We are dedicated to helping youcreate thesmile you desire. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff is here to put your mind at ease and answer any questions you may have about your treatment options. Contact us to get started on yournew, healthy smile.

At Smile Village Dental Care, we take your dental health seriously. For patients with normal, healthy gums, we offer regular dental cleanings at your initial comprehensive examination and twice a year. However, approximately one out of everytwo adults has periodontal disease. Early detection is very important. Starting at age 18, periodontal pocket or gum measurements will be taken to access the health of your gums. If evidence of periodontal disease is found, our dentists will guide you through the necessary treatment needed to get you to your optimal dental health.

Clear aligners are the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces. A series of clear removable aligners are used to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Every six weeks, you will be seen by your dentist to evaluate tooth movement and to receive your next three sets of trays. The average treatment time ranges from 9-18 months depending on individual needs. At the end of your treatment, retainers will be made to maintain your results for years to come.

Composite or tooth-colored fillings are a metal free alternative to amalgam silver fillings. Composite fillings contain no mercury and are made from resins that are matched to your tooths color. They become invisible when applied giving a great natural, cosmetic result. Whether you need an initial filling or to replace your silver fillings, we can assist you in obtaining the smile you desire.

Good oral hygiene will keep your teeth looking clean and shiny. However, the health of your teeth and gums isessential for the health of your entire body. Poor oral hygiene can lead to gum disease, infection, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. The American Dental Association recommends you see the dentist for a checkup at least twice a year. It is also important to have your comprehensive examination in order to prevent cavities or manage them early. Untreated dental cavities lead to more extensive, costly treatment, and possible tooth loss. Here at Smile Village Dental Care,we will perform a thorough comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums. Also, as a part of your comprehensive dental exam, an oral cancer screening will be performed. We will guide you through your treatment plan and assist you with achieving dental health.

Night guards are removable dental appliances carefully molded to fit the upper or lower arches of teeth. They are used to protect your teeth and restoration surfaces from nocturnal (nighttime) clenching & grinding as well as manage jaw dysfunction (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder). People prone to TMJ disorders may benefit from an occlusal splint. Occlusal splints (night guards) are typically made of a heat-cured acrylic resin. In order to fabricate a night guard, a mold will be taken of your teeth and sent to a dentallab. A custom fit night guard will be made and delivered to you. Maintenance and care instructions will be provided. We arehappy to discuss if a night guard is the appropriate therapy for you.

At the center of your tooth is pulp. Pulp is a collection of blood vessels that helps to build the surrounding tooth. Infection of the pulp can be caused by trauma to the tooth, deep decay, cracks and chips, or repeated dental procedures. Symptoms of the infection can be identified as visible injury or swelling of the tooth, sensitivity to temperature, or pain in the tooth and gums. One of our dentists will evaluate you to determine if root canal therapy is needed. Root canals are performed under local anesthetic. Sedation alternatives are provided as needed. Usually, a crown will be needed following root canal therapy. We are aware of the dental fear associated with root canals. Our dentists are dedicated to providing a pain-free, comfortable experience for their patients.

Dentures: At times, it is necessary for all teeth to be removed either due to severe periodontal disease or extensive cavities. One option when replacing all teeth in an arch is an upper and/or lower denture. Dentures mainly gain support from your gums; however, implants can be placed to help support and retain your denture. Throughout life, dentures will require adjustments, relines, and replacement due to bone resorption, which will cause the denture to loosen. We will guide you through your treatment in order to makethe transition comfortable.

Partials: If you have several missing teeth, a removable partial denture may be indicated. A removable partial denture is designed specifically to meet the needs of the patient and can replace one or more missing teeth. Partials restore a natural appearance, speech clarity, andthe ability to eat more efficiently.A removable partial denture will also help limit movement of your existing natural teeth.

There are a couple of options when making a removable partial denture. Partial dentures can be created outof metal and acrylic composition or out of a flexible base acrylic. A patients specific needs and anatomy dictate the design of the partial denture and every effort is made to construct a self-cleansing partial denture that preserves the remaining teeth and oral tissues. Whether you are in need of your first partial or you need to replace an existing one,our dentistswill gladly consult with you to determine the appropriate partial for you.

Fixed Partial Denture (Bridge): One or more missing teeth can have a serious effect on your smile and dental health. Specifically, missing teeth can cause a shift in the alignment of your teeth, causing Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ), and loss of the teeth around the space. Dental bridges are used to replace a missing tooth and are supported by the teeth on either side, which arecalled abutment teeth. A dental bridge will improve your ability to chew and speak as well as enhance your smile. Like crowns,1-2 mm of tooth structure is removed from the abutment teeth and an impression is then made of the remaining tooth structure. That impression is sent to the lab in order to fabricate your bridge. A temporary bridge is placed on your teeth until your bridge returns from the lab. Radiographs are taken prior to permanent cementation of your bridge to ensure a proper fit. We are happy to consult with you to determine if you are a good candidate for a dental bridge.

