With 27 years as a practicing dentist, Dr. Gutierrez has used his ample expertise to bring out the beauty in his patients' smiles. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, he moved to Philadelphia to study at Temple University School of Dentistry, the second oldest institution of its kind in the country. Schooled in the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Gutierrez is certified to perform some of today's most innovative treatments. When not looking after his patients or his two children, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys fishing and studying Aikido, a Japanese martial art of which he has reached the level Sandan: 3rd degree blackbelt.

This office is great! I've always been so scared of the dentist but they were so friendly and made me feel comfortable. They are super friendly, kind and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend them to everyone I know.

Dr.Gutierrez is the absolute best!! I have a fear of going to the dentist and he makes you feel extremely comfortable and talks you through everything he is going to do. I had been wanting to get a few veneers for quite some time and helped me throughout the entire process to help me choose the best option and educate myself on the different options before deciding which to do. In addition, he worked his absolute best work to give me the best smile!! Thank you!

New Patients beware- Nice looking office (Terrible parking situation). The doctor seems friendly.. but that's about it. This practice only seems to value one thing, and it's definitely not patient care. They're only interested in making money. When I scheduled my appointment, I am told by the rather unprofessional front desk girl that as a new (fully insured) patient, I would be receiving an X-Ray, chat/check up with the Doctor & "Some time with the hygienist". This couldn't have been further from the truth. They used the old "bait n switch" method on me. You take time out of your busy work/personal life to show up for your appointment only to have terrible patient experience. What a waste of time. I showed up there to Receive what I am covered for with my insurance- A Dental cleaning. From my experience at other area dental offices, you always receive your regular cleaning, and IF necessary they will suggest you schedule a deep cleaning for a future date. In this case- I was x-rayed and dispatched. They made it clear they wouldn't be doing a regular cleaning, and the only way I could see the hygienist that day, would be if I payed the $280 for a deep cleaning on half my mouth. That did not align with what I was originally told (or should I say SOLD) on the phone, when I initially scheduled my appointment. Now- I've lost my opportunity to receive my 6 month cleaning for absolutely nothing, as I didn't get my actual basic cleaning. They could care less to carry out what I'm covered for, and just want me to go for out of pocket paid services ($280 x 2). This review is in no way a denial of my possible medical necessity of a deep cleaning, it is however an honestly bad experience. Better communication could've solved this from the inception. Typical Miami hustle in a dentist office. I get it, it's a business, but to blatantly deny an insured individual of a basic cleaning, is unethical and unprofessional.
