My passion to utilize my skills to help people and give back to the community was what led me into dentistry. It is my goal to better peoples oral health and ultimately to improve their overall health through great care we give at Smile Life Dental. I like to create a friendly environment for my patients and build good relationships with them by being attentive to their concerns and needs, being honest, and answering any questions they may have. I also put great importance in being up-to-date on the latest scientifically proven dentistry in order to provide the best care possible.

Outside the Office I was born in Seoul, South Korea but moved to the states after finishing middle school. I have been living in the Boston area since 2003 and became a huge fan of Boston sports teams Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics. I love spending time with my family, watching sports and movies, exercising, and snowboarding.
Emily earned her bachelors degree at the University of New England in Maine and has been living in Somerville since graduating from hygiene school in 2011. She loves living close to the city but enjoys visiting her family in Maine, especially her niece, Vivian. Getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable is Emilys favorite part of her profession.

Thanks to CEREC technology, we can offer many services on the same day. CEREC is a CAD/CAM (computer aided design/computer aided manufacture) procedure that allows us to prep and place your permanent restorations all in one day.

I have been coming here for years and it's like a second family. Currently I am having a tooth implant done. I was very nervous, but Melissa and Dr. Lee assured me that everything will be fine and put my mind at ease. Throughout the procedure, they kept checking with me to make sure that I was ok. Needless to say, it went smooth and Dr. Lee did a great job.

Have never had a fear of the dentist until I came here. From my first cleaning here Dr.Lee told me I needed a lot of extensive dental work not explaining why I needed any of this in the first place. I left my regular cleaning in excruciating pain. I then proceeded to have 2 deep cleaning treatments that they recommended for me and the first one went perfectly fine I don't know who I saw but she was wonderful and very gentle then the second time I had Dr.Lee and I was left with my mouth bleeding profusely and in extreme pain.To top it all off they cancel my annual cleaning in December without telling me and said I will need to come in 3 times a year to have these deep cleaning treatments . I will definitely not be coming back to this office anyone considering coming here stay clear .

I've been going to Smile Life for quite a while now and from the moment you walk in till you exit you're made to feel special. They have done wonders for my teeth providing me with the knowledge and tools needed to make the best decisions for my dental health. 5 stars does are not enough!!!

Great service, I sincerely feel that they want what's best for my teeth. They're always giving me tips on brushing and sharing knowledge so I know how to keep my mouth clean. I've never felt this way about my past dentists. Been going here for about 5 years and I won't go anywhere else if I'm living in MA.

I didn't know it was possible to love a dental team until I started getting seen by Smile Life Dental. The team is thorough, personable, and so attentive to my needs. Dr. Lee, Emily, and Laura are incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. I would highly recommend Smile Life Dental!

It was my first time using Smile Life Dental, and it won't be my last! They were great in so many ways. Our insurance was running out and I still had money left and had a big procedure I needed to do. Not only did they do a great professional job they did it the next day so I could use the remainder of my insurance. But honestly the staff and the doctor walked me through the entire procedure because really no one hates the dentist more than me. And that is from my childhood. I didn't feel 1 ounce of pain and they did a great job with my " dental anxiety" People need to try them, they are great.

Everyone hates going to the dentist. But this office is great. The people,front desk receptionist and my Hygenist Emily are awesome. The dentist is great too.
