Dr. Feldman and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Although my son has a fear of going to the dentist they always do their best to calm him and reassure him that everything will be alright by explaining the process.

I've had the worse experience recently. Medical patients are discriminated here because of the type of coverage. They make you sign a ridiculous paper stating they will discharge you if you are a no show! On top of that if you have to reschedule because you have another emergency they can careless and they want to discharge you. The receptionist is careless. If they just don't want any medical patients then they should take in any but don't make the families feels type of way because of medical. I am never bringing my kids here again. Many other places that are actually caring.

I absolutely love this dental office! I took my son here and he absolutely amazed me how easily he gravitated to the staff, all the staff there were very welcoming and warm. They made my son feel extremely comfortable and confident during his visit there. I was so impressed with everything there, the rooms were clean and bright colored and kid friendly decor. I also love the cool tv screens at the top of the ceiling for the children to focus on rather than what was going on in their mouths. Some children may be different but I'm sure they will make your child/children very comfortable it's was so nice I wanted to see them for myself but unfortunately they only service children. I highly recommend this dental office!

We are beyond grateful for Dr. Marissa and her team. She not only have great bed side manners and communications but also has the best skills with her dental works of art. After given an ultimatum on extractions of the lower back teeth for our 3 year old son at a well reviewed Dentist office in Torrance. We came to see Dr. Marissa for a second opinion. Not only did she saved the two teeth but also worked on them while my toddler is screaming and moving his head around. (For personal reasons we cannot give our son IV or general anesthesia) Also we appreciate the fact that Dr. Marissa is also trained on extraction just in case the teeth condition does not allow for fixing. Everything is just beyond our expectations. We do not have enough thanks to say to Dr. Marissa and her team. We appreciate all the extra miles you go to make this happen for our family. We really trust and adore Dr. Marissa. Dr. Marissa has got everything you need you should look no further!

I have been taking my 10 year old for a few years now to smile street pediatrics. I first came to this office after not being satisfied with my daughters previous dentist. It's been a great experience so far. All the assistants have been great. They are ALWAYS so friendly and positive. Dr. Marissa has been amazing! After my daughter had some cavity work, Dr. Marissa called after office hours to check on my daughter. As a new patient at the time, I was so grateful that she took the time to check on her and answer any questions I had. Fast forward to now, nothing has changed and continues to exceed my expectations. My daughter loves the staff and Dr and looks forward to her check ups.

Very concerned about how this office sets it's priorities. Do they do what's best for my kid or best for their cashflow? They recently recommended gum surgery on my 7 year old daughter to help an impacted tooth erupt. I asked a bit about the pros and cons and it was OBVIOUS I was being persuaded into gum surgery on a 7 year old. How do I know this? I've spent about 10 years in sales. I know when I'm being persuaded in one direction verses another. I was particularly suspicious of this after a pretty traumatic experience my daughter had in getting the silver caps put on that they recommend. In hindsight, I don't think that was the least intrusive method to handle this. But I went along with it at the time. Anyway, I visited another dentist to get a second opinion on the gum surgery and he told me what I thought. That kind of gum surgery on a 7 year old can be pretty extreme. He said in an ideal world if a tooth was impacted for an adult...sure we can do the surgery. However, at my daughter's young age it's just going to be too traumatic and he recommended waiting for up to a year to see if the tooth comes out. (UPDATE...HER TOOTH ERUPTED WITHOUT SURGERY ABOUT A YEAR LATER AROUND 5/2021) I couldn't get this kind of balanced pro and cons analysis from this office. They basically tried to persuade me to take the most invasive (and likely profitable) action possible. I find that troubling. For the record. I don't like writing bad reviews. In fact, to date, I have never written a bad review and I wouldn't write something this negatively blistering without considerable consideration. I've been contemplating writing this review for days. I decided to do it because. 1. I want this office to be more careful about their recommendations and really give a good assessment to their patients that will help solve dental problems while also prioritizing the child. GIVE A BALANCED UNBIASED OPINION AND LET THE PATIENT DECIDE. EVEN BETTER, USE YOUR INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE AND MAKE A RECOMMENDATION THAT IS BEST FOR THE CHILD...REGARDLESS OF THE FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS) 2. I want other parents to be aware that they really need to get second opinions and not trust what this office says as gospel. Again, I couldn't even get a good pro and cons analysis out of these people. Their opinion was basically surgery is the BEST option. 3. My daughter is now unnecessarily terrorized by the dentist, and it will now very likely be a lifetime phobia as I truly believe they prioritize business over the right age appropriate procedure for a child. If you don't have to traumatized a child...why do it?? Do something less invasive unless absolutely necessary. Even if the more invasive and profitable procedure is covered by my insurance. Could I be wrong about this office....sure I could be....but pay attention and make your own decisions.. don't just listen to these people without questioning. However on a positive note...I found the staff courteous the office quite inviting. The office is really setup to help kids feel comfortable. TVS on the ceilings to distract them, friendly staff, very kid friendly environment..... I just don't trust them with my kid.

We had a wonderful experience. We recently took our 5 year old, who needed his tooth pulled. The entire staff was very warm and compassionate. Dr. Marissa Faeldan-Suarez was sweet, thorough and calm. She made our son feel so at ease and us too. She took her time explaining step by step and was so gently with him that he didn't even cry. It's such a relief to have found them and have a place we trust.

I really was excited about the appointment I had for my kids. I'll start by what I didn't like. The front staff were cold. Customer service was not like what I would have expected by the appearance of this beautiful office. What really bothered me was the fact that the assistant used bare hands to open sterile equipment. Also gloves were not taken directly out of the box. They were left on the counter and then retrieved from there. The assistant also was cold and somewhat unapproachable. I felt like she was reading a script and I not engaging. It sucks because the doctor was warm and seemed knowledgeable. We will continue to go and I will address these concerns directly with the doctor but it's unfortunate. This place is so nice inside.
