Would not recommend especially if you have private insurance. The treatment plan said my daughter had 10 cavities and that she needed crowns and root canals. My daughter was 8 years old and all this work was in baby teeth. Went to get a second opinion and turns out my daughter only had two cavities and didn't need any of the work that this place suggested. Don't recommend

Dr. Williams is an amazing dentist. Before covid yes everyone was welcomed to come in and have a seat in the lobby while the children were being seen and during covid the parents were to stay put in the car to keep contact down. I have a 4 yr old who was seen today, I was given the option to go in with her (I didn't because I trust him and his team.) I also have a 12 yr old who was seen same day and time and she as well went in alone. There's no difference in seated in the lobby and the car. Thank you for working through covid and making sure these children teeth and gums are in good health.

Me and my husband made an appointment for both of our daughters at the same time on the same day months ago. However, when we tried to bring them in they only allowed one parent. That makes sense if it's only one child, however, with a three year old in one bed screaming and a 7 year old in another trying to answer her own questions from the nurse, it was a horrible awful experience. If they were two kids from anywhere else they would have had a parent for each. Even during COVID!! But since they were sisters it's not allowed? Especially with a toddler? That makes no sense.

The BEST dental office for kids!! After a long search, I'm pleased to say we hit the jackpot with Smile Kannapolis!! The staff is friendly and attentive and it's such a warm and caring environment! All of my questions/ concerns were answered very professionally and the dentist, Dr. Williams did a fantastic job!! It's a great place for little ones (the office takes them as young as a year old or when they sprout their first tooth!) as well as older kids!

I have 3 children and Smile Kannapolis always accommodates us very well. I always dread doctors appointments and such, because of the long wait times. Fortunately, every time we visit, we are always out in about 30 minutes, which is a huge relief! I can't think of any other medical practice that I could say the same. The assistants are so sweet and great with the kids. At our last visit, my younger daughter, who's 3, was not easy to deal with at all. The lady cleaning her teeth stayed calm, was very sweet to my daughter, and got the job done quickly. She even put on some Christmas music for her. The dentist is so nice and personable and you can tell he really cares for his patients. My kids and I love this place. I've lived in Concord for 2 years and I still make the extra drive to Kannapolis. It is well worth it because of the amazing staff. Highly recommend!!!
