Dr. Crystal Robyn Abramczyk, DDS, MS, FAGD, NMD, IBDM, AIAOMT graduated from Rockwall High School then attended Baylor University where she earned a B.S. in Education. She completed two years of clinical research at the Retina Foundation of the Southwest in Dallas, Texas and studied retinal diseases in the retinal degeneration laboratory. She earned a M.S. in Biomedical Sciences in Human and Molecular Genetics from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. She co-authored many publications during her research experiences.
In 2006, she enrolled in the doctor of dental surgery program at Baylor College of Dentistry. She was a member of the Student Research Group and won the student research award as well as presented her research at the prestigious Hinman Dental Meeting in Memphis, Tennessee.
We believe we are whole beings and the mouth is connected to the head, neck and entire body. Treating the individual goes far beyond the teeth. Our treatment philosophy is holistic and we prefer natural, minimalistic remedies. Many issues we face in dentistry are controversial and we are transparent in our beliefs and treatment options.
We DO NOT use toxic fillings or substances such as mercury fillings, fluoride, metal/gold crowns and bridges. Mercury or amalgam fillings are not and have never been placed in our office. We do not recommend them and follow a strict protocol for safe removal to ensure minimal exposure for our patients and staff. We are opposed to fluoride. We do not use it in our sealants or fillings and it is not in the toothpastes we sell. Dr. Abramczyk DDS, FAGD, MS, AIAOMT restores teeth with biocompatible materials, such as zirconia, and does not recommend crowns or bridges that are made of metal.

I would not recommend this dentist I went to have basic care covered by insurance & ended up not getting that care. On top of that they charged for things not covered by insurance. Going here will cost you more than you Expected

Well I wasn't going to share my horrible experience but now since they want to send me a "bill" I guess I shall. I started using Smile Ranch Dentistry because they were labeled as "holistic". Well unfortunately that's not the case what so ever. They told me (March 2021) my 5 year old had 13 cavities and needed to be put to sleep for it for about 2 hours. I went to get two other opinions before someone was actually honest with me. She had 6 cavities, did not need to be put to sleep. I should have known better and read the reviews before trusting this place. I had to learn the hard way. So many people have experienced the same thing I have and it's a shame. I haven't been back since March 2021, all my stuff was paid up and today I'm receiving this bill in the mail. Im livid and sickened by this business! I also had a traumatic experience with my 7 year old son here. Plus the 6 or 7 cavities she filled for my son, which who knows if that's even what he really had. Those have come out and he had to have more work on those. I've seen several people say the same thing about her fillings. I still have fillings in my mouth that were put in as a child. I don't know what to say really. It's depressing to see a snake oil salesman clinic promotes itself as health conscious, holistic (more like a**holistic I should say) and chemicals free. They give you confidence to take their advices seriously and trust them. You end up being asked to perform procedures that were totally unnecessary. What is holistic about maiming someone by removing their wisdom teeth? There was absolutely no problem with mine. Fillings were also unjustified. All of your products are snake oil, there is no scientific proof to support any of these. Overpriced garbage.

They are almost as bad as other conventional dentists except that regular dentists don't force sell you unnecessary overpriced products. If you are claiming to be holistic and still a big pusher of wisdom teeth removal, I am sorry but you have no idea what you are talking about. A bunch of money traps and unnecessary fillings. Stay away!

We drive 2 hours to see Dr A and her amazing team. Rebecca makes coordinating a breeze and Brandy is a wealth of knowledge on holistic treatments. No doctor has ever been so kind and patient with my child as Dr A - we absolutely love her.

So we were quoted 1600 for my son to have a crown put on. Then during the surgery the dentist decided to fix two cavities without consulting us first. Ended up costing 2200 which we did t agree too. That is wrong in so many ways. You weren't given permission to fix something else. You can't just do this do customers. In my line of work if we fix something without giving a quote to customer we could possibly lose a customer. Just like yall just did, its unprofessional and unacceptable. Glad to see they don't care about customer satisfaction and only care about more money in their pockets.

I believe having good teeth is connected to the whole rest of the body, and so do they. Couldn't recommend Smile Ranch more highly!!! :)

I don't know why there are Bible verses on their website because Dr. Abramczyk is demon possessed! My wife called her to ask her some questions before actually becoming a patient. Dr. Abramczyk was super rude, had the worst attitude ever, yelled at her for calling, but worst of all she said "I couldn't care less about your problem!". This shows her true character, this lady is all about the money and has ZERO LOVE for her patients (which also explains all the other negative reviews saying she lied to them and tried to get them to buy procedures that they didn't actually need). One look at her botox filled face and you can tell that Dr. Abramczyk is a selfish, self-centered miserable old woman who only cares about her looks, her status, and her money.

What a beautiful group of ladies! My prayers were answered, above and beyond, and I am so so grateful. Dr. A is such a true heaven sent and everyone in her staff is very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their approach with my 21 month old was so gentle and loving, and they thoroughly listened to my concerns, made me feel like I was family, put my mind at ease, gave emotional support, were positive, answered all of my many questions and guided me in the right direction. I live in Florida and visit family in Texas and I haven't been able to find a dentist that truly cares for each individual and does so naturally, with products that are healing in every way and not detrimental to my babies health. One of THE BEST doctors I have met in decades. I recommend wholeheartedly 100% and I will definitely be traveling for my daughter to be helped by this true healer.

I was warned, but I did not listen. A few friends and family tried this dentist office and said the office personnel were awful. I am pretty easy to get along with and thought it would be worth the holistic approach to dentistry. Boy, was I wrong! I just read these poor reviews here and agree with them all. I would have to write a mini-novel to explain all the issues. To sum it up: (1) We had scheduling issues when we showed up (2) They told us we had a ton of cavities between the 6 of us in my family. (When I went back to my old dentist who we moved away from, I got a different story. We will just be making the commute back to the old dentist from now on!) (3) WARNING: DO NOT SIGN PAPERS IF THEY TELL YOU PROCEDURES ARE COVERED AND IT'S JUST A FORMALITY TO SIGN THEM. They are dishonest and trick you into paying more... We are on a very tight budget. I requested my family and I only have done what our insurance covers 100%. This is what I have done for the last 15 years without any issue at my other dentist office/ doctor offices without any issue. We were told to just sign the consent paper that we are responsible if insurance doesn't pay as a formality- that our insurance did cover these procedures 100%. I made a big to-do here because we could not afford to do anything extra. I was very upfront about this. Now, they want to "settle" for a discounted amount. I will have to for my ignorance in believing them when they said it was covered, but just sign it as a formality. I could go into more negative details but this gives enough warning to stay away. This is not an honest place you want to do business with.
