Dr. Lindsay Christensen is thrilled to be in Santa Fe serving the local community! He is a native of Denver Colorado and has lived in New Mexico with his wife, Sarah, and their three children since 2008.
Dr. Christensen is a graduate of Temple Dental School in Philadelphia, PA, where he received his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Mexico Dental Association, and a commited advocate of lifelong learning of the art & science of Dentistry. Dr. Christensen's credentials and studies continue to stand above and beyond New Mexico State's requirements for continuing education.
Dr. Christensen appreciates the value of family and friends, enjoys a great sense of humor, and loves to travel; his most recent trips include Kenya and Tanzania, where he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, and a recent tenth year anniversary trip to Thailand with his wife. He will certainly enjoy hearing about his patients own adventures, and promises he will ask them about details only after he has removed the gauze and suction from their mouths!!
Erik received a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Mexico in 1993. A dedicated and excellent professional, he is one of those rare right and left-brained people. Though dentistry is close to his heart, Erik makes it his business to know a little bit of everything, and he is always willing and eager to help the rest of us, while delivering a joke or two along the way... Erik is as competent and comfortable within our dental practice as he is in his kitchen, a construction site, or mechanic shop!
In 1991, Mary-Kaye received a Registered Dental Hygienist degree from Phoenix College in Arizona, and in 1997, she earned a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Mexico. An absolute wonder, she is capable of delivering dynamic, quality patient care and a Zen sense of creativity, which is also expressed through her love for quilting. But, dont think of her as passive; she is extremely passionate about adventurous camping with her husband Tony, and in her love for their four dogs and one lucky cat!
Marcia is the newest member of our dental team and we are thrilled that she has joined us! She is a native of Santa Fe and graduated from the dental hygiene program at the University of New Mexico in 1990. Since, she has worked in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho and Los Alamos. Marcia enjoys getting to know each one of her patients and brings a bright and positive energy to every dental visit. She is conscientious about educating her patients to help improve their understanding and practice of dental hygiene. When Marica is not in the office, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family!
Certified Dental Assistants, Barbara and Pauline, are both considered to be Dr. Christensen's right hands! Through years of accomplished experience, they and Dr. Christensen have developed a synergy that benefits both our patients and the dental practice as a whole.
With her cheerful personality and contagious smile, Barbara lights up every room! She has been with Dr. Christensen since he began and has been a tremendous asset. Combining her expertise and caring nature, she has the unique ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease right away. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys cooking and baking treats for friends and family. She also loves to go camping with her husband Brian, and two children, rain or shine!
Knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate, Pauline is an imperative member of our team. She has also been with us from the start and is a strong, steady presence in the office. Her proficiency and team-player ethics enhance and complement the dental practice. As a busy mother of four, Pauline is also an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and gives freely of her time in this capacity. She enjoys photographing her children and the surrounding landscape during family hikes and loves to travel whenever she has the chance!
Jocy is the youngest member of our dental team; her bright disposition, curiosity, and natural talent make her a perfect addition to our staff! She can most often be found tending to front office duties, but at times is whisked off to the back to assist with patient care. Wherever she is, her enthusiasm and attention to detail never go unnoticed! Jocy attends college in addition to working with us part time, and does a wonderful job balancing both. Clear about her priorities, Jocy never misses a chance to spend time with her family and husband Markus, as well as gathering times with extended family and friends!

I can confidently say I've never had a better dental experience in my life than the one I had today at Smile Santa Fe. I'd like to thank Dr.Lindsey and Rebecca for taking such great care of me!! Amazing work it really changed my entire outlook on going in for for dental work

Professional, quality, and friendly service. I highly recommend the services provided at Smile Santa Fe Dentistry. I have been to multiple dentists in Santa Fe and Smile Santa Fe by far has exceeded my expectations. Dr. Christensen does great work, they do not settle for less than the best. The entire staff is warm and friendly. They worked with me paying for a major dental restoration. It's been a long time since I felt so good about my Smile. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!

I called to schedule wisdom teeth extraction and I provided them with all the information I had. I asked about the pricing and was met with resistance I was not looking for a final number just a ballpark amount, the person over the phone got very defensive about relinquishing information. This is an anti-consumer/anti-patient practice and I would not recommend visiting this place for even the simplest of procedures.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Christensen for about two years, and we are very happy with our experience with his practice. This includes timeliness in terms of our appointments, as well as gentleness -- but thoroughness -- on the part of the dental hygienists and their cleaning methods. Until recently, however, we had not needed any actual dental work by Dr. Christensen. That changed, though, when I had a very old filling fall out one evening while flossing. I called Dr. Christensen's office the next morning, and the receptionist told me to come in right away. X-rays were taken, and I was fully expecting to be told that I would need a crown. Instead, Dr. Christensen said that there was enough bone left that he could put in a new filling -- and, if I had time, he could do right away. So, he did. And everything has worked out just fine with that filling. The "bottom line" on this review is that if Dr. Christensen had said that I needed a crown, I would have accepted his advice and gone for that. It would have been much more expensive for me -- and I assume more lucrative on his part -- but he didn't do that. So, that is why I have taken the time to tell you about my experience with Dr. Christensen and why I trust he will give my husband and me the very best advice and dental care for years to come.

I was driving across country meandering my way to California and while hiking at Bandelier National Monument managed to pull a crown free. In trying to find a local dentist in Santa Fe, another dentist's office who did not have a time slot available referred me to Dr. Christensen at Smile Santa Fe Dentistry. I was able to make an appointment for first thing the next morning and Dr. Christensen was able to quickly and efficiently get the crown cemented back in place though with the viewing instrumentation he had, he was able to warn me to see my dentist once I got home as it appeared that though the crown was intact, there were small areas where parts of the base tooth were now gone and though the cement would fill those gaps it would erode away. I was able to continue my trip essentially uninterrupted thanks to Dr. Christensen.

Best dental experience ever! The dentist CARES and his staff is excellent! After Grave's disease my mouth was so bad he worked on me for 6.5 hrs. The kindness, compassion and care is beyond the norm and they go the extra, shall I say, s-mile.

I have trust in and admiration for Dr. Christensen's skills and his good chair-side manner. As one who had a bad childhood dental care experience, I come with anxieties and supreme sensitivity to this kind of care and anticipated pain. That has passed now, thanks to the reassurance, skill and friendliness of Dr. Christensen and his staff. My teeth cleaning routine is a dream with Andrea! Now I am involved in more complicated care and Dr. Christensen has explained each step and presented me always with options and a conservative approach. He is from my grandfather's excellent dental school: Temple University, nationally recognized for a century as among the finest medical/dental institutions. This is the first time I have ever been calm and enthusiastic about my dentist and his team. I am in excellent hands!

Dr. Christensen is one of the best dentists I have had. I asked him to change out my mercury fillings for (white) ones. The (white) fillings I have had with him have been very good quality- they "feel" very good too. The crown he did for me is very good as well- the best one I have- I can barely tell it's a crown, even when I look close. He is very knowledgable, has great attention for detail, and it is obvious that he cares about doing quality work. He is also very personable. I can and do recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist in Santa Fe.
