Born and raised in Fiji Islands until the age of 12, Dr. Shivani Kant was always an eager child watching her dad practice dentistry. She graduated from Shorecrest High School in Shoreline and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Washington. She continued to pursue the career path she had dreamed of as a child and completed her dental education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, being one of the youngest in her class.
Dr. Kant, who is fluent is Hindi has provided care to those who are often times overlooked in our community. Her kindness has enabled her to be a volunteer dental provider at Provail Dental Clinic which provides dental care to people with disabilities. She actively passes on her special caregiving skills and dental knowledge by teaching dental and hygiene students at Provail Dental Clinic.
Dr. Shivani loves creating and designing smiles so much that she is always thinking about teeth; teeth are truly her passion. Dr. Shivani practices cosmetic dentistry, which emphasizes the whole picture to ensure a patient 's teeth look good, feel great, and function like natural teeth. One of her favorite sayings is, 'I can make you love your smile!'.
When Dr. Kant is not involved with dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two kids, Siana and Shayden. She enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, has a new obsession for practicing yoga, and trying new restaurants! She has recently taken up a new challenge for golfing. She is a true Seattle sports fanatic. Whether its Seahawks, Sounders, Mariners or the Huskies, you will always hear her cheer loud!

I purchased 'Comprehensive orthodontic treatment' using Invisalign here, and PAID IN FULL. Nearing what was supposed to be the end of my treatment, things weren't aligning correctly and I was told it would be just under $2,000 more to complete the treatment. Numerous other red flags were thrown through out my time with this office, they should have been clues. I had assumed they would honor what I had purchased and have in writing. Now that I've requested specific records for the Invisalign corporation themselves to review, multiple respectful attempts to contact them have gone unanswered. They are very good at putting the blame on the patient and not taking responsibility for their own poor business practices. - now that I've left my review, will you be sending that Starbucks card to me? Or are you only offering those out to positive, incentivized reviews? Sincerely, -Out $4,000 + whatever it's going to cost me to fix and finish what you started.

Everyone in here is so nice even if I'm a couple minutes late to my appointment. Ladies that work the front desk will check my account and even text you on the automated messaging system if you reply to it. They have always been helpful and make accommodations if you have dental anxiety as well. Recently was shopping around dentists and found this place and I would say I'm here for good !

I am very happy with choosing to go to Smile Marysville! Smile Marysville is so friendly and has an amazing environment where you feel welcomed with such amazing group! Love how they are quick on what type of plan is needed as well with booking appointments fast, unlike other dentist locations that it takes months to get an appointment.

Such wonderful ladies! This was my first time coming to the dentist after a long time. My dental assistant, doctor and receptionist are all so wonderful and kind. They were very patient! I'd highly reccomend coming here!
