Smile Team was established in 2018 by Dr. Bansi Mithani Doescher after spending the prior 8 years working as an associate in private practice. Dr. Doeschers vision was clear, create a modern and relaxed environment with the latest dental technology that is accessible to everyone without cutting any corners. What is meant by accessible? Smile Team is in network with a comprehensive list of dental insurances to ensure your cost of care is affordable.
On your first visit thedentist will review your dental and medical history form, your dental x-rays (if you have ones sent to us from another office) or we will take new x-rays if required. Dr. Bansi Mithani Doescher will then perform an exam and discuss all the findings and present all options for treatment (if treatment is needed). After that Dr. Doescher will answer all your questions or concerns. To be as effective as possible, you may want to bring a list with your dental health questions to your visit to make sure they are addressed by Dr. Doescher.
If you are visiting our Center City Philadelphia location, Love Park Garage is the most convenient way to park in the area. Parking can be booked ahead of time via iParkit. Once parked, 2 Penn Center is located directly across the street from Love Park. Street parking is available in the immediate area, but hard to come by.
Smile Team can be accessed by various forms of public transportation. 2 Penn Center can be directly accessed underground via Suburban Station. If you need any help locating our office, please feel free to call our office.
Dr. Doescher strongly believes in helping aspiring dentists realize their goals. She has actively mentored over 10 high school and college aged students to go to Dental School. She is proud to help usher in the next generation of Dentists just the same way that she was fortunate enough to be.
Dr. Doescher is an active participant in the South Jersey ADA and participates in a variety of continuing education courses to make sure her patients are routinely receiving the most state of the art dental care and technology.
She is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and is particularly known for her gentle touch and her way with children. She is a skilled dentist and with her easy going personality delivers the state-of-the-art dentistry to her patients in the most relaxing manner possible. She prides herself in providing quality comprehensive care with positive treatment outcomes. During her time as a dentist, she has participated in oral health research projects in Kenya.
Dr. Patel believes themost important part of dental care is comprehensive treatment planning. She strongly believes in educating her patients on proper oral care and determining a treatment plan that best suits the patients needs. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a strong aptitude for cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. Dr. Patel is part of the American Dental Association and received preceptorship in Oral Implantology from University of San Antonio, Texas. She is an active participant in the fellowship of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ganesan considers a beautiful smile and good oral hygiene as important factors for overall health and well-being. He is trained in all major aspects of General Dentistry, with a particular interest in preventive and restorative dentistry. Dr. Ganesan strives to keep abreast of the latest practices and techniques to deliver the best care possible.

i went to get a 6 month cleaning and i have to get a sealing to prevent cavities and she said she doesnt have time to do my sealing horrible service definitely wont go again

First let me start on how much I DREADDDD going to the dentist! It's usually discomfort in my mouth or them making my gums bleed heavily, but not here! First time here and it won't be my last. Definitely feel like I found my dental home!!. It was a very cute and homey environment. Staff was LOVELY! I even found a new show to binge watch on Netflix at home . I needed a deep cleaning and dentist usually send me on my way once they notice but NOT HER! She still did a cleaning on what she could see on the surface and let me tell y'all she did the damn thing! My cleaning looked like a teeth whitening after She was done. Very pleased with the service provided can't wait till my next appointment

Overall, I appreciated the effort but the experience was definitely something unforgettable. There was a lot going on at the office, and more than once I was called by the name another patient. Things were just confusing, a bit unprofessional, and I don't feel like a got a genuine teeth cleaning experience. The room wasn't even clean before switching for the third time. Hopefully the experience can be better for other people but I've decided not to go back and fine someone better.

First time and will not be the last. From staff to doctors everyone is very friendly and very welcoming. I am terrified of the dentist and they made my experience very comfortable and took their time. for once i can say I am actually looking forward to coming back to the dentist!!!

