Dr. Jenny Citineni found her passion for dentistry after she graduated college. She met a dentist who introduced her to the different aspects of the field, and she quickly found a passion for the art, results, and positive patients - especially the kids! In 2006, she started dental school at UNC.

After earning her dental degree, she became the Dental Director of a Children's Health Department Dental Clinic in Lexington, NC. Dr. Jenny is a recognized, sought-after pediatric dentist. Her accomplishments and awards speak to her drive, ambition, and passion for delivering quality care:

When a family enters our Durham office, Dr. Jenny offers disarming, fun-loving, enthusiastic care. She treats every child like a star, and makes each patient feel comfortable and excited about their dental health journey.

Dr. Yvette Thompson was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. She completed dental school at the Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2008. She quickly realized her passion was working with children and after practicing general dentistry for three years she began further training to specialize in children. She completed her residency training at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland Oregon in 2013.

It is Dr. Yvettes mission to treat children with gentleness, compassion and respect while making dentistry fun so that they can grow to be healthy adults without fear of dentistry. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Dr Yvette lives in Chapel Hill with Dr. Eric Thompson, a pediatric neurosurgeon at Duke Childrens hospital. When they are not treating pediatric patients, they spend their quality time with their two adorable sons, Joaquin and Javier.

She completed her pediatric dental specialization with a Master of Science degree from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Santa Clara University. Dr. Robin is also a mother of two boys, so she takes pride in being able to understand the needs of parents and in giving families the most practical recommendations.

We had the best experience!! The staff was very nice and friendly. My son is 7 and they explained every step as they did them. I have never seen him so calm at a dentist. I live in Wilson and we went to 2 places and he cried at both wanting to come home. He felt right at home here. I would recommend Smile First Pediatric Dental to everyone!

My daughter & I love Total Smiles! She actually looks forward to going to the dentist! The staff is amazing with the kids and I love the rewards they can earn from "good behaviors". When my daughter weaned off her paci they rewarded her with a big stuffed penguin! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist for their young child!

I reviewed this place yesterday honestly and respectfully, then, within several hours they commented underneath attempting to invalidate my entire experience while making it seem like I am nuts. They said we parted ways because I became verbally abusive which is a blatant lie, and even more harmful hurled toward an autistic black woman. I have not been verbally abusive throughout my time with them but instead direct. That is not the reason they discharged my kids - it was because I cancelled outside of their accepted time frame once per their policy. I have proof of this having been the reason. Everything I said in my previous review is true and they are morally bankrupt to try to gaslight a person's reality for the sake of their image.
