Dr. Brad Jacobs grew up in Southlake, Texas, between Dallas and Fort Worth. He went to Baylor University, in Waco, for his undergraduate studies and on to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas for his D.D.S. In 2002, he received his masters degree in dental sciences at the University of Connecticut Health Center and also earned his specialty certificate in orthodontics.
Since moving to Chattanooga, Dr. Jacobs has been involved with the Chattanooga Area Dental Society, Tennessee Dental Association, American Dental Association, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Jacobs continues to learn about the latest advances in orthodontics by attending educational meetings, lectures, and seminars around the country to provide the best care possible.

Dr. Walters grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania. She received her bachelors degree from Villanova University and then completed her dental education at The University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Walters earned her masters degree, along with her specialty certificate in orthodontics, from The University of Connecticut at the same time as her husband, Dr. Brad Jacobs.
Dr. Walters is active in the American Association of Orthodontists, Southeastern Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. She practices with Dr. Jacobs part-time and spends her time away from work chasing their two boys and baby girl.
She enjoys running, pilates, basketball, and snowboarding and is an avid college football/basketball fan. Dr. Walters has a very gentle manner and has dedicated herself to offering the very highest quality orthodontic care to patients.
Dr. Peach grew up in a small town in Eastern Washington and attended college in Walla Walla, WA. He completed a one-year residency in General Dentistry at Barksdale Air Force Base and two years of active duty at Lowry Air Force Base after attending dental school at Loma Linda University. He then returned to Loma Linda for his Masters of Science in Orthodontics and graduated in 1994.
All of our doctors have very similar conservative treatment philosophies, and he will be a great addition to the Smile More Orthodontic practice. He enjoys Eastern Tennessee and is happy to bring his wife back to the area where she grew up and still has a family.

I absolutely love smile more orthodontics. Not only have they taken great care of my daughter's braces, they are the friendliest group of people. I think it's fantastic that the person who answers the phone is also capable of pulling my daughter's chart and answering all questions I have. I absolutely rely on having the payment plan as insurance wouldn't pay for my daughter's braces. They are fantastic at making appointments available to fit your schedule and keeping appointment times quick and easy. I appreciate the folks at smile more orthodontics for making it possible to fix my daughter's smile.

We love Smile More Orthodontics. Our second daughter is in braces and we are excited to see her beautiful smile soon. They are always friendly, and the staff is helpful. Scheduling is a breeze. They know our names, and the result is worth it. I heartily recommend them.

Top ten reasons we LOVE Smile More Orthodontics in HIXSON. 10- All of the assistants are AWESOME, and they make extra sure that all wires are clipped short and don't scrape and cut your jaw. Out of two years, my daughter only complained 1 time of a wire. 9- Short wait times. We never waited long and it was great to get in and out quickly. 8- Customers were king/queens. Colors, patterns, etc... kids get to pick and make choices which gives them comfort to have some autonomy in their treatment. 7- Office Management-- Holy Moly, Laurie was patient with us. We had to cancel a lot and rescheduled a ton. Life happens. Never ever was there one ounce of frustration or hesitance when we needed a different appointment. These guys are very flexible and understand things happen in this world that require extra kindness and patience. 6- $$$--- Look, we all know braces aren't cheap but you will get special treatment throughout your whole process and these professionals make you feel like you have spent way more than you actually have. 5- Dr. Jacobs knows kids. She communicates well with the parents and helps us to understand the treatment plan, the consequences if the teeth aren't corrected, and how to map out the specialized plan. 4- Communication with rubber bands and additional mouth instructions during treatment plan. We received pictures on how to connect bands for those of us who need it. 3- Retainers are invisible and high quality. 2- Team work makes the dream work. This location is a team that works together and makes the visits as fun as they can. 1- AND THE NUMBER 1 reason we LOVE SMILE MORE IS..... STRAIGHT BEAUTIFUL TEETH brought BIG smiles to our family!! This place is the bomb.com!!! I had my permanent retainer fall out and they were able to get me in the day after to fix it and it only took about 20 minutes. I had orthodontist work done at the University of Minnesota (where I'm originally from) but they were so nice and willing to put it back in for me. Laurie, who works at the front desk is so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
