Our comprehensive team of general dentists, specialists, hygiene therapists, and certified dental assistants (of whom some are licensed dentists in other countries) have more than 20 years of experience. Our team works cooperatively to provide complete care, from cleanings and preventive treatments through cosmetic procedures, oral surgery, braces, and complex restorations.
Estela has been a part of the dental health community for 13 years. Her hard work dedication, and business ethics have helped her achieve her goal of becoming an Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant. Her knowledge, experience, and communication skills make her a value asset to that Smile Haus family,
Vera is a Registered Dental Hygienist, and a graduate of the University of Southern California, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has a passion for educating her patients about preventive dentistry and highly prioritizes patient comfort and quality care. She is passionate about enhancing dental education and has taught her knowledge of clinical dental hygiene to dental students at USC, and reached out to help her surrounding communities receive dental care locally and abroad.
Her positive attitude and delivery of care resemble her professionalism and commitment. Vera is multilingual in English, Spanish, Arabic and Armenian. When shes not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Monica has been in the dental field for over 30 years. Her vast clinical background allows her to understand the treatment being provided. Using that knowledge she is able to maximize the insurance benefits. She is an expert on financial options. She is fluent in Spanish. Her heartfelt compassion will guide you through the process of creating your wonderful smile, even holding your hand if you need it. She has a great smile that will always greet you at each visit. Most importantly, she is always here to help.
Iliana loves being a dental assistant. She has been assisting for past 10 years. She has tremendous experience in all aspects of dentistry. She finds a great joy in helping our patients maintain and achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. She is looking forward to further her education in order to help our patients at the highest levels.
She loves being a mom! Her daughter Isla is truly one of her biggest blessings.. being a mom her life changed in the most beautiful way! She loves to travel with her Wonderful life partner and experience all the beautiful things this world has to offer.
Jessica has been in the dental field for five years. She is always striving for greatness by continuing her education. She loves to be helpful and make sure that patients always feel comfortable. Her cheerful demeanor always brightens up a room. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her puppy, Milo. In her quest for beauty she keeps up with all the new beauty tends. She also enjoys going to the beach and hiking.
Dr. Hotait earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2009, and then completed advanced training in implantology, bone grafting, and gum disease treatment at the University of Indiana. He then relocated to Chicago, where he found tremendous success for nine years. After marrying a year ago, he and his wife decided to come to the LA area, a place they have truly loved for years.
Dr. Hotait is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), California Dental Association (CDA), Los Angeles Dental Society (LADS), and American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Dr. Hotait and his team are committed to continuing education, putting in far above the mandated minimum hours, and they put a great deal of effort into selecting the materials and techniques that will create the best long term outcomes for each patient. Dr. Hotait holds certifications in 3D dentistry, advanced implantology, Invisalign, full mouth rehabilitations, and smile makeovers.
Dr. Hotaits passion is what he calls the psychology of the smile. He knows that many people never smile at all due to the poor condition of their teeth. This issue can dramatically impact a persons life, both personally and professionally. Dr. Hotait considers it a great honor to restore his patients self-confidence by creating a smile that they are proud to show off.
In that same spirit, Dr. Hotait and his team are dedicated to making an impact on our community and inspiring others to build a better world. We do that through our pay it forward program, in which patients nominate someone in need of help and we simply help them get the treatment they need.

Our entire family are patients and always have had positive experiences! The entire staff is always very supportive. Denise has been especially kind and helpful with advise for at home care to keep our teeth and gums healthy!

I had the best cleaning with Cindy. She made my teeth actually looked whiter! Dr. Altman spent a lot of time with me and I could understand my options. Dr. Altman was gentle and my tooth feels great. I am very happy with my experience!!

I'm not a big fan of the dentist like most people but Smile Haus does dentistry right. I've been using them for the past 10+ years. They are very welcoming, reassuring, professional, and all around great people. I know my teeth are in good hands with them.

Every experience is great! Their hospitality makes going to the dentist so much fun. My dental hygienist, Denise, was so kind, patient, and gentle with my sore gums which I really really appreciated. Their compassionate environment motivates me to take pride in my dental health!

Very warm welcome by receptionist, very nice office. True professionals who clearly know what they are doing. Appointment went well, hygienist was very nice, informative and made sure I was comfortable at all times. A great place for dental work! I will refer family and friends!

Sommer the receptionist always so cheerful and professional got into the office in and out great timing with everything... Denise the person who was cleaning my teeth was also very good and professional as well and I am more than satisfied with the work that was done... Will definitely continue to go to this dentist office !!

Going to the dentist is always something I put off, because I associate it with three things: physical pain, feeling pressured/upsold and waiting. Bot much can be done about item 1 but Smile Haus has never pressured me or made me wait more than a couple of minutes.

Smile Haus was highly recommended for dentistry and orthodontics and I would recommend them to anyone as well since I've been going. I am very pleased with the work I've had and continue to have done. The staff is very professional and treat you as if you could be part of their family. They make sure to do a complete evaluation on the first visit for new clients and give you a breakdown of what work is needed and a timeline in which it should be completed. Thank you to all the staff for the great work you do! They also follow all CDC guidelines and protocols to keep them and their clients safe and healthy. 5 stars!
