We are usually very pleased with the service we recive here. However, I brought my daughter in this morning because her pediatrician was concerned that she may be sensitive to the nickle on her stainless steel caps and requested that we have them removed and replaced with a nickle free version. We came in for a consult. When we went back, the dental assistant with the heart tattoo under her left eye (didn't get her name) asked what brought us in so I told her we had a note from her doctor regarding the nickle sensitivity and that our doctor had done some tests. She asked if the caps were causing any sensitivity or irritation to my daughters gums to which I replied not that I was aware of. She then said "so your doctor just decided she has a nickle allergy"? I responded with "I don't know, I'm not a doctor, I'm just doing what was recommended for my daughter". She then came back with "well there was nothing in her notes about her visit today so we were just curious why you were here". I let her know that I had told the receptionist why we were coming in when I called to schedule her appointment and that it wasn't my fault that they didn't relay that information. The dentist was much more approachable. I admittedly was a bit snappy toward her after the assistants nastiness and toned it down once I realized that she wasn't the problem. I've never dealt with this assistant before and will be attending the office in Folsom from now on just to avoid her. I've worked with the public in many different roles and would never dream of treating a patient or customer the way we were treated today. Forreference, this was the office in EDH.

Terrible rotation of dentists who lie about the condition of your children's teeth and offer insanely expensive treatments. Always get a second opinion

I love this place! They were able to get my son in quickly and did as much work as possible in one visit! The office staff is super friendly.

Absolutely horrible place my child has a bad tooth and have been trying to get a follow up appointment for 2 months , everytime I call they tell me their specialist will give me a call and he never does. Very rude and unorganized, careless .

The dentist was trying to treat 7 people at once. She was overwhelmed and had very little time to help us. It was an awful experience.

My daughter had her first visit here at SmileTime Dental in El Dorado Hills. We were nicely greeted by Alessandra who made our baby girl feel so comfortable as she was a little nervous not knowing what to expect. As Alessandra treated her she explained everything she was going to do in very sweet manner making our daughter feel even more comfortable. She had a little trouble with the xrays and Allesandra decided not to push passed what our daughter could handle and only did 3 xrays saying "I'm not going to push her we have had a great visit andI want her first visit to be a great one". We really could not have asked for a better visit and a nicer person to take care of our baby. Dr. Rosy was really nice too giving us some great news that she had no cavities .. Thank y'all for a great first dental visit for our baby girl. We will recommend you to anyone who may all us for a dentist for their kids

This was our first visit to this office and will not be our last! The staff was amazing and extremely friendly. Colene (sorry if I misspelled it) was our dental assistant and she was beyond amazing! I have three children and this by far was the best dentist experience we have ever had. The dentist was extremely friendly and helpful as well.

Had to give one star in order to post! i would never give this place a star! Do not bring your child here! Not sure about Make a smile side of the office but smile time side is not ok (denti-cal side). My son got a spacer put in and 3 days later it broke. i called to have them fix if and they scheduled me 1 week out. Fine i get it but then i called back because now it was cutting into his cheek. they could NOT get me in on an emergency. With all 3 offices they couldn't find an opening. A Few days later the cuts became really bad. i called back and still no luck getting him in. So i went to another dentist and payed out of pocke. They were outraged at the situation. Then the new dentist tells me there is no need for a spacer!!!! They didn't even know why make a smile put it in!!!!! Then trying to get my records to change offices they want to charge me an arm and a leg! so not happy!
