistant Brenda were amazing. Definitely the best orthodontic office in lake forest. Highly recommend it

I am 31 years old and had been thinking about getting braces for many years. I had gotten consultations from a few different orthodontists, but never felt comfortable to start my treatment with any of them, till now. Recently one of my friends highly recommended Dr.Farukhi to me, but I was reluctant to go as I live in San Diego and was dreaded the commute. Let me just say, I am SO SO thankful I decided to commit to the occasional drive and pay her a visit! Dr. Farukhi was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, I felt completely calm and relaxed. It was so refreshing to go to a dental office where everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was so cordial and approachable. Dr. Farukhi's passion for her work shows in everything she does. She patiently explained the whole process in detail and was super efficient yet gentle in putting my braces on. I never thought I would say this about braces - but I absolutely LOVE the ones she put on me. Her practice carries the latest, best quality, and trendiest braces - I got clear ones on top (which you can barely notice) and white gold ones on bottom (which look like platinum and are so elegant). My smile already looks so much better that I can't wait to show off my pretty braces smile to everyone! I highly recommend getting your ortho work done from her. She is a great orthodontist, super personable, and a through professional in her field. She also has a great fan following from her younger patients. As a way of relating to them, she even wrote a novel, "The Wirebender" which puts a magical spin on the experience of getting braces as a kid. All I can say is that, after getting my treatment from Dr.Farukhi, my experience has been nothing short of magical!
