Had an amazing experience, Dr. Carlos and Becky really took care of me and where the most gentle dentist & assistant ever. I've always been afraid of dentist because of a past experience (different dental company) and I was traumatized/terrified of dentist and haven't gone in 8+ years, Dr. Carlos and Becky at smile time dental really took care of me and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you!! And smile time is the only dental office I'll ever be going to.

Have had a wonderful experience here! Staff is so helpful and supportive. They take medical plans as well. Highly recommend. Fast,easy,efficient and warm vibes.

The dentist I saw was great! Good bedside manor, approacable, no nonsense. The dentists, dental assistants, and hygenists gets 5 stars. However this review is for the entire staff. The manner in which the billing staff treat customers is the worst I have experienced. They refuse to answer billing/insurance questions and do not pick up the phone even though when you call the number there is an option to speak directly with them. The only way you can get answers is to have the folks handling appointments reach out to them I assuming via a chat. Do not pay up front wihtout making them run your insurance! UPDATE: Don't you love how they 'reply' to my review with some story about HPAA, and then give me the phone number to call, the number that they refuse to pick up when I pick option '6' to talk to billing? After that reply I have to reduce my review to 1 star...

DO NOT GO HERE!! CROOKS AND LIARS! First impression was the staff were welcoming and office was clean. I went there for an tooth ache I had the previous day, and even though it stopped hurting I wanted to get it checked out. My family dentist is out of town and I honestly just randomly picked this place when I looked up emergency dentists around me. They insisted I took x-rays even though my insurance wouldn't cover it since I just had a set done. After the x-ray's the dentist came into my room and looked around my mouth and whispered to the hygienist to mark 4 teeth. I didn't understand what was being said or what was going on until I got back up to the front desk and was told I HAVE FOUR CAVITIES OUT OF NOWHERE?!?!! I had just been to my dentist 4 months ago for a check up and thought NO WAY I got four cavities on four different teeth. THEY WANTED TO SCHEDULE ME TO COME IN THE NEXT MORNING TO FILL IN TWO TEETH THEN THE NEXT TWO LATER ON IN THE MONTH!!!! Crooks. Well this was about a month ago, and I just saw my family dentist today. They told me I had zero cavities and everything looked great. SO WERE THEY REALLY GOING TO DRILL HOLES INTO MY PERFECTLY GOOD MOLARS TO FILL THEM BACK IN!?!?!?!?! That's criminal in my opinion, and just creepy. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! i want to report y'all and just might.

This office has been the best experience I've ever had at any office. Nobody ever likes going to the Dentist but this office from the front desk to the office Manager makes it very enjoyable. Super professional and the absolute amazing Dentist Dr. Jack. The office Manager ( Inna) sat down with me after visit and explained different plan options for treatments. Very knowledgeable and up front with amazing personality. I would highly recommend this office for any dentistry needs. Great people and practice. Impressive for sure.

Thankyou Dany for getting my Daughter seen in a timely fashion. My baby was seen by Dr. Cortez who wasn't able to complete TX so receptionist Dany took it upon her self to be sure we got seen . Luckily they had cancelations in the hospital setting.wich is normally like a year out for appointments. Dany said she wouldn't forget us and she DIDNT. She went above and beyond. Thank Dany your the bomb and so was Mercy General

Thank You Smile Time! I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist. But thanks to you and your team of professionals, especially the cute receptionist with the accent, I had a very good experience. Almost pain free. Now how good is that? Thanks again!

First of all this office is charging their clients $12 per visit for their protection gear against Covid that they should be handling and providing themselves. I've had no co-payment until they decided to ad that cost to all patients for each visit. Secondly, I was told that I needed a crown on one tooth and then told by another dentist that it was savageable and we could do a filling. More recently my crown fell off. It was not damaged and basically just needed to be cleaned and re-attached or glued. I'm a senior who has seizures and this is an emergency. The tooth could cut into my tongue again and/or damage the tooth where it will need to be pulled or replaced with a partial or implant. However, I was told that they could do absolutely nothing to help me. Not even to make me comfortable or get me out of pain. The only alternate would be to pay for a new crown. To be perfectly honest the dentist was actually great, but, outside of that the office, the staff policies and everything else leaves a lot to be desired. Do your homework and check on things as you go along to be safe here. Good luck!

Wow!! I just left this place I come all the way from north highlands because the reviews and i made the right choice. mind you I have some pretty messed up teeth and went in with a lot of anxiety. From the receptionist to the X-ray tech, doctor, assistants and treatment specialist (Special shout out to Stephanie she was so warm sweet funny she did everything In her power to help me) every single staff member took away any fear I had. They were all very sweet and informative did not make me feel uncomfortable despite my oral health. I am excited for all my future appts. THank you so much for beginning the process to restore my smile. I've already recommended my mother who never goes or took me to the dentist to make an appt hopefully she listens....

This place is amazing in every way! The hygienist was super sweet I visited on 5/16/22. Edit 6/23/22: I went to get my first fillings appointment at Smile Time today and they were absolutely outstanding. I've never had a team be so gentle with me and I came out of the appointment practically painless. I noticed that my smile was off (my fault) right after leaving and when I immediately went back they quickly in less than 10 mins got me in and out and fixed it. I am glad to say I am staying with this very friendly location!

A complete waste of time. I've been going to dentist every 6 months and just transferred to Folsom. I made an appointment for cleaning specifically. When I visit them, I was told I needed an x-ray and an accessment. I told the staff that I just had my x-ray less than 6 months ago and cleaning as well. They can't just do the cleaning and there's no opening on the same day. So I went home send them my x-ray and made another appointment. My second appointment, the receptionist said I'm having an accessment today. WTH? I said, it's for cleaning. No cleaning appointment for today. So they want to do all the extras for money before they're willing to do the basics.

I can't say enough good things about smile time. Dr. Jack does wonderful work he's a wizard at designing and placing crowns. The hygienists are efficient, thorough and make cleanings pleasingly comfortable. Inna the office manager is a goddess, she is on top of everything from treatment, scheduling, billing and insurance. I always feel like I'm being provided the best treatment, care and service from the entire staff and strongly recommend this office for any dental needs!

I may have well just gone into an alien world at this place. Nothing was normal. No one was friendly or welcoming. It was as if one dentist had an establishment and invited a bunch of pre-med students over to try their hand at basic dentist work. I say this because I didn't actually get my teeth cleaned, just poked around in my mouth by students. When I asked for confirmation that I would not be getting a cleaning, the dentist said, as if I should have known, "no? All the hygienists are out this week." Oh, cool. My $88 was for nothing, I see. Instead, it was all used to get me to sign up for another appointment. In six weeks. Which required a $50 deposit. I'm sorry, what? I politely said I was not interested and left. This all sounds very outlandish, I get it, but you'll have to forgive me--the tech(?) took so many X-rays that I might have brain damage. Seriously though, skip this place and don't ever give it another thought.

This place was useful when I needed an emergency filling but DO NOT TRUST THEM for routine dental needs. They kept trying to sell me things for my gums, told me I had 5 cavities that needed fillings and a new crown. A couple months after I got better dental insurance and saw our family dentist. She said I DON'T HAVE ANY CAVITIES and my gums are great. Its really disappointing this practice is just trying to swindle money out of people. DO BETTER

Useless. They made an appointment for my 18 year old daughter only to be told on the day of the appointment when I needed to reschedule that they can't reschedule and couldn't see her anyways because they don't see anyone under 21. Thanks for the waste of time and lack of professionalism.
