Dr. Amogh Velangi is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over 10 years of operating experience. He began his career at New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry where he earned membership in the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He completed his residency at NYU medical center & Bellevue Hospital. Dr Velangi has been practicing in Phoenix, Arizona since 2011 with Valley Oral Surgery which is one of the largest dental specialty groups in the state. He also holds operating privileges at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. He continues to lead and educate his colleagues, and continues to push his own knowledge in pursuit of the pinnacle of patient care.
Dr Velangi is a nationally known specialist and his area of expertise includes complex implant & bone reconstruction. With thousands of successful implant cases, Dr. Velangis experience is relied upon locally by the most clinically recognized leaders in Dentistry including Nobel Biocare. He has lectured nationally on topics ranging from single tooth implant therapy to full mouth implant reconstruction, All on 4 implant solution, general anesthesia and complex grafting and reconstruction of the jaw.Dr. Velangi is an expert in rare and complex cases that demand unparalleled skill and a mastery of the latest in Dental technology. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Shaw grew up in northern Indiana and graduated from Indiana University in 1997 with a B.S. in Biology. He attended IU dental school and graduated top ten in his class with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2002. He worked as an associate dentist for two years before purchasing a private practice in Plymouth IN. in 2005. There, he was able to offer comprehensive treatment to his patients until he sold in 2019. He is a firm believer in keeping up with continuing education to offer the best treatment and techniques available in dentistry. He is one of only 5,500 dentists in the U.S., that is Chao Pinhole gum rejuvenation certified.
Upon moving to Arizona, Dr. Shaw knew he wanted to be part of a team that provided their patients with The most advanced treatment options available to restore their bite and smiles. He has found that compassionate and caring team at Smile Now.
In his off time, he and his wife like to hike and explore the outdoors. His interests are playing guitar, golfing, and listening to music. Just recently, he and his wife(Pina) and two dogs Enzo and Rocco have been spending summer weekends taking his RV up north exploring what the high country has to offer, and has not been disappointed.

Unfortunately I don't really have a right to give a bad review because the stuff they offer me was to help me and they were under no right to even help me, but they didn't go through with all of what they offered me and it has made me 100 times more depressed than when I had broken teeth. I probably wouldn't be as depressed is I wasn't promise something in my hopes, then brought up right after losing my daughter. So that I guess was my fault and I am more upset with my self for having hope that something would go right in my life after that. So probably can say that they most likely do a great job if you're not broke and are able to pay for those kind of procedures.

When I went to Smile Now, I was immediately impressed by the warm reception and knowledgeable staff! The Doctors and ancillary staff explained the process and procedures in detail and the time-line to completion for the whole process. The extraction and placement of the temporary teeth were completed the same day with relative ease. I was extremely pleased with my final results.

Wow! This is an amazing facility. With being someone who never had a cavity until I was in my 30's, to an extremely horrible experience at another facility getting porcelain veneers, it was a breath of fresh air coming here! After visiting here and feeling comfortable that they knew what they were doing, I made the decision to have "all on 4" permanent dental implants done. I couldn't have been more pleased. I left there after surgery on day one with all new temporary teeth that they prepared in their own state of art facility in house. After adhering to a soft diet while healing from surgery, I returned and had the permanent ones placed. Again, made by them in their in house facility. I wanted my new teeth to look like my previous teeth (original) and they did exactly that! People can't even tell I have implants. Blake, Danielle and the entire staff were amazing and made me feel comfortable from day one. I can now eat what I want and not have to worry about any of my teeth breaking off like they did after having the vaneers put on. If you want to have things done right by an organization that knows what they're doing and genuinely care about you then look no further. This is the place to go. I highly recommend them to everyone I come across looking for the best care and oh, I proudly show my teeth to anyone who wants to see what fine work they do. 5++++ Stars!

The staff was amazing they guided me through the process every step of the way. Today everyone compliments my smile from my girlfriend to my mother and friends everywhere. I asked about financing and got what I think was not only an amazing deal but kindness that the competition you know who they are never provided. I went to the competition first made calls to other places but it was everyone on the team here who made the experience fabulous. I am so grateful I feel blessed to have found smile now.. today I don't just smile now I smile always .. everyone I know say hey If I could get a smile like that I would .. finally my health has improved all my blood work numbers are amazing ., Thank you Smile Now Arizona for helping me smile again..

Met with Dr. Blake a few months back....he took xray and told me to remove all my teeth and get implants. Saw another dentist for a second opinion and they were able to save my teeth. Maybe focus on patient care over $$.
