I came to this dental clinic for a dental cleaning that was covered by my medical insurance, was told i needed a deeper cleaning and that the cleaning covered by my insurance was not going to do much . they tried to convince me but it did not work .so i went with the one that was covered by insurance. they did not take their time at all to do a decent job instead they finished in less than 15 minutes . it was a bad choice and a waste of time coming here .

Nothing bad to say about the dentists who work there. They gave me all the information I needed but the ladies who work at the front desk are so unorganized and unprofessional. Never coming back.

I had an excellent experience from making my first appointment, throughout the exam and cleaning, and all the way up to checkout at Smile Family Dental. After moving to Miami I found it difficult to find a quality dentist. Smile Family dental has updated equipment, excellent bedside manner, very clean, and hospitable. I am very happy to have found my new dentist.

Terrible experience! My initial appointment was for an evaluation, x-rays and a routine cleaning. I arrived timely for my appointment and was seen 1 1/2 hours later. The dental technician did not know how to take x-rays and caused me to have pain! I have never experienced discomfort and pain when having x-rays taken. Eventually the dentist saw my x-rays and recommended a mid-deep cleaning. I refused to have this type of cleaning as I have my teeth cleaned every five months! I am certain this type of cleaning was recommended as it is not covered by insurance. This appointment was a total waste of my time!!!

Worst place ever. Went for a cleaning and did not want to perform the cleaning. They were pushing for a deep cleaning, of course not covered by the insurance. I'm sure they wanted to charge for the regular cleaning the insurance, plus charge me $80 for the deep cleaning. It is a fraud!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I tried this place twice and I won't give them a chance for a third strike. Lol Honestly, finding a doctor or dentist in Miami is rough in general. So, good luck. I wish I could help more but i haven't found a good one for me yet. I went last year because I had a bad experience at another dentist who literally put his belly on my head as he leaned over me...lol i won't go into it. Bana isn't my favorite. So i go to this one because the ratings are great and the receptionist seemed like she knew what she was doing. Long story short, the appointment took forever and i didn't feel like the dental hygienist knew what she doing because she had to ask the receptionist to answer my questions. They really seem to count on the receptionist. Which hey, that's great. She's probably worked there a while and has seen it all. But going this second time a year later, i only went because the rep at my insurance company suggested them since the receptionist " knew what she was doing." But heck no. When a dentist seems totally lost without the receptionist, I'm not comfortable with her being in my mouth. And that's exactly what happened. She didn't even know how to work the computer and didn't review my x-rays from my previous doctor. Just took the receptionist word for it. Plus the receptionist is actually super passively rude. She isn't apologetic when she makes a mistake (cancelled my appointment), or when we're waiting two hours for our appointment to start. And she is SUPER LOUD. No discretion at all when talking about insurance or your follow up stuff. She told me how i should be flossing and then when i said that's not what i felt the dentist do to me just now, she YELLED to call the doctor over and asked her to confirm with her what how i should be flossing and what her technique was Infront of the entire waiting room. I don't care how well you know the process or whatever. That doesn't make a good receptionist. No professionalism there. And my search continues for a decent dental experience.

AMAZING is an understatement!!! Patty has amazing customer service everything is nice and clean.. my kids were terrified of the dentist until we came here now they don't mind it thanks to the dr that is very patient and friendly with them... I highly recommend this Dwntist office to everyone.. happy patient

Where I had an an abscess tooth and was attended to regarding antibiotics and painkillers. The office never followed up on the surgery which was needed.
