I have been treating patients for over 21 years. What I love about my work are the relationships I have built with my patients over time and seeing the positive changes in people as a result of their treatment. Its an honour and a privilege to serve our wonderful patients. I am passionate about what I do and I believe that a beautiful smile can be a huge confidence builder and can be life-changing. When I am not at the office I enjoy reading, cooking, travelling and spending time with my family. I live in Prospect Heights with my husband, Patrick, and our three children, Brian, Mary and Diana. When I am not doing dentistry, I like spending time with my family and friends. I also like working out and travelling to different places exploring different cultures. As someone who values keeping a long term relationship with people, I cannot wait to meet you and provide long term quality dental care!

Dr. Amir Danesh got his DDS in 2008 and received his postdoctoral speciality training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University. Dr. Danesh career goal is to put the patient`s interest first and minimize any inconvenience and stress to patients by making the process noninvasive and more efficient. He is a big believer in evidence-based dentistry and uses current techniques and industry breakthroughs supported by scientific evidence, for providing the highest quality of care to his patients.

Dr. Danesh is a board-certified periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Danesh was selected as a winner of first prize in a Clinical Showcase Scholarship from New York University. He was also selected as the recipient of the Award for Academic Excellence for his scholarly activities. He believes that clinical research plays a vital role in the enhancement of patient care. He has contributed to the publication of 2 books and published more than 20 papers in prestigious journals including Journal of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Implant Dentistry, Clinical Implant Dentistry and related research, Journal craniofacial surgery, Journal of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Journal of Periodontal Research.

He is a reviewer as well as an editorial member of many professional scientific journals and has several oral and poster presentations at national and international meetings such as the American Academy of Periodontology. His speciality clinical training and academic research focus on the various advanced and complicated implant and oral surgeries including bone regeneration and grafting, sinus lift procedure, ridge augmentation, atraumatic surgical extractions and site preservation, soft tissue augmentation and treatment of gum and peri-implant diseases. In addition, he has been trained in Nitrous Oxide and Intravenous Sedation that helps patients to be comfortable and calm when undergoing dental procedures. IV sedation or twilight sleep will enable you to tolerate as well as not remember procedures that may be very uncomfortable for patients.

Dr. Danesh is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, a member of both the American and International Association for Dental Research, The International Association for Orthodontics, and American Orthodontics Society. Dr. Danesh is passionate about the speciality of periodontology and implant dentistry and makes a serious commitment to continuing education by attending professional meetings to stay updated in the field. He is bilingual in both English and Farsi.

I started working for Dr. Kidonakis when I migrated to the United States from the Philippines in 2000. Dr. Kidonakis and Patrick are the best, most awesome bosses one can ever have! We also have the nicest, friendliest bunch of patients in the world! Frankly, it feels like family here!

I live with my husband, Rodel, and our two kids, Carlo and Ysabelle. They are the love and joy of my life. I like singing, listening to music, and watching the news on TV. I try to apply principles of living and loving from life guru, Tony Robbins (courtesy of the Dr.!) and enjoy learning new foreign words from our Greek, Polish, French and Laotian patients.

I am honored to graduate from Southern Illinois University which is the only program in state that provides a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene. I am humbled to have received the Hufriedy Golden Scaler Award, a cherished symbol of Dental Hygiene excellence which is awarded to one student from the graduating class. I am passionate about providing optimal care for my clients and more importantly providing them education on how they can improve or make changes in their oral health.

I feel fortunate to join Dr. Kidonakis and team because the whole team provides compassionate and exceptional care for each individual client. I am blessed to be a daughter, wife, sister and aunt of two awesome nephews. I am eagerly looking forward to meeting you and building a professional relationship with you as we work towards improving your oral health!

I live with my fiance in Glendale Heights, and we love cooking large meals together for our family and friends. We love trying challenging new recipes and it is thrilling when a meal turns out better than we had hoped.

I enjoy getting to know our patients and making a lasting connection with them. My biggest joy is to see our patients happy and satisfied. I live in Glenview with my two children Gabi and Eric. They are my love, joy and purpose of life.
