Smile Station Pediatric Dentistry utilizes a 'tell, show, do' technique which involves explaining to the child what will be done, demonstrating it to them (on the hand for example), and then actually performing the treatment. Not only does this help keep your child engaged, but it also prevents your child from getting surprised or scared from the any of the procedures being performed.

We strive to make each child as comfortable and relaxed as possible while receiving care. Treatment for each child is individualized depending on the child's needs. While most patients are calm and confident, some patients may need more than a gentle caring manner to feel comfortable. We do offer several options for such patients, which include nitrous oxide and oral sedations, and outpatient hospital services.

Ashley grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and went to Millard West high school. After high school Ashley attended the University of Nebraska- Lincoln then went to dental hygiene school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry and received a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. While in dental hygiene school Ashley received 1st place from the Nebraska Dental Association for her research on the importance of implementing oral health curriculum in nursing school programs, and she is now working on publishing this research. Ashley understands the relationship between dental health and overall systemic health and is eager for all health professionals to work together to achieve optimum patient care. Educating patients and motivating them to achieve optimum dental health is what Ashley enjoys most about hygiene.

After hygiene school Ashley began specializing in Oral Myofunctional Therapy, which is an emerging field in the United States teaching people how to breath, swallow, chew and cease habits such as thumb or finger sucking. Oral Myofunctional Therapy has opened up a new passion in Ashleys heart to provide care that can change a persons appearance, health, self-esteem, and overall quality of life in an astonishing way. In Ashleys free time she enjoys cooking, baking, crafts, and spending time with family.

Dr. Rick has commitment to providing the most outstanding care, in a warm environment that welcomes every child. Our son being on the autism spectrum has a few fears. Smile Station works hard to make him as comfortable as possible. This is achieved not only their extraordinary care, but by supporting parents with the tools they need to ensure their children are confident and prepared for visiting the dentist.Our son loves Dr. Rick so much he calls him, Dr. Mickey.

Soooo Im a stay at home momma who thought it was a good idea to take a 3.5 and 5 year old boys to the dentist at the same time. First visit ever! The staff was hands down amazing. I didnt know what to expect. I always feel like Im running a circus and the visit went smoothly as can be.One child had no cavities and did awesome. He was the one I was worried about. Hahaha. My oldest had 4 cavities and in need of one pulled as it had went to the root and a spacer put in.Dr. Bryce knelt next to me and explained perfectly what was going on with both children and what the plan of action should be for the oldest. Everything was in terms that I understood and felt comfortable with.Thanks for making the dentist fun and not at all scary.

Everyone is so positive and kid friendly! ...Dr Bryce as well as the rest of the stuff know exactly what theyre doing in all aspects and have sent us a piece of mail for each time weve been with either a picture, stickers or a little note!
