Dr. Paul Ponczaholds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Michigan and Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He has been practicing in Chicago since graduation.Dr. Ponczais capable in performing in all fields of dentistry including cosmetic, endodontic, periodontic, oral surgery, implant dentistry, and fixed and removable prosthodontic. He has extensive dental training and brings the latest techniques and dental materials in the field of dentistry to his patients.
Besides being a skillful general dentist, Dr. Poncza has extensive training in Oral Appliance Therapy for the treatment for Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. He holds recognition as a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Over the past several yearsDr. Ponczahas successfully treated hundreds of patients suffering from snoring, Upper Airway Resistant Syndrome as well as mild, moderate and severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Ponczais a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Illinois Sleep Society, American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Polish Medical Association.
Dr. Jason McDonaldjoined the Smile On team in July of 2016. A Chicago native, Dr. McDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Promotion from the University of Iowa and Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
After graduation Dr. McDonald returned to Chicago where he has been practicing general and family dentistry for nearly a decade. He is capable in performing in all fields of dentistry includingcosmetic, endodontic, periodontic, oral surgery, implant dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, Invisalign and Botox.Dr. McDonald believes in balancing efficient, excellent dentistry and developing strong relationships with his patients. In order to achieve this, he stays up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technology by regularly attending continuing educational courses.
Dr. Nicole Kujawa is a passionate dentist who thrives to provide exceptional dental care in a fun and easy-going environment. She graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with an undergraduate degree in biology as well as having received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette.
After graduation, Dr. Kujawa returned to her native Chicagoland area where she has been providing the best care for patients, whom she treats like family. Dr. Kujawa is certified in Invisalign and committed to giving her patients the perfect smile. She attends regular continuing educational courses in the newest dental technology in order to provide her patients with the best care.

Expect to be lied to about your dental claims and then sent to collections. Even if you check in several times with the billing manager. Seriously, the worst. Unbelievable poor billing practices.

I love this Lake View dental center. I've never actually looked forward to visiting the dentist until I started coming here. The staff, hygienists, and doctors are all so friendly and attentive. My previous dentist would simply tell me that I needed a procedure without explaining why. At Smile On, my doctor will walk me through everything. The care and treatment I receive from them is second to none.

I've been going here for about 5 years and I absolutely made the right choice in this dentist! The place is very cozy and clean. The receptionists are very lovely and welcoming. The dental assistants are also wonderful especially Renee! And then there is Dr. Poncza, probably the best dentist I've ever had! He always greets you and really listens to your concerns. I highly recommend this dentistry!

Finding a dentist in a new city is never easy, but I got super lucky because SmileOn is great! The staff are always friendly and everything runs on schedule, which is unfortunately rare in the healthcare space. Always great, in-and-out service without feeling rushed. I've been coming here for 5 years now and hope I never have to switch to a new dentist.

Are your teeth on the verge of spilling out of your head? Do you have a jumbled mess of yellow chompers that gather a ton of plaque? I had some of the worst teeth you could imagine being held captive by plaque, gingivitis, and sadness. Thanks to the very knowledgeable and supportive doctors, and a solid dental schedule, my teeth have improved to the point where I can live comfortably with myself again. No more shouting expletives while trying to enjoy a cold bowl of ice cream, no more screaming in frustration as I bled out while flossing, and no more comments from people asking me if I brushed my teeth shortly after I had just brushed my teeth. Afraid of sounding like an grade A dingus? Dental questions at Smile On Dental will not only be answered quickly and correctly, but they don't have that snooty condescending tone many dentists have when answering questions about teeth and such. There is no judgement that you haven't studied dentistry for years like the guy your parents forced you to go to when you were 8 who smelled of cigarettes. The bottom line is that no one likes getting their teeth cleaned. It's a rough time. But Smile On Dental has found a way from turning it from a dreadful experience into a hopeful one. In the year that I've been going to Smile On Dental, I've laughed, I've learned, and I've bled. But most importantly, I've started to smile.

This was a great experience. Hadn't been to the dentist in very long, but felt very well taken care of. The whole staff was very welcoming, very clear in what they were doing and why, and made me feel like I was in very trustworthy hands the whole time. Wholeheartedly recommend.
