Compassionate, kind and definitely the Smile behind Smile Keepers, Dr. Lewis truly is a special person. Her repoire with her patients matched with her skill and ability to make even the most anxious person feel comforted will keep all your visits with us a positive experience. Dr. Lewis graduated in 1992 from University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor Degree in Dental Hygiene Science. Although she provided excellent hygiene care for her patients she continued to feel a longing to go the extra mile. In May of 1998 Dr. Lewis realized her dream and attained her second Degree, this time as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (dentist). She found her way to Owosso in October of 2004 and fell in love with the staff and the people of this community. She officially made the practice her own in June of 2005 and Smile Keepers became her home away from home. Her many credentials include being a member of the Michigan Dental Association, Detroit Dental Society and the American Dental Association. She is also a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course and the Pride institute. . To make sure she is always providing you with the most comprehensive and cutting edge care, she has attended and continues to attend several hours of continuing education . Aside from dentist, creative would be a good description of Dr. Lewis. Anything from reupholstering to flower arrangements to fashion, she has an energy and spunk for life that is an inspiration to us all. With Peacocks being her personal Mascot she adds color to all she sets out to accomplish. Dr. Lewis has 2 children Carson and Alexis who round out her life.

Connie shares her passion and her love for people with Smile Keepers. She has been in the dental field for almost 40 years and joined Smile Keepers in 2005. Her vast experience and knowledge aids in assessing the needs and care of our patients, overseeing daily tasks as well as the management of the office and staff. She is a member of AADOM (American Academy of Dental Office Managers), and embraces growth, considers herself a lifelong learner and strives to help Smile Keepers provide a dental experience with a 'WOW' factor. She is an advocate for exceptional care and comfort for all our patients. Connie truly values her beautiful family. Tony, her husband of 40 years, 3 adult children, 2 son-in-laws, 5 grandchildren keep her life full of activity and keep her heart full. . Spending any moment she can steal away with her beautiful grandchildren is her first choice of fun. Other times you will find her in her flower garden, camping, swinging, reading, or having coffee with friends. Connie loves all things music and plays guitar, keyboards and can shake a mean tambourine. A little secret about Connie...she created and maintains the beautiful gardens at Smile Keepers.

Since Laura was a little girl, she has dreamed of being a dental hygienist. This dream was realized when she joined Smile Keepers in 2004.. To say Laura is enthusiastic about her endeavors in life wouldbe an understatement. When Laura is not at Smile Keepers, sharing her skills and passion for dentistry, Laura is busy making memories with her husband Jason, their children (#2 is on the way) . Harlee, an Australian Shepherd, rounds out the family. Lauras number 1 priority is taking care of her family and home and gardens. Lauras generous heart has been revealed several times when she donates her ''locks' to Wigs 4 Kids every couple of years. Laura lives by the statement dont judge others. Laura was Dr. Lewis first employee at Smile Keepers and is definitely one of the reasons we 'Smile' at Smile Keepers!!

Leighann came to our practice in 2012. She has been in the dental field for over 19 yrs as a dental assistant. She and her husband Jim were married in April of 2012 and enjoy life on the farm on Jim's family farmhouse, enjoying the beautiful fields of farming. Her daughter, Madelyn, is pursuing an education in college. Leighann spends her free time reading, decorating, enjoying her she-shed and spending time with family. She has a warm and welcoming personality and you will quickly feel like a friend with her. Over the years Leighann has had many different 'hats' in the office but most of the time you will see her sitting chairside with Dr. Lewis assisting in providing outstanding clinical support. She believes that life is too short to get up in the nonsense of the little 'bumps in life' and challenges others to just enjoy every moment....as she does!

Jessica is a Registered Dental Assistant and comes to Smile Keepers with a heart of gold. Starting out as a patient at Smile Keepers, Dr. Lewis saw something special about her and the rest is...well...history. Learning and growing both professionally and personally is her style. She earned her Associates of Applied Science Degree in Dental Assisting, followed by her RDA(Registered Dental Assistant) licensure in 2014. Jessica loves to share and utilize ALL she can. . You will find Jessica in tandem with Dr. Lewis chairside, explaining the treatment and keeping you comfortable throughout your visit. Jessica is a busy Mom of three and loves to adventure with them. We are certain that having a creative, artistic mommy like her brings loads of fun to the family. Smile Keepers is blessed by her 'sparkle' and creativity too!

When describing Serra, its easy to say she is thorough and attentive to the care she provides for her patients, and even easier to say she is one of the kindestand easiest staff to work with we have. Serra joined Smile Keepers in 2017 as a part-time hygienist and we quickly knew that we wanted her with us every day going to full-time shortly after. Serra brings calmness to the busiest of days, never has a harsh word to say, andmodels the smile at Smile Keepers so well. Serra loves all things natural and she always has an idea on how we can all live a healthier life. Her little boy Alden brings adventure and fun to her life. Serra is a gem!

As you enter Smile Keepers Mary Celeste will be the first Smile you see and usually the first person you will speak to on the phone. Mary Celeste has been in the dental field since 2001 and joined Smile Keepers in 2020. For most of her career she spent dental assisting. She brings a wealth of dental knowledge and a lot of fun to the office. She loves a good joke, a good laugh, and a practical joke here and there but dont let that fool you, she is serious about being knowledgeable for our patients in the areas of insurance and financials for our patients benefit. Mary Celeste greatest joy is her family which includes being Moomy to 4 granddaughters (one set of twins) and 2 grandsons. Smile Keepers is an even happier place with Mary Celeste up front.
