Dr. Jeffrey D. Rhodes, or Dr. J, is a 1984 graduate of Austin College in Sherman, TX. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1988. Then, he completed specialty training in pediatric dentistry in 1990. He has completed specialty fellowships at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Childrens Medical Center of Dallas. While at Baylor College of Dentistry, he published research in growth and development of young childrens faces. In addition, he has taught dental students at Baylor College of Dentistry, and is now teaching pediatric dental residents at Jordan Valley Community Center in Springfield, MO.
Dr. J is also active in the community, serving on many boards, such as the Corporate Leadership Council of the Walton Arts Center and as a Southwestern District Trustee for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). He grew up in Dallas, but has been coming to Northwest Arkansas his whole life to visit family.
Dr. Andrew Burriss, or Dr. Andrew, is a 2009 graduate of The Ohio State University. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2013. Following graduation he worked for two years in a private practice in Collierville, Tennessee.
He then completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at Bon Secours St. Marys of Richmond. While he was there, he gained an appreciation for the importance of education for the prevention of dental disease in children. He also received the skills necessary to care for special needs patients.
Dr. Andrew looks forward to working with children every day and wants to give every child the foundation for long-lasting, healthy smiles for years to come. Dr. Andrew is a native of Collierville, TN.
Dr. Mackenzie Youngman, or Dr. Mackenzie, received her bachelors degree from Auburn University in 2014. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M (formerly Baylor) College of Dentistry, graduating in 2018. Dr. Mackenzie practiced in Fort Worth, Texas for three years before moving to NWA. She was drawn to dentistry by her desire to help others and to make a difference in peoples lives. She is committed to creating meaningful relationships with each of her patients, providing the best possible care with kindness and compassion.
Dr. Hannah is a dentist known for her kind and gentle way with children. She tries her very best to ease the fears and anxieties of her patients, and make them comfortable in the dental chair. Dr. Hannah treats her patients as if they were her own little ones, and feels very lucky and blessed to get to watch them grow up in her care. She takes great pride in her work, and sees dentistry as one of the major ways she can make a positive difference in the world. When she graduated dental school, Dr. Hannah promised God that she would use her knowledge and skills to make the world a better place and has done her very best to keep that promise.
Dr. Hannah attended her first year of college at the University of California San Diego. She then transferred to Pacific Union College where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and a minor in biology. She completed her dental training at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Hannah has since received additional training and experience in pediatric dentistry and is also certified in Pediatric Oral Conscious Sedation. She has worked in a pediatric dental office in Tulsa, OK for the past five and a half years and just recently moved to NW Arkansas to be closer to family.
Dr. Hannah loves reading, volunteering, and spending time with friends & family. She grew up in sunny San Diego, CA and still enjoys the local pastimes of sea kayaking, snorkeling, and tidepooling. Her family immigrated from India when she was two years old and she understands Tamil (a South Indian dialect). Her husband is a cute ginger business analyst who works from home, and they have two adorable but busy toddler boys who keep them on their toes!

Dentists are great, staff also and Cindy at the front desk just goes above and beyond to provide the best service. She was super helpful on scheduling procedures trying to meet our family needs. Great place to bring your kids, I totally recommend it.

Staff was very nice, but we were told that my daughter needed work done that seemed a bit invasive, so I got a second opinion and my instincts were right. Not to mention, the smile shoppe doesn't allow parents in the room while work is being done. That doesn't sit well with me, as I have always been in the room for dental work with all of my children.

Went to my son's appointment which was today Sept 19th and the office was closed. Didn't received an email or call to inform me that they were going to be closed.

My two older daughters (7 and 9) hadn't seen a dentist in over a year after we moved to Arkansas and I had twin boys. They have had problems with cavities in the past, including surgery, and were anxious to go see a dentist knowing their teeth probably weren't in the best shape. Needless to say, we were incredibly happy we tried them out! It was such a quick visit, the staff were super friendly, and they made my children feel as comfortable as they could. They didn't berate them for the cavities they did have and even let them watch a movie of their choice while their teeth were being cleaned. I also scheduled an appointment for the first time for my two year old who's a screamer. I didn't think she'd lay still and let them look at her teeth but the dental hygienist was so efficient brushing her teeth and the dentist was great about checking her over quickly afterwards that there was little fight. We loved our experience there and will be visiting the Smile Shoppe in Bentonville for all our children's dental needs!

EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! My 4 year old has NEVER had a successful visit to the dentist until today. She was terrified to go to the dentist again, but we had a SUPER successful visit and she was all smiles at the end! The clinic was very calm, peaceful, and soothing. I felt that the staff was very kind, considerate, and caring and went out of their way to make my daughter feel comfortable. Every staff member was courteous and smiled the entire time we were there. I loved the decor. It was very cheerful, modern, clean and VERY child-friendly. I appreciated how the dental assistant took her time to show my daughter all of the tools before they got started and she was very flexible, calm, and PATIENT. The dentist was also very friendly, kind, and patient. He had excellent bedside manner. He understood that my daughter was scared and took his time with her to make her feel comfortable. My daughter left with a ballon, stickers, and a prize. First dentist visit without tears, a struggle, or a fight. I am SO happy that we tried this dental clinic after so many failures at other pediatric dental clinics in NWA.

Originally went to the Roger's office. The Bentonville office keeps the high standards and quality of care. I would and do reccomend them to everybody.

Staff is super friendly and welcoming! Always greeting you with a smile. I love how they walk your child through what they will be doing so they aren't scared. I love that I made the decision to change my kids to this dentist.

This was our first time at the smile shoppe. We have never used them before but I chose it for the convenient location. My youngest daughter had never been to the dentist at all and she left so excited for the next time she gets to come back. No tears, the team communicated well as well as asking me if I had concerns, and we didn't have to wait at all. We will be looking forward to our next visit!

Do not make appointment online!!! I booked online and I happened to call to confirm, even though I had a confirmation email she wouldn't honor it, she said supervisor would call. Never called! Never got an appointment either! Bad customer service, I'm switching my primary, never will use them again!

We have had such great experiences at The Smile Shoppe with Dr. Andrew and his staff. They are so patient, kind, and understanding! My 5 year old enjoys going to the dentist now! I appreciate how thorough they explain everything to the kids as well as the parents! I highly recommend The Smile Shoppe in Bentonville!

We love Dr. Andrew Burriss and all the ladies at Smile Shoppe in Bentonville! They are always friendly and helpful. Dr. Burriss helps my girls feel relaxed in a situation that can be scary for kids. We are so grateful for dentist appointments that are not stressful. Thank you, Dr. Burriss.

Dr. Burriss and his team are wonderful! They treat each child with patience and great care. My daughter always leaves with a smile on her face and talks about her trip to the dentist for days!
