I appreciate multiculturalism, which has greatly influenced my decision to settle in Pennsylvania. I originally studied Life Sciences and Microbiology to become a scientist. However, I became fascinated by the diverse dynamics of dentistry and had to change my career path. After receiving my doctorate of dental medicine from Case Western Reserve University, I continue to explore and expand my fascination of dentistry. In practice, I have found educating patients and performing thorough follow-ups often leads to optimal dental health. My favorite areas of dentistry are cosmetic and pediatric care.
I was born in South Korea and moved to Maryland when I was in middle school. After completing my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park, I moved to the snowy state of Utah. I knew I was passionate about the sciences and healthcare in general. It was in Utah that I fell in love with dentistry. Here I pursued and received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Roseman University of Health Sciences.I took an opportunity to extend my training in General Dentistry through an amazing residency at Temple University of Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. Needless to say, I fell in love with PA.
I grew up in Delaware County, PA. At an early age, I fell in love with PA and academics. I eventually found my way into Temple University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and later earned my doctorate in dental medicine at the prestigious Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing arts and crafts, and spending quality time with my husband, daughter, and the family dog. Recommend to anyone looking for dental work I've been to a couple dentist because either money was an issue or the service was rude and unwelcoming ...but this place made me feel comfortable even tho I was so nervous to get my teeth pulled there doctor assured me everything would be okay and I thank him for that can't wait to go back and fix the rest if my teeth

Very professional. Very courteous. Very clean. Works with you on scheduling. The kids love it when we take them to their appointments here. If they feel uncomfortable, after interacting with staff, they feel at ease. I am thankful for being recommended by my insurance. I would definitely refer my friends and family especially if they have kids. Thank you!

Bedside manner was phenomenal. For myself avoiding the recommended annual dental check ups, i finally gave in and made an appointment with this practice. Everyone , and I do emphasize everyone pertaining to the employees, were extremely professional and walked me through ever procedure they were going to do in layman's terms not even knowing I already had a medical background. The exuberance in the amount of patience they maintained, in spite of a very belligerent customer was astounding. Not only that, but they have a tremendous amount of humor that any guest that walks through the door will be immediately at ease. I highly recommend. And for the side note, I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS of any kind; whether good or bad

By far the best experience I ever had at a dentist office. Went there for extractions and dentures and was very satisfied with the service they provided and the dentures I received. Very courteous and professional staff. They are concerned about your needs and eager to help. Other dental offices could learn from smilemakers.

It's clean the staff is nice but it's false advertising I have a broken tooth it needed to come out on their website they state they do surgical extraction but they don't my appt was later in the day I figured it would be handled it wasn't I have to go else for extraction mean time I'm in PAIN too late in the day to find another dentist to do it not very happy at all

Great first experience. I hadn't been to a dentist in a number of years and had a lot of anxiety surrounding my visit. I was able to get an appointment to start dealing with my broken tooth immediately (an hour and a half from phone call). I can't say enough good about this dental practice.

Wow! This place is amazing! Highly recommend! They go above and beyond, truly cared about me & my teeth. Very detailed check-up on the 4 visits I had so far with a few more to come. From setting up the appointments, the reminder calls/texts, the visits, the front desk staff, hygienists & dentist super nice & very professional! Very clean & sanitary. Working on my temp crowns & I cried because they look so beautiful & gave me a boost of confidence! I can't wait until my permanent crowns arrive & are placed in!
