Dr. David Jenkins is a native of Jackson, Georgia. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Valdosta State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He achieved his dental degree from the Dental College of Georgia (also known as the Medical College of Georgia) in Augusta, Georgia.
Dr. Jenkins currently serves within the following professional organizations, The American Dental Association, The Georgia Dental Association, The Central District Dental Association, and The Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Jenkins finds great value in continuing education and has pursued higher specialty education in several areas of dentistry such as oral surgery, endodontics (root canals), restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, implant dentistry, and much more.
Dr. Jenkins is very passionate about people and is a strong advocate for community collaboration and youth mentorship. He enjoys enhancing, empowering, and uplifting people through serving as a speaker for the following entities: churches, corporate events, athletic programs, and schools. He finds pleasure in reading, attending dental courses, personal fitness, mentoring young and aspiring youth, and spending quality time with family and friends in his spare time.

We love Dr. Jenkins and his lovely staff. After our appointment, my 12 year old said Dr. Jenkins was way cooler than our former dentist. I'll take that as a win!

We were so happy with our experience at the dentist! Both my husband and I went and were greeted by a professional and phenomenal staff. We have both had not so great dental experiences before at other places, but they blew our expectations out of the water! From the front desk, to the supportive staff, to Dr. Jenkins, they provide a welcoming environment! They provide you with important information about your service and ensure that you're on the same page every step of the way. We would and have recommended them!

My experience at Smile Parlor on today was nothing short of Awesome!!!!. Dr. J was professional and displayed plenty of patience with me. His assistant Gabriel was Wonderful to say the least. They were very encouraging and efficient being that anxiety was trying to get the best of me. The front office staff was very helpful and so reassuring. Not that I enjoyed getting my teeth deep cleaned but when it had to be done, I knew I was going here. The staff is super sweet and Dr. Jenkins is great. You can't ask for a better dentist. Highly recommend!

I needed a cleaning and reached out to 3 different dentists on SATURDAY. They answered on a SATURDAY!!! They were able to squeeze me in at the last minute on Tuesday. Dr. Keith was really cool and easy to talk to. His office staff were very polite a d professional!!!

I was very nervous when I visited the Smile Parlor my first visit, Dr. Jenkins and his staff are very nice and extremely caring. I love the environment, the energy is just breath taking they make you feel like right at home. Dr David Jenkins will be my dentist.

Love my "assigned" hygienist and Dr. Jenkins was super friendly and personable . Front office staff may need to work on greeting people with a simple hello instead of - "what's your name" as soon as you walk through the door! Otherwise, no complaints and I would recommend them.

Dr. Jenkins and his staff did an outstanding job of making my first visit to their office a great one. This was the first time in my life I had a cavity but it ended up being my wisdom tooth. They recommended I get it removed and to their credit, they got it out without any sharp pain. I will absolutely be returning for hopefully years to come! Thanks for everything Smile Parlor!

Dr. Jenkins was great!! The staff is very friendly and very welcoming. They get you in and out as quickly as possible, even with my million & two questions. I am loving my new crown that fits like a glove. The hygienist was also very gentle and had me in and out within no time. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area.

I don't leave my house now. I came in with broken teeth and left with nubs. I paid over $5700 up front. Why would they do this to anyone? This has affected my new job, my self confidence, and finances. My temps were taken out over 4 times and refitted...why? My final crowns were slanted and protruding. They started popping out after 2 days and I'd have to travel 1.5 hours each time to have them recement. The cost to fix the damage is so high. How heartbreaking... Update: Please read Dr. Jenkin's response before you visit his office. He takes no accountability. Something is definitely up with that office. He's cycled through 2 sets of staff since Dec 2021. Of course I cried over the phone. Who wouldn't cry after being victimized? But never, ever would I be vulgar with his staff. It's not my style. I'm always kind to staff. We joked and laughed during my visits. So...yeah. Not sure where that came from. Point blank. He won't admit he screwed up, next lashed out when I posted this review. Finally, he slandered my character. Ok...that doesn't seem problematic. Wow! Just know it happened to me, it could happen to you.
