Dr. Gordon founded Smile Fitness Dental Center in 1987 to deliver excellent family dentistry at affordable prices. Born and raised in New York, he is a graduate ofCity College of New YorkandNew York University College of Dentistry. After receiving his DDS in 1971, Dr. Gordon served in the United States Air Force for six years and provided dental care for our troops. He moved to Arizona in 1976.
Dr. Gordon has been a lecturer for theAmerican Academy of Dental Group Practices and is a member of theAlpha Omega Dental Fraternity. He is the recipient of The Communicator Award as well as the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. Dr. Gordon was the first dentist in the 2nd Air Force Division to receive this award. He is a Diamond Leader in theCommanders Club of Disabled American Veterans.
His nine granddaughters fill his life with joy. When he's not practicing dentistry or spending time with his family, Dr. Gordon likes to play tennis and watch basketball, tennis and football. He supports Luke Air Force Base and Disabled American Veterans.
He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and has had advanced training at the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. He has also had postgraduate training in the placement and restoration of implants. He was a Clinical Instructor in Restorative Dentistry at St. Josephs Hospital Health Center. He is a member of the American and Arizona Dental Associations. Dr. Florento is currently an instructor at Midwestern University College of Dentistry.

People is friendly since you were in, as soon as you start talking to them you know you're talking to professionals, I have deep cleaning on my teeth and the most important thing I didn't feel any pain like in other places so I really recommend you this place for all your dental work

My dental tech is so kind and makes me feel comfortable in the most uncomfortable situation. I don't love going to get my teeth scraped, poked and prodded but it's always better with her! I'll continue to return to this office for my cleanings and screenings. Thank you!

Today was my first day as a new patient here, i got treatment for my teeth issue at the Phoenix location and the entire staff was awesome! The facility is clean and well decorated, the staff are sweet and professional and the procedure i got by Jackie the dentist wasnt painful at all! And the cherry on top was that the service was super affordable i am making this my new and permanent dental home!

I have been coming to smile fitness dental center for over 30 years. Dr. Gordon and his staff are so though and professional. From the front when you check in to Ginger and the other staff such well run and friendly dental office . I look forward to coming and having my check up and teeth cleaning. The staff is wonderful! The office is clean and everyone is very welcoming. The dentist makes you feel very comfortable and explains everything in detail. I've never felt so excited to go to the dentist :)

Had 2 cracked teeth emergency extracted today, the assistants, the staff, even the oral surgeon ( a sweet dark haired lady) were absolutely wonderful, If I could give a gift, I would. I had some serious issues afterwards and the on call dentist who I spoke to was absolutely RUDE and not understanding at all, very flippant and dismissive...unhelpful, and I feel like I suffered more AFTER my procedure. My mouth was filling with blood, I was getting dizzy and the pain was EXCRUCIATING and I was left with nothing, no real guidance, no real help. My suggestion to anyone who reads this is to maybe find a place that employs dentists with more compassion who understands that not everyone is addicted to opiates and some people are truly in unbearable pain. I understand the situation the country is in, Drs would rather watch people suffer than to treat patients on a case by case basis, I get it. Its just all so disheartening when you're in true pain and despair. Again, good place with a few good workers, nothing more....nothing less. Edit: So I needed some additional work done for the procedures to be complete, and I can honestly say without the previous situation happening , this place is absolutely wonderful. Probably some of the best staff I've ever dealt with. Totally professional, knowledgeable and caring. This place does good things.I appreciated all the work and concern

I went in with a tooth ache emergency. I was seen, evaluated and fixed within 90 minutes (including a root canal!) Staff were helpful and polite. I will recommend and return for cleanings!
