My son had a tongue and lip tie. The staff here listened to my issues, the Dr. Andrew (I think is his name) sat down with me and explained the pros and cons of getting the ties lasered. I felt very comfortable letting them do the procedure. They took such good care of my son. I will be coming back. Dr. Rhodes at the springdale clinic was the one who diagnosed him. He seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. The Roger's location was just closer to home. Dropped to 2 stars. While they may do all kinds of free work for children in other countries they refuse to take medicade now. Guess low income kids don't deserve good care.

All 4 of my kids go to Smile Shoppe and see Dr. Andrew. We always have a great experience. They are very good with young children. Recently Mrs. Cindy at the front desk helped me get our adopted son's medical records changed and his next appointment scheduled. She was very helpful.

Customer service was definitely not their strong suit. When asked to explain his recommendation, Dr. brian really had no answer other than, that's what I recommend. As the front office staff was explaining the plan of care to me, I was asking questions and I was told very rudely, twice, that they "would get to that". Sorry, I ask questions as they come up, doesn't everyone? I'm the one paying out of pocket, so let me ask a question! They said that I could not go back to the treatment room with my 4 year old daughter while she was under conscious sedation and that just seemed really weird to me. I am a nurse and requested to be in the room with her but was denied. Dr. brian said in his 30 years of dentistry, this is what works for him. I was taken aback bc he looks 35, not sure he's had 30 years of dentistry, but also, why would you not want to allow a seasoned nurse in the room with you and my child. To me that just says you don't care about the family or the child, you only care about doing it YOUR way. That was the overall attitude at the smile shoppe....Our way or the highway. Then they couldn't get her in for over a month to have an abcess tooth removed! I called another pediatric dentist in the area and they got me right in within the hour and took care of the issue. And the recommendation was so much different and less invasive than what Dr. brian recommended. They also said she wasn't a good candidate for conscious sedation meaning that intubation, if needed in an emergency, would not be easy! Dr. brian mentioned nothing of this and was ready to go ahead with conscious sedation. I was so displeased with the customer service at smile shoppe, the way they scoffed at me for asking questions, the way they wouldn't see my child as an individual who needs and deserves the best care but rather a way to make a quick buck. I will make sure to tell all my nurse and doctor friends about the terrible care I got here and more importantly I won't be going back! Also, perhaps one of the worst things, was when she lost her balloon in the waiting room and the office staff saw it happen, saw her crying and couldn't bother themselves to get her another one. I gladly would have paid for it as well! Telling me I'm confused is not a reasonable response. This was over a year ago and no, I'm not confused. May have the name wrong but I know where I went and what happened

Our daughter has pretty severe anxiety and the staff was incredibly calm and patient with her. I'm sure it totally threw their schedule off but you'd have never known. Thank you for being so kind to her.

My 10 day old baby had a severe lip tie. I was referred by my chiropractor to the Smile Shoppe. We had a fantastic experience here with the doctor and all of the staff we interacted with. They listened to our concerns and were very gentle with my baby. The procedure was quickly done and I was only away from my baby for a few minutes. Post procedure instructions were very clear and the follow up appointment was great as well. I would recommend them to anyone and will happily take my child there in the future!

They will be ok but still not customer focused when will keep sending you bills....wait for the time you will leave area and ask to send you the documentation.. First they will call you and will let you know that it is Friday and they leaving home...at noon, and will take care of this Monday.. And on Monday someone else will call you and tells you that you have to sign papers and when questioned will call you silly, rude while she interrupts you when talking....

I am one of the patients there and one of the co- workers criticized me, I had an appointment with a orthodontist they said but I had to go into a check you, they looked at me and when it was getting about over they whispered to another co worker that they felt bad for the orthodontist. Worst moment ever.