Implants: Dental implants are an excellent alternative to a dental bridge. Because implant crowns have a predictable long-term prognosis and do not require alteration of the neighboring teeth, they are considered the standard of care in treating missing teeth. Replacing a missing tooth not only improves the appearance of your smile, but it also restores the function of that tooth. If you have a tooth that needs to be extracted or have previously lost a tooth, wemay suggest replacing it with a dental implant and supporting crown. Dental implants look, feel, and function like your natural teeth. There are several steps in replacing a missing tooth with an implant. First, the implant or screw form is placed in the area of the missing tooth. An implant serves as the artificial root. The implant must heal for approximately 3-4 months before it is ready for the implant crown. At that time, we will place the implant abutment on the tooth. The abutment is a part that attaches to the implant. An impression is taken of the abutment which is sent to the lab for fabrication of your abutment crown. With proper care, dental implant crowns are an excellent long-term solution for missing teeth. They are more conservative than a traditional bridge, help prevent bone loss in the area of the missing tooth, and restore your ability to chew properly. If you have a non-restorable or missing tooth,we will consult with you about your implant options.

Porcelain veneers are an ideal choice for improving your smile. They are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front surfaces of the teeth. When bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea, or even cigarette stains.Regarding strength and appearance, their resemblance to healthy, white tooth enamel is unsurpassed by other restorative options. With proper care, porcelain veneers will brighten your smile for well over a decade. To prolong their life, refrain from using your veneers as tools to open and cut things. If accidental breakage or damage occurs, it is usually possible to replace only the affected veneer.

Out of pocket cost were MUCH higher than my prior experiences elsewhere. Lots of repetitive information. No a great overall experience. Still looking for the right dental fit. But this was not it for me. Never heard of a 3 hour dental cleaning! SMH...

Probably the best dental visit I've ever had. I have had Ortho and lots of dental work and this office is first class. Everyone I came into contact with was completely engaged in the conversation, friendly, and thorough. Lots of pictures and x-rays were taken to give a complete picture which I appreciate because I don't always remember my concerns until I see the image. The team made me feel heard and really cared about my comfort throughout the visit. So glad to find this place and start my path to the perfect smile both aesthetically and structurally.

Had to get my wisdom tooth out. To say I was dreading it is putting it lightly. The numbing was the most uncomfortable and it was just a little sting.after I was numb Dr. Davis was done in a couple of minutes. Best dental experience ever!

I had received a bill in the mail for a "missed appointment." I called the office and spoke with the office manager, Brenda. I explained to her that I was willing to pay this bill but was not happy about doing it and why. Without any hesitation, Brenda replied saying don't worry about it. I'll take care of this for you and send you a copy via email. I won't get into the details of the bill other than it was due to a miss communication. Thank you Brenda! Oh yeah, and they have great customer service and do great dental work! I would highly recommend Smile Village Dental Care to anyone!

Classy environment. Everything is 1st Class, equipment, etc. Dr. Davis was able to fix my son's teeth after a major accident, making it look better than it was before the accident. He loved being able to watch a movie while being serviced. Her bedside manners were second to none.

My wife had been pushing me to see a dentist since I had not been in about 10 years. After a traumatic experience at a previous dental office I had resolved that I would not go back to see a dentist again, but I am so glad I took a leap of faith. I was initially very nervous but after the first few minutes in the chair I felt very comfortable. It was nice that it was fully explained to me what each step would be during the visit so that I was not surprised by anything. I was really encouraged by how thorough the lady was that did my X-rays and actually cared about my past dental experience as well as making sure to document that I was taking several medications. I was able to get a cleaning and my teeth feel 100% better. It felt like someone actually cared about me as an individual. Dr. Davis was genuinely caring about my dental health and stressed that her job was to make me feel comfortable. I was able to have some of my treatment done on the same day and I was so impressed with how easy everything was. I feel foolish that I waited this long to return to see the dentist but I can honestly say I have no fear returning to her office for my next visit!

Where do I start? Dr. Davis and her team are amazing. I've been a patient since 2013. She's taken care of myself, my kids, my mom and my grandmother! There's not any chance that we will go anywhere else. The Smile Village team will take care of all of your traditional/semi-annual dental needs but don't be fooled, cosmetic dentistry is where Dr. Davis excels! She's a perfectionist and I mean that in the best possible way. If you've ever considered veneers or other cosmetic/corrective dentistry, she's your professional. She's an artist. She will truly enhance your smile all the while changing your life. If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it!

Dr.Davis is PHENOMENAL!! My son decided to get veneers as he was entering the entertainment and sports industry. Without hesitation, he knew that he wanted Dr.Davis to give him a smile makeover. He had been very reluctant to step foot in any dentist office previously, but the staff at Dr.Davis office quickly changed that! It's not a day that goes by that someone is not asking or complimenting his beautiful smile. She was beyond professional, and went to great lengths to make sure his smile was beautiful! I can't thank Smile Village enough for making my son stand out in any room! His smile is priceless!
