After majoring in Biology at Arizona State University, Dr. Chan braved the cold winters by attending dental school at the University of Pittsburgh and simultaneously completed a Masters in Public Health. Dr. Chan made the journey back to the west side of the US by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Half Moon Bay and Oakland, California, and working in Indian Health Services.
In dental school, she learned that she had a passion for volunteering and helping underserved communities when studying for her Masters. Dr. Chan went on a dental mission trip, donated free dental work over the last 10 years through Give Kids a Smile, and volunteered at the Chandler Care Center.
Amanda has worked in dentistry for over 10 years and is also an Arizona native. She welcomes all patients with her soothing demeanor and vast knowledge in dental finances. Her time outside of work is spent with her husband, son and dog.

We follow all OSHA protocol for sterilization of our instruments. After each use, instruments and handpieces undergo ultrasonic cleaning, rinsing, and sterilized in the latest autoclave. Our autoclave is monitored regularly according to our local spore testing company.

Every staff member wears proper personal protective equipment including masks, goggles, shields, jackets and new gloves for every patient. We also undergo regular training for OSHA, BLS CPR, HIPAA and bloodborne pathogens.
