Smile Team was established in 2018 by Dr. Bansi Mithani Doescher after spending the prior 8 years working as an associate in private practice. Dr. Doeschers vision was clear, create a modern and relaxed environment with the latest dental technology that is accessible to everyone without cutting any corners. What is meant by accessible? Smile Team is in network with a comprehensive list of dental insurances to ensure your cost of care is affordable.
On your first visit thedentist will review your dental and medical history form, your dental x-rays (if you have ones sent to us from another office) or we will take new x-rays if required. Dr. Bansi Mithani Doescher will then perform an exam and discuss all the findings and present all options for treatment (if treatment is needed). After that Dr. Doescher will answer all your questions or concerns. To be as effective as possible, you may want to bring a list with your dental health questions to your visit to make sure they are addressed by Dr. Doescher.
If you are visiting our Center City Philadelphia location, Love Park Garage is the most convenient way to park in the area. Parking can be booked ahead of time via iParkit. Once parked, 2 Penn Center is located directly across the street from Love Park. Street parking is available in the immediate area, but hard to come by.
Smile Team can be accessed by various forms of public transportation. 2 Penn Center can be directly accessed underground via Suburban Station. If you need any help locating our office, please feel free to call our office.
Dr. Doescher strongly believes in helping aspiring dentists realize their goals. She has actively mentored over 10 high school and college aged students to go to Dental School. She is proud to help usher in the next generation of Dentists just the same way that she was fortunate enough to be.
Dr. Doescher is an active participant in the South Jersey ADA and participates in a variety of continuing education courses to make sure her patients are routinely receiving the most state of the art dental care and technology.
She is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and is particularly known for her gentle touch and her way with children. She is a skilled dentist and with her easy going personality delivers the state-of-the-art dentistry to her patients in the most relaxing manner possible. She prides herself in providing quality comprehensive care with positive treatment outcomes. During her time as a dentist, she has participated in oral health research projects in Kenya.
Dr. Patel believes themost important part of dental care is comprehensive treatment planning. She strongly believes in educating her patients on proper oral care and determining a treatment plan that best suits the patients needs. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a strong aptitude for cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. Dr. Patel is part of the American Dental Association and received preceptorship in Oral Implantology from University of San Antonio, Texas. She is an active participant in the fellowship of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ganesan considers a beautiful smile and good oral hygiene as important factors for overall health and well-being. He is trained in all major aspects of General Dentistry, with a particular interest in preventive and restorative dentistry. Dr. Ganesan strives to keep abreast of the latest practices and techniques to deliver the best care possible.

I spent the usual amount of time in the office as expected, but not on the expected things. I waited 45 minutes for a 15 minute appointment. They spent 10 minutes cleaning AND polishing my teeth which would normally take 10 minutes each at least. The cleaning was uncomfortable and my teeth still hurt leaving the office and they do not feel clean. Update: I returned to see Dr. Doescher and she was able to address all of my concerns. She personally cleaned and checked my teeth, and I felt very well cared for. Would recommend seeing her.

By far the worst dentist ever! Unprofessional and uneducated! I will never let anyone there touch my family's teeth ever again. They can barely teeth clean properly! Shaved my husbands tooth down and installed a new one incorrectly, overcharged him and messed up the overall health of his teeth. Please do yourself a favor and find a new office that has professional and educated staff!

Handles her business and don't mess around. I called her and she not only helped me out but she is taken care of me. So I have to take back what I said plus I shouldn't listen to Nobody but the doctor. Lesson Learned.

Unprofessional. Had a 2 pm appointment arrived early NO ONE GREETED ME there was one person there before me. One person came after me, I waited to be serviced because they serviced the person who came before me and the person who came after me BEFORE SERVICING ME. Basically skipping my appointment time to handle someone else. Dr asked to numb me while i waited for the room .. THE ROOM WHERE THE PERSON WHO CAME AFTER ME WAS BEING SERVICED IN. The female employees gossiped about guest and were very nasty and unpleasant. Wasted 45mins of my time and I still wasn't being worked on so I left.

Overall, a great experience! Staff is organized, efficient, and hospitable. Dr. Viraj Ganesan was really patient and made sure to talk through everything. Similarly, I found Rashonda to be an absolute standout. She was kind, witty, and did an amazing job with my x-rays and exams. Very enjoyable and highly recommend!

Dr Doescher Dr Patel and staff are sooo friendly, kind and professional. I started coming to them in 2020 and quite honestly I wish I would have found them years ago. They spent time talking and explaining each procedure. If they can't do it, they have a team of colleagues who they call to get the job done. Front desk employees are also so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much. I also have my partner who comes to them as well.

UPDATE: went to a denture specialist and my dentures are so bad they can't be fixed and so I have to pay out of pocket for new ones. 6 months wasted at smile team. ********************* You're going to be treated like cattle and they're going to jam as many people into the day as possible, take you four months to get an appointment and then you get substandard or truly terrible service and there's nothing you can do about it and no one you can complain to. Please go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Believe the bad reviews. This place seemed great when I called, but I was there for dentures during omicron and it was shocking. It's a tiny office, so many young kids working there. Zero COVID protocol, they all walk by and stick their hands in your mouth and keep going... But you don't see anyone washing their hands bc they have gloves!?!? Thank God I didn't need anything like root canal. 6 months later, my dentures were finally done and don't fit. They look ridiculous. The staff of kids are talking, laughing, eating on the table where the dentures are, getting in each others way and not knowing even the basics. My "Doctor"was about 18 and told me they had a new product I was going to love called Fixodent. Lol They keep you there for hours. Hours! I was there for 2.5 hours for a mold to be made that should have taken 5 minutes. The "doctor" said, "well I have to send my staff to lunch"... Believe the bad reviews. The two women who run this place might be able to buy a Best of Philly, but this is the worst of American healthcare as we know it.
