Getting to know my patients and hearing about all the happenings in their lives is one of the best parts of my job. Its why I consider my patients to be more like friends than anything else. Because theyre like my friends, it means even more to me when I can make a positive difference in their lives. Sometimes I can make their lives better by simply giving them a smile. Other times it is eliminating pain to give them a reason to smile. Whether I am helping someone out of pain, maintaining excellent health, or showing them their new smile for the first time, dentistry is just the method by which I get to change a patients life for the better. If a simple, friendly conversation or a total smile makeover inspires them to be better tomorrow than they are today, then my job is complete. It is my goal that they leave the office happier and more confident than when they walked in.
Being a dentist is such a privilege! I am very grateful to be part of such a wonderful profession. I love helping people, getting to know them, and having the honor of being part of their lives. Dentistry is a special field of healthcare. As dentists, we have the opportunity to help our patients improve their health, their lifestyle, and their confidence. The most exciting part of my work is helping patients change their lives. My passion stems from helping patients smile more, chew better, and improve their oral health. I consider my patients to be my friends. I like seeing them when they come into the office and seeing them out in the community. It is always fun to hear updates from my patients and to learn about their families, interests, and hobbies. Growing up, I have always had a heart for the healthcare field, so I started my careeras a dental assistant in 2020 and completely fell in love. I love helping mypatients achieve a happier healthier smile while creating anenvironmentto ease dental anxiety. Outside of work, I enjoy doing makeupand spending time with friends and family.
I have been an orthodontic dental assistant since 2010 and I enjoy the process so much; I love watching my patients grow and seeing their new smile develop. I look forward to getting to know my patients on a personal level from the first visit to the big day when braces or Invisalign are finished.
I am blessed to be a part of Smile Fort Worth a team with integrity, honesty, and compassion. I am new in the office but not new to the dental field. I have 13 years of experience (and counting). During my spare time, I love traveling with my husband and two older children to learn about new cultures and foods. Outside of work, I have been a Zumba fitness instructor for seven years.
I am a Forth Worth native and have been a dental assistant since 2011. My favorite thing about my work is seeing patients journeys to happier, healthier smiles. I am an advocate for those wanting to improve their overall wellbeing through better dental health. I am also a proud mother of an amazing little girl who inspires me every day. On our days off we love to spend time together with our family, cookout, go out to eat, or spend much-needed girl time shopping.

Having a nice smile is often the source of our confidence and I love helping our patients achieve that in whatever they need. I loved everything about this dentist office! They were very nice and kind. They were informative of what they were doing throughout the entire process and got me in and out quick! They provided me with payment options also. I will be back!!!

Dr. Wilkinson and his assistant virgina were amazing talked Me through the whole visit including the treatment. They made sure I understood the procedure and the options that were on the table. They made sure I was comfortable during my procedure. 10 out of 10 best Dr ever!

Really love this dentist office. I moved from the state that I grew up in, where I had the same dentist and orthodontist for my entire life, so I was worried about finding a new one. The staff are super kind, they don't make me feel shame for having a little dental anxiety, and they even remember things about you, like when my upcoming wedding date is. The only thing I wish was different is no Friday availability. I'm pretty sure this is a recent change, but with their current hours, it makes it difficult to get around work. I get 1/2 days on Fridays so Friday scheduling, or even an earlier or later time during the rest of the week, would be super helpful.

The entire office vist was very relaxed and they made me feel at ease even I was nervous. I was very pleased with how everything was explained by the staff. But most of all doctor Wilkinson was so pleasant and he made me feel at ease. I am so glad I chose this dentist.

I am absolutely floored by the care, dedication, and empathy from Dr. Wilkinson! My boyfriend had the most incredible pain for days but yesterday, it lasted 12 hours straight so he messaged his Doctor when he got home. It was after hours so we did not expect an immediate call back. Not only did he call, but he offered to meet us at the clinic right then and there! He also made sure to squeeze him in at 8AM the very next day. Of course we were not going to ask him to leave his home at 8PM but we did definitely agree to be there the next day. Afterwards, were sent to an endodontist for a deeper look where we were then told to schedule with Smile for a procedure. We thought, "There's no way we'll be able to get in today at this time..." Wrong! Dr. Wilkinson understood his level of pain (now for over 24 hours) and told the nurse to go ahead and book him during his lunchbreak! The compassion he has is beyond! Let's not forget his team. Incredible, sweet, happy and are extremely welcoming and happy to see you. Dr. Make It Happen and Team, We thank you, thank you, thank you!! We can sleep tonight! Yay!! - Your Future Patient

Edit: I no longer go to this office bc they are now out of network and I'm SO SAD. I hate the dentist but I loved it here. I actually looked forward to going to the dentist which was a first. I don't think anyone can live up to my experience there (I know I'm going overboard but I really love it there!) if they are in network, go there! I have had a wonderful experience since i started going to this office. Friendly staff (friendly is an understatement!), relaxed environment, and the dentist I see is very easy to talk to!

Night and day from my old dentist I fired. This facility was so compassionate, professional, thorough , didn't make me feel rushed or like I was bothering them in anyway. He explained everything in a way I could understand & came up with a game plan for my dental needs. The ladies were extremely sweet & I could tell they genuinely cared about me & what I was going through. Contrary to Fort Worth Dental. I will never go back to Fort Worth Dental ever again. He was super kind, sweet & when I was upset and crying he made me laugh & forget about my dental issues from that moment on. A positive , talented, sweet & caring dentist is hard to find !! Well, today my prayers for help were answered . I was about to go to the emergency room since my old dentist refused to help me . I'm glad because I found a much better dentist !! Whom is also easy on the eyes ! Lol Hey I deserve some eye candy with the kind of pain from my dental problems I have been enduring so I will not apologize Thank you So very Much for everything it was a pleasure meeting all of you!! From his assistants to the young lady who worked with their billing department , hands down I would give Smile Fort Worth off. Hulen street A hundred stars if I could !!! Honestly ! My husband has been a patient of Dr. Wilkinson for many years. Recently (over Xmas holiday) he had an issue with his tooth and called the emergency holiday number to see if he could get in to see him. He not only came in once but met him twice on Xmas Eve at the office and again on New Year's Eve. Needless to say, we were not only appreciative of his dedication but knew that this dental practice has the best Dr's in Fort Worth. We cannot recommend them more highly.

From the moment I made the appointment to the moment I left the office everything was extremely kind friendly and even though I had been in pain left without pain this is a wonderful place to go I highly recommend. Not only was the young woman who took my x-rays and initial information extremely kind and patient she was very knowledgeable. The doctor that came in afterwards was extremely kind knowledgeable and they both talked in a way that I can understand exactly what to expect.

Family Smile Fort Worth reminded me today again, why I love going there. Besides the good cleanings, orthodontic treatment, and general dentistry services, they are beyond caring. My son had a situation today and between Dr. Wilkenson, the assistants and the front desk, they were all there to help making sure he is o.k. Thank you!

I wish I would have gotten my invisaligns with Smile Fort Worth instead of my previous dentist. But so thankful I found them in the end. From scheduling an appointment, the consultation visit, the removal, and goodie bag for having my invisaligns removed was the most smoothest informative process! Shannon and Jamie were phenomenal! I strongly suggest if you're relocating to Fort Worth to pick Smile Fort Worth for you permanent dentist office.
