Dr. Kevin Potocsky completed his undergraduate studies at University of Michigan, then earned his DDS at University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2001. He worked under his father, Dr. I. Dennis Potocsky, for a year before taking over the Allen Park office in 2002. Dr. Kevin is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, Detroit District Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Alpha Omega Dental Club. He was recognized in an article that ran in DentalTown Magazine for his achievements with teeth bleaching.
Dr. Kevin is certified in esthetics by Nash Institute and currently attends the Dawson Academy. He is trained to administer Six Month Braces and miniature dental implants, as well. After hours, Dr. Kevin and his wife, Julie, enjoy movies and sporting events. Dr. Kevin also likes to play hockey and golf.
Dr. Douglas Shiffman became affiliated with Smile Sensations and Dr. Kevin Potocsky in December of 2016. He received his undergraduate degree in 1970 from Wayne State University and his D.D.S. degree from the University of Michigan in 1974. His affiliations include life membership as a U of M Alumni, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Francis B. Vedder Crown and Bridge Society, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and Oakland County Dental Society. Dr. Shiffman continues to enjoy his dental practice in all phases of general dentistry. When away from the office, his joys in life include spending time with his wife Julie, his children, and four grandchildren. He enjoys watching sports, playing golf and exercise.
Dental Assistant I have 6 year of experience in the dental field. I am very blessed to have a career that I love and enjoy doing very day. Getting to be a part of enhancing a patients smile and dental health is very rewarding. Painting, reading, fishing and camping are my favorite hobbies. I have been married for ten years and have two sons and two daughters.
Treatment Coordinator My passion is to help patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles! She has been in the medical/dental field for over 35 years. She was a certified medical assistant and currently is CPR certified, and holds a membership to the National Office Managers Association.
Patient Care Coordinator Ive spent 11 years in dental administration and 5 years in the Navy as a dental assistant. Understanding our patients needs is my top priority. Community service is very important to me. I am a Volunteer at our local animal shelter, walk 60 miles for breast cancer every year and have received the Rose Award for Service. CPR certified. My husband and I are blessed with two adult children.
RDH I graduated in 2006 from the University of Michigan Dental in Ann Arbor with a Bachelors degree in science of Dental Hygiene. While going to school I worked as a dental assistant for 3 years. I truly love the dental path I have chosen. Its not often someone can say they enjoy coming to work, but I can. Its my second family. My amazing husband James and I have a beautiful 11 month old daughter. Family, the gym, roller skating, bowling and player euchre fills my off time. Certified in Local Anesthetic, Nitrous Oxide and CPR.
RDH Graduated from Detroit Mercy in 2004 with her Bachelor of Science and certificate of Dental Hygiene. She strives to stay up to date with the latest research pertaining to periodontal disease, treatment, and its link to overall health. 'My goal with every patient is to provide them with the highest quality care in a comfortable and friendly environment. The most rewarding part of my job is giving patients a healthy and beautiful smile.' A few of her favorite things are family, volunteering, sports, and cooking.
RDH I graduated from the University of Michigan dental hygiene program in 1999. 'With my 16 years of experience I have learned that building relationships and getting to know patients gives me great pride, as well as, helping patients maintain oral health or regain it from a diseased state.' She lives in Belleville with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with family, camping, and actively supporting her children 's extracurricular schedules.

Best dentist ever! Staff was also amazing and are very competent and professional. Thank you so much for removing my tooth so quickly! If you have an emergency this practice is THE place to go!!! Highly recommend and will be now bringing my family here for all of our dental needs. I can't thank you enough!!

TOTALLY RECOMMEND A DENTAL FOR ANYONE WHO IS HANDICAPPED My dad has been coming to A Dental center for years. He had a scheduled dental cleaning but he had a stroke/brain clot and as a result partially paralyzed on left side. Also he has a pacemaker. He wanted to keep his appointment and I forgot to call ahead and tell them what had happened. They were so so kind and accommodating that he was able to get his teeth cleaned and can't wait to come back. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING AWSOME WITH MY DISABLED DAD. I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL OFFICE.

Dr Potocsky and his assistants are amazing, they have taken care of my dental needs since I was a little girl, and now I take my own children to the office. Tracy is the best hygienist ever and the front office staff is awesome.

I've been coming here for years and I just absolutely LOVE the staff. I see Tracy every single time and she is just the sweetest human and does an amazing job on my teeth! Dr. Potocsky is the best dentist I've ever met he helped me back when I was looking for a good orthodontist and referred me to the best place and he does a fantastic job making sure my teeth stay healthy! Thank you guys for being the best around!

The dentist has an A1 rating from me. My mother and I have both gone here for a number of years. He is both gentle and tender toward his patients. My mother (96 yrs old) dimples up every time he talks with her.

I was in extreme pain, so I called this office and they fit me in the same day. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. The doctor went above and beyond to make sure I wasn't in pain, and that I was okay. I am planning to go back for a cleaning and further work. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Howard Potocsky was my favorite dentist. He was always gentle and humorous and not bad to look at either lol. I have seizures and broke all my front teeth and thought it wasnt fixable but he worked a miracle and bonded them to the point of perfection. I was so depressed and he gave me something to smile about. I will always remember that. Works well with young kids too!