Worth the time & waiting. I was told & seen other SMILE Team locations are really good too.I had NO pain, same day service, better than Mayfair Dental and I thought that was a good Dentist free with state free insurance, but this one The Better over All. Thank for my new smile to match me

I went there for 2 fillings, I was never told which doctor who would be performing the procedure. I was assigned a new doctor to perform the procedure. I had the worst dental experience ever in my life, the dentist poked my lip by accident twice with the needle without any apology. And the filling procedure took more than 30 min for one filling. I had to stop because the experience was so traumatizing. In addition, I had to receive two doses of numbing shots. I waited 25 mins in the waiting room, after being called in there was no rooms available for me, I had to wait another 30 mins outside the room in a narrow hallway, after they put my numbing shot. After the long procedure for my filling, my tooth is in so much pain. If i didn't do the filling i wont even be suffering from toothache. I told the dentist about my concerns and she sent me away telling me to get some ibuprofen without checking if there is any faults with my teeth.

This location is a hit or miss and I am writing this review as I wait to be called back to my 1pm appointment, it's 1:28pm. Anyway, I'm not sure if it's externs or core staffs that are here but it's always busy, the flow is never smooth and it's always seem to be about one provider on days that I'm here and it doesn't even matter which day (they are only open three days out the week). I come back because I am acquainted with them and all my record is here so why not. I never have a dentist office I like smh, I thought I liked them at first but I'm tired of this hit or miss.

Horrible service at this location. I didn't feel welcome at their center at all. I came for a consultation and the dentist didn't even know what I was there for. Poor communication between staffs, they tried to pressured me into doing filling at their place. I told them I only came for a consultation and wasn't prepared to do a filling. They insisted on doing my fillings on that day but I did not want to. Took me forever for them to finally respect my choice. One of the dentist even told me to take Valium and assume that I have anxiety. I'm not even on prescription! If you must don't go this location, their center city office is much better.

I came to this dental office in hopes of having the same amazing experience as everyone in the reviews and I DID. I would be lying if I said I didn't walk in there with a ton of anxiety (considering its been so long since I've been to a dentist, due to horrible experiences) but Dr. Doescher and the lady who did my cleaning (I'm horrible with names- I think her name was Kate. She was truly AMAZING) were very understanding and calmed me down. The young lady that took my x-rays was the sweetest. She was super easy to talk to and she kept making me laugh which helped my anxiety. They listen to you and answer all of your questions and concerns. Everyone at this office was honestly so nice. I had a great experience and I can't wait to be back. Maybe I'll finally be able to say that I LOVE going to the dentist, thanks to Smile Team.

Everytime I come to this office there is a wait of no less than 20 minutes. I have been dealing with it but today was the final straw. I requested a night guard and was picking it up today along with my cleaning. My appt was for 9am and I was there at 845. At 920 I was ready to just leave with my night guard and come back another day for the cleaning. I got my guard and it was falling out of my mouth it was so large. This after they had taken two (extremely painful) molds. The dr sees me and says it's because they need yet another mold. I was never told this. I was called multiple times and very rudely asked to pick up my guard. No one ever told me I would need another molding. Had I known I would not have wasted the gas to even come back to this office. Now I'm without a night guard and cannot get another from another dentist because I have already paid and had my insurance billed for something I never even received.

To preface, I've been looking for a new dentist as my previous one was a bit of a trek so I found Smile Team via Google and was excited to try them out as they had great reviews and are located a few minutes away from me. I had the WORST dentist experience here. Firstly, I waited nearly an hour past my actual appointment time in their tiny waiting area and had to ask the receptionist when I would be called in. She told me I was next and that the room was being cleaned - WRONG. Once I was called in, I had to wait even more in the narrow hallway outside of the room because there was a patient in there who wasn't even done yet. Why would you call me in if the room isn't available...? I think they moved the patient to a different room so I could be worked on since I was visibly frustrated and annoyed. And because they were rushing, I doubt they properly sanitized the room. The room looked unclean and outdated, there wasn't even a place where I could put my bag so I held it on my lap the entire time. The procedure of getting my x-rays done was a bit uncomfortable and stressful as well albeit the Dr.'s assistant who took them was quite nice and friendly. Dr. Patel was my assigned doctor, but Dr. Doescher and her assistant did my cleaning instead. They were also nice and friendly, but the quality of the experience wasn't outstanding. There was a lot going on in the office and it was overall very unorganized, chaotic, and unprofessional in my opinion. I spent two hours there when it should've been one - felt like I wasted my time.
