Dr. Reem S. Shafi, CEO, Two Rivers Dental is the epitome of modern dentistry. She received her dental degree in 1998 and is a proud alumna of the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. After her graduation, she relocated to Chicago, IL and opened her first dental practice by 2004. During that year of running her own practice, Dr. Shafi realized she had much more potential and decided to open a second practice. Now, a decade later, Dr. Shafi owns several practices, all of which are located in and around the Chicago area. Her company now employs over 140 employees and 30 dentists.
During the course of her professional career, Dr. Shafi has won numerous awards including her induction into Temple University Fox School of business League for Entrepreneurial Women Hall of Fame for the year 2013.
A native to Illinois, Dr. Alsibaie graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and completed her residency at the University of Iowa Dental School. She is an American Board of Orthodontics Diplomate, and she is also one of a few Board Certified Orthodontists in Illinois! She is constantly staying up to date on advances in orthodontics so she can provide her patients with the best treatment in conjunction with the latest technology. Dr. Alsibaie specializes in Class II Functional Correctors, Temporary Anchorage Devices (temporary implants), Orthodontic Treatment in conjunction with Orthognathic Surgery and Cleft Treatment.
Dr. Peterson specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants since 1987, has extensive experience in implantology, and has successfully treated many dental implant patients throughout Chicagoland.
Dr. Peterson graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. He furthered his training and education through a program focused in Anesthesiology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital College of Surgery.
Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling, tennis, skiing and the outdoors. Dr. Peterson also practices law and teaches at a university.

I have been coming here for several years. Myself and my kids have seen a number of their doctors. Most of them we really didn't care for. They really have awful bedside manner, and do not discuss things well! Over the past couple years we have seen Dr. Azimi. He is a breath of fresh air and absolutely wonderful with kids. He talks them through every step and explains what he is doing. I truly is amazing at what he does. His assistant which I am forgetting her name but it starts with an R is a blessing as well to the kids! He is the only dentist I will allow to do work on my children!!

I've been here twice the past 2 weeks. First for a cleaning. I had an appointment at 2. I got there at 1:45 and wasn't seen until 3:15 (While people with later appointments were getting called back before myself) and was finally out by 4. Was told they were having issues getting in touch with my insurance for major restorative work coverage. Which didn't make sense to me since I was there for a cleaning? Anyways, they found some cavities and made an appointment for fillings. During that first visit I had asked about out of pocket costs for the fillings and had been told there wasn't any. I went into my appointment for the fillings today. Had a few done in one sitting and before they were fully done with those (filing down the fillings and polishing) the dentist briefly asked if the front office had gone over the treatment plan with me. They had not. The dentist and assistant dropped everything the second I had said no and left without saying anything. They brought back someone from the front desk a few minutes later with paper work showing me the cost breakdown per filling. Totaling to just over $400. They had me look over everything while in the dentists chair, half done with my dental work. Felt as if I didn't sign this agreement to pay they would have stopped working on me right then and there, leaving the fillings uneven and uncomfortable. Feeling very uncomfortable and confused I asked to skip the remaining work and to just finish what was already started, signing the payment agreement papers under quite a bit of duress. After that, the assistant seemed very agitated and annoyed whenever I had told them that it still felt quite uncomfortable after a few times filing down the fillings trying to get my resting bite back to a comfortable place. I wouldn't recommend this location, seems to be very disorganized and uninformed of each others work. Besides all that they were nice and had decent customer service. The two dentists I saw were both very kind and gentle and did a good job on the work itself. However with the experience I had, it just seemed very unethical, unprofessional, and almost scam like. Won't be returning.

The people in front very nice but even with appointment had to wait 1 hour and minutes for a cleaning. Got braces for my son can't wait to they take them out so I would never have to go back!!!!

This by far has been the best dental experience i ever had! The staff is very pleasant and Professional and Dr. Bashiri And her Assistant/ Hygienist Was the nicest and did the best job on my teeth. The Dr has a calming demeanor and is a hard worker running things like a Professional. ! Thanks Smile View Dental!!

Very nice staff very accommodating. I knocked a tooth out and within 2 days they had a temporary tooth made and installed. I was able to go to a family wedding with a smile. Thank you

The ladies up front are very kind :) I can't say the same about the staff in the back, very bad manners to ask, have no knowledge of how x-ray machine works etc. On top of that, had an appointment at 1:30pm they end it up taking me in at 2:38pm.

The staff was very kind, helpful and attentive. They walked me through my options, and scheduling was very easy.
